本発明は、乗用コンバインにおける操縦部へのオペレ−タの乗降ステップ装置に関するものである。

従来、乗用コンバインにはオペレ−タの乗降用ステップが設けられているが、その乗降用ステップは実開昭62−151146号公報または実開平2−90158号公報に記載のように、地面と操縦部の間に1個のステップが取付けられ、それを作用姿勢から収納姿勢に姿勢変更可能にしたものである。また、運転ステップの外側部下方に補助ステップの一端を垂下状態から起立状態に回動できるように枢着してピンを中心に回動させ、該ステップ全体を引き上げて側板の外側にそうように収納し、下段のステップが収納時に運転ステップの上面と同じ高さになる構成にしたものが実開昭63−72134号公報に記載され、実開昭50−128239号には、操縦者席の横外側箇所に乗降用ステップを起伏自在に設けるとともに、刈取装置の横側部で機体前後方向姿勢に配置させた分草杵の途中または端部を前記ステップの外側端部に連結させて、ステップの起状により分草杵を機体横外側に突出状態にする位置と機体幅内に収納状態にする位置に切り替え可能にしたステップ構造が記載されている。

このように、従来の乗降ステップは単に1個のものが取付けられているので、乗用コンバインの大型化によって操縦部の地上高は高くなり1個の乗降ステップでは乗降が容易でないという欠点をもっている。

そこで、操縦部へのオペレ−タの乗降用ステップを設けたコンバインにおいて、本発明のものは、乗降用ステップを複数個の乗降ステップにして機体に取付け、地面と操縦部との間に階段状にする作用姿勢と機体側への収納姿勢とに姿勢変更可能にし、収納姿勢への変更を操縦部に設けた足踏みペダルの踏み込み作動に連動させる構成にすることによって、大型の乗用コンバインであっても階段状の乗降ステップによりオペレ−タの乗降が容易になり、且つ足踏みペダルの踏み込みによって姿勢が変更するからオペレ−タによる姿勢変更が便利に行えるようになる。
