Description

【0001】

The present invention relates to a configured digital data processing system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, with the spread of digital devices such as personal computers and AV (Audio & Video) devices, digital data such as audio and computer programs has become widespread and common. For example, according to a portable audio reproducing apparatus that records and reproduces audio data such as a compact disc (CD) in a semiconductor memory, a user can use digital audio data recorded on a CD with AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) or the like. The compressed audio data is compressed by the compression method, converted into small-capacity data, and can be recorded in the semiconductor memory.
[0003]
Here, the configuration and operation of a conventional digital data processing system will be specifically described with reference to FIG. FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing an embodiment of a digital data processing system for recording using a conventional semiconductor memory.
[0004]
In the digital data recording host device 201 of the digital data processing system shown in FIG. 7, the digital data reading unit 51 is for reading the digital data from the CD 50 on which the audio digital data is recorded. The unit 52 converts the digital data read by the digital data reading unit 51 into an AAC format and compresses it. The compressed digital data is converted into a prescribed transmission format by the card interface unit 53 and transmitted to the digital data recording card 200 constituted by a semiconductor memory as a recording medium. Each function of the digital data reading unit 51, the digital data recording processing unit 52, and the card interface unit 53 is realized by an application program stored in the host control unit 54 being executed by a microcomputer.
[0005]
In the digital data recording card 200, the digital data transmitted from the digital data recording host device 201 is converted by the host interface unit 61 from the transmission format to the original compressed digital data. [0010]
In addition, after the interrupt signal issued by the digital data processing card is received by the digital data processing host device and the corresponding application data can be processed, the mechanism for canceling the interrupt signal is not clear. In the processing card, there is a problem that the interrupt signal is continuously issued without being released, and the digital data processing host device remains interrupted.
[0011]

The digital data processing card 100 includes an application module 1, a card memory control unit 2, a data storage unit 3, and an interrupt signal generation unit 4. , An IO host interface unit 5, and a card control unit 6. In addition, the digital data processing host 101 includes an IO card interface unit 10, an interrupt signal receiving unit 11, a host command generation unit 12, an interrupt release signal generation unit 13, an application processing unit 14, and a host control unit 15. Yes.
[0019]
The digital data processing card 100 and the digital data processing host 101 have a command signal line (CMD) for transmitting / receiving data for controlling the digital data processing card 100 and four data signal lines (for transmitting / receiving corresponding application data). DAT) and a clock signal line (CLK) for transmitting a clock signal serving as a reference signal for command signals and data signals.
[0020]
In the digital data processing card 100, the application module 1 that has received the corresponding application data processes the received application data and converts it into prescribed digital data. Here, the application module 1 is assumed to be a module that performs wired or wireless communication, but may be another application. The source of data reception may be from an external terminal or may be data reception from other functional blocks in the card. The application module 1 controls the card memory control unit 2 to store the converted application data, and stores the converted application data in the data storage unit 3. The application module 1 that has received the application data notifies the interrupt signal generation unit 4 that the application data has been received. The interrupt signal generation unit 4 notified of the reception of the application data generates an interrupt signal and transmits it to the IO host interface unit 5. The IO host interface unit 5 converts the data of one data signal line (DAT1) into a prescribed transmission format based on the generated interrupt signal, and transmits it to the digital data processing host device 101.
[0021]
In the digital data processing host device 101, the IO card interface unit 10 receives the interrupt signal transmitted from the digital data processing card 100 and converts it into the original interrupt signal. The converted interrupt signal is received by the interrupt signal receiver 11 and notifies the host controller 15 that the digital data processing card 100 has received the application data. The host command generation unit 12 is controlled by the host control unit 15 and generates a control signal for processing application data received by the digital data processing card 100. In addition, the host command generator 12 controls the interrupt release signal generator 13 at the same time as generating a control signal for receiving application data. The interrupt cancel signal generation unit 13 generates an interrupt cancel signal for canceling the interrupt signal, and is added to a specific place of the application control signal by the IO card interface unit 10 to send a command to the digital data processing card 100. It is transmitted in a prescribed transmission format via the signal line.
[0022]
The IO host interface unit 5 that has received the application control signal stores the control signal in a specific location of the card control unit 6. The card control unit 6 discriminates the stored control signal, controls the card memory control unit 2 via the IO host interface 5, and converts the application data stored in the card data storage unit 3 into a digital data processing host. Transmit to the device 101 in a prescribed transmission format. Further, the card control unit 6 determines an interrupt release signal included in the application control signal and transmits it to the interrupt signal generation unit 4. The interrupt signal generator 4 that has received the interrupt release signal is reset and the interrupt signal is released.
[0023]
In the digital data processing host device 101, the IO card interface unit 10 that has received the application data converts the received application data and transmits it to the application processing unit 14. The application processing unit 14 decodes the received application data and transmits the decoded application data to a function processing unit such as voice processing or data storage.
[0024]
The application module 1, the interrupt signal generation unit 4, and the IO host interface unit 5 in the digital data processing card are realized by being executed by an application program stored in the card control unit 6.
[0025]
The IO card interface unit 10, the host command generation unit 12, and the application processing unit 14 in the digital data processing host device are realized by being executed by an application program stored in the host control unit 15.
[0026]
Next, the operation of the digital data processing system in the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 (a) and 2 (b) to FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b). Here, the control signal transmitted on the command signal line (CMD) includes a control signal that only controls the digital data processing card, and some related data from the card after controlling the digital data processing card. There is a control signal sent via the data signal line.
