Description

【0001】

−ΔH>3.0Kcal/wol

【0137】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an image recording material that can be used as a planographic printing plate, color proof, photoresist, and color filter. More particularly, the present invention relates to a negative type image recording material that can be used as a so-called lithographic printing plate material capable of direct plate making by scanning with an infrared laser based on a digital signal from a computer or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, solid-state lasers and semiconductor lasers that emit infrared rays having a wavelength of 760 nm to 1200 nm have been attracting attention as recording light sources for systems for directly making a plate from digital data of a computer because high-power and small-sized lasers can be easily obtained. However, since many photosensitive recording materials useful in practical use have a photosensitive wavelength in the visible light range of 760 nm or less, image recording cannot be performed with these infrared lasers. Therefore, a material that can be recorded with an infrared laser is desired.
[0003]
As an image recording material recordable by such an infrared laser, an onium salt, a phenol resin, and a spectral sensitizer described in US Pat. No. 4,708,925 (hereinafter referred to as “US” as appropriate) are used. There is a recording material consisting of. However, this image recording material is a positive type utilizing a dissolution inhibiting effect on a developing solution expressed by an onium salt and a phenol resin, and is not a negative type as in the present invention. On the other hand, the negative type image recording material has, for example, a substance that absorbs light and generates heat, an alkali-soluble resin, and 4 to 8 benzene nuclei in the molecule described in JP-A-8-276558. There are recording materials consisting of specific phenol derivatives. However, this image recording material has insufficient sensitivity during laser exposure. Various attempts to increase the sensitivity of these recording materials have been proposed, but generally, the means for improving the sensitivity tends to reduce the storage stability of the recording material. In particular, storage stability at high humidity has been a problem.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to make a plate-making directly from digital data such as a computer by recording using a solid-state laser and a semiconductor laser that emits infrared rays. It is an object of the present invention to provide a negative image recording material having good storage stability even when wet.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventor has paid attention to the components of the negative type image recording material, and as a result of intensive studies, found that the above object can be achieved by using a phenol derivative having a specific functional group as a crosslinking agent, and completed the present invention. It came to do. That is, the present invention relates to a negative image recording material comprising (A) a compound that crosslinks with an acid, (B) a binder polymer, (C) a compound that generates an acid by heat, and (D) an infrared absorber. (A) The compound which crosslinks with an acid is a low molecular weight phenol derivative having a structure represented by the following general formula (I) and having a molecular weight of 1000 or less,

That is, the compound of general formula (I) can be synthesized from the corresponding phenol derivative by hydroxyalkylation and alkoxylation with a carbonyl compound.
These phenol derivatives may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Moreover, when synthesizing these phenol derivatives, the phenol derivatives may condense and impurities such as dimers and trimers may be by-produced, but they may be used while containing these impurities. Even in this case, the impurities are preferably 30% or less, and more preferably 20% or less.
[0070]
In the present invention, the phenol derivative is used in an amount of 5 to 70% by weight, preferably 10 to 50% by weight, based on the total solid content of the image recording material. Here, when the addition amount of the phenol derivative as the crosslinking agent is less than 5% by weight, the film strength of the image portion when the image is recorded deteriorates, and when it exceeds 70% by weight, the stability during storage is increased. It is not preferable.
[0071]

These aromatic hydrocarbon rings may have a substituent other than a hydroxy group or an alkoxy group, for example, a substituent such as a halogen group or a cyano group, but from the viewpoint of sensitivity, other than a hydroxy group or an alkoxy group. It is preferable not to have the above substituent.

The polymer having these structural units can be obtained by radical polymerization by a conventionally known method using the corresponding monomer.
[0079]
In the present invention, the binder polymer may be a homopolymer consisting only of the structural unit represented by the general formula (II), but together with this specific structural unit, structural units derived from other known monomers. You may use the copolymer which has. Other known monomers used at this time include, for example, acrylic esters such as methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, propyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, cyclohexyl acrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, and benzyl acrylate; Methacrylates such as methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, propyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate, cyclohexyl methacrylate, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, benzyl methacrylate; styrene, acrylonitrile, and acidic groups such as acrylic acid and methacrylic acid Monomer having; p-styrenesulfonic acid sodium salt, 2-acrylamide- - alkali metal salts of methylpropanesulfonic acid, tetraalkylammonium salts, monomers containing a salt of a strong acid such as potassium salt of 3-sulfopropyl acrylate.
[0080]
The proportion of the structural unit represented by the general formula (II) contained in the copolymer using these is preferably 50 to 100% by weight, more preferably 60 to 100% by weight.
The weight average molecular weight of the polymer used in the present invention is preferably 5000 or more, more preferably in the range of 10,000 to 300,000, and the number average molecular weight is preferably 1000 or more, and more preferably 2000 to 2000 The range is 250,000. The polydispersity (weight average molecular weight / number average molecular weight) is preferably 1 or more, and more preferably 1.1 to 10.
[0081]
These polymers may be random polymers, block polymers, graft polymers, or the like, but are preferably random polymers.
[0082]
Examples of the solvent used in the synthesis of the polymer used in the present invention include tetrahydrofuran, ethylene dichloride, cyclohexanone, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, methanol, ethanol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, 2-methoxyethyl. Acetate, diethylene glycol dimethyl ether, 1-methoxy-2-propanol, 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate, N, N-dimethylformamide, N, N-dimethylacetamide, toluene, ethyl acetate, methyl lactate, ethyl lactate, dimethyl sulfoxide, Water etc. are mentioned. These solvents are used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0083]
As the radical polymerization initiator used for synthesizing the polymer used in the present invention, known compounds such as azo initiators and peroxide initiators can be used.
[0084]
Next, novolaks are described. Examples of the novolak resin suitably used in the present invention include phenol novolac, various cresol novolacs of o-, m-, and p-, and copolymers thereof, novolacs using phenol substituted with a halogen atom, an alkyl group, or the like. It is done.
The weight average molecular weight of these novolak resins is preferably 1000 or more, more preferably 2000 to 20,000, and the number average molecular weight is preferably 1000 or more, more preferably 2000 to 15000. . The polydispersity is preferably 1 or more, more preferably 1.1 to 10.
[0085]
The binder polymer used in the present invention described above may be used alone or in combination of two or more. These polymers are added to the image recording material in a proportion of 20 to 95% by weight, preferably 40 to 90% by weight, based on the total solid content of the image recording material. When the addition amount is less than 20% by weight, the strength of the image portion is insufficient when an image is formed. If the addition amount exceeds 95% by weight, no image is formed.
[0086]
By simultaneously using the (A) phenol derivative and the (B) binder polymer having the specific structure described above, the sensitivity during laser exposure and the storage stability in a high humidity environment are improved. Although the reason for this is not necessarily clear, the results of various comparative experiments have found that those containing a specific functional group in the cross-linking agent are superior in terms of sensitivity and storage stability. As a result of examining and considering the effect of the functional group of the compound, a substance having a large interaction (hydrogen bond, donor acceptor or acid-base interaction) with a phenolic OH group, for example, cited a known document, “Hydrogen” Bonding ”as described in Joesten Schaad, P291-381, especially when the enthalpy (−ΔH) of the interaction between the model compound having each functional group and phenol satisfies the following formula, the above sensitivity and storage stability It was found that compatibility and improvement of sex can be achieved.
-ΔH> 3.0 Kcal / wol
For this reason, the use of a cross-linking agent that has a strong interaction with the phenolic OH group of the binder polymer, etc., improved the film quality during mixing against external factors (water, heat), and cross-linking. It is presumed that the essence of the present invention is that the agent is held in the very vicinity of phenol and the crosslinking efficiency is improved. In addition, it is assumed that the same can be considered for the binder having an alkoxy group. Furthermore, as an experimental fact, when the cross-linking agent of the present invention is used, when the amount of the cross-linking agent added is excessively mixed, only the cross-linking agent is separated from the binder and crystallized on the surface. It is known that this is significantly better than the conventional one having no functional group, and this is considered to support the above-mentioned assumption.
[0087]
In addition, by using the crosslinking agent of the present invention, for example, even if there is a phenolic OH group in the side chain of the binder like polyhydroxystyrene, there is a phenolic OH group in the main chain like novolak. It is considered that the above-mentioned estimation is supported by the fact that the sensitivity is sufficiently high, and that the crosslinking agent itself is multifunctional and has a sufficiently high molecular weight even if it has a certain degree of molecular weight.

[0103]
These dyes or pigments may be added to the same layer as other components, or another layer may be provided and added thereto.
[0104]
[Other ingredients]
In the present invention, various compounds other than these may be added as necessary. For example, a dye having a large absorption in the visible light region can be used as an image colorant. Specifically, Oil Yellow # 101, Oil Yellow # 103, Oil Pink # 312, Oil Green BG, Oil Blue BOS, Oil Blue # 603, Oil Black BY, Oil Black BS, Oil Black T-505 (orientated chemistry) Manufactured by Kogyo Co., Ltd.), Victoria Pure Blue, Crystal Violet (CI42555), Methyl Violet (CI42535), Ethyl Violet, Rhodamine B (CI145170B), Malachite Green (CI42000), Methylene Blue (CI52015), Eisenspiron Blue C-RH ( Hodogaya Chemical Co., Ltd.) and the dyes described in JP-A-62-293247.
[0105]
The addition of these dyes makes it easier to distinguish between the image area and the non-image area after image formation. The amount added is 0.01 to 10% by weight based on the total solid content of the image recording material.
[0106]
In addition, in the image recording material in the present invention, a nonionic surfactant as described in JP-A No. 62-251740 and JP-A No. 3-208514, Amphoteric surfactants as described in JP-A-59-121044 and JP-A-4-13149 can be added.

[0109]
The proportion of the nonionic surfactant and the amphoteric surfactant in the image recording material is preferably 0.05 to 15% by weight, more preferably 0.1 to 5% by weight.
[0110]
Furthermore, a plasticizer is added to the image recording material of the present invention as needed to impart flexibility of the coating film. For example, polyethylene glycol, tributyl citrate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, dihexyl phthalate, dioctyl phthalate, tricresyl phosphate, tributyl phosphate, trioctyl phosphate, tetrahydrofurfuryl oleate and the like are used.
[0111]
In the image recording material of the present invention, the above components are usually dissolved in a solvent and coated on a suitable support. Solvents used here include ethylene dichloride, cyclohexanone, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, ethanol, propanol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, 1-methoxy-2-propanol, 2-methoxyethyl acetate, 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate, dimethoxy Examples include ethane, methyl lactate, ethyl lactate, N, N-dimethylacetamide, N, N-dimethylformamide, tetramethylurea, N-methylpyrrolidone, dimethyl sulfoxide, sulfolane, γ-butyllactone, toluene, water, and the like. However, it is not limited to this. These solvents are used alone or in combination. The concentration of the above components (total solid content including additives) in the solvent is preferably 1 to 50% by weight. Further, the coating amount (solid content) on the support obtained after coating and drying varies depending on the use, but generally speaking, it is preferably 0.5 to 5.0 g / m 2 for a lithographic printing plate material. Various methods can be used as the coating method, and examples thereof include bar coater coating, spin coating, spray coating, curtain coating, dip coating, air knife coating, blade coating, and roll coating. As the coating amount decreases, the apparent sensitivity increases, but the film characteristics of the image recording film deteriorate.
[0112]
In the image recording material of the present invention, a surfactant for improving the coating property, for example, a fluorine-based surfactant described in JP-A-62-170950 can be added. A preferred addition amount is 0.01 to 1% by weight, more preferably 0.05 to 0.5% by weight, based on the total solid content of the image recording material.
[0113]
[Support]
The support on which the image recording material of the present invention can be applied is a dimensionally stable plate-like material such as paper, paper laminated with plastic (for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, etc.), metal plate, and the like. (Eg, aluminum, zinc, copper, etc.), plastic film (eg, cellulose diacetate, cellulose triacetate, cellulose propionate, cellulose butyrate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyvinyl Acetal, etc.), paper or plastic film on which a metal as described above is laminated or vapor-deposited.
[0114]
A preferable support includes a polyester film or an aluminum plate, and among them, an aluminum plate having good dimensional stability and relatively inexpensive is particularly preferable. A suitable aluminum plate is a pure aluminum plate or an alloy plate containing aluminum as a main component and containing a trace amount of foreign elements, and may be a plastic film on which aluminum is laminated or vapor-deposited. Examples of foreign elements contained in the aluminum alloy include silicon, iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, chromium, zinc, bismuth, nickel, and titanium. The total content of foreign elements in the alloy is 10% by weight or less. Particularly suitable aluminum in the present invention is pure aluminum, but completely pure aluminum is difficult to produce in the refining technique, and may contain slightly different elements. Thus, the composition of the aluminum plate applied to the present invention is not specified, and an aluminum plate made of a publicly known material can be appropriately used. The thickness of the aluminum plate used in the present invention is about 0.1 mm to 0.6 mm, preferably 0.15 mm to 0.4 mm, and particularly preferably 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm.
[0115]
Prior to roughening the aluminum plate, a degreasing treatment with, for example, a surfactant, an organic solvent, an alkaline aqueous solution or the like is performed to remove the rolling oil on the surface, if desired.
The surface roughening treatment of the aluminum plate is performed by various methods. For example, a method of mechanically roughening, a method of electrochemically dissolving and roughening a surface, and a method of selectively dissolving a surface chemically. This is done by the method of As the mechanical method, a known method such as a ball polishing method, a brush polishing method, a blast polishing method, or a buff polishing method can be used. Further, as an electrochemical surface roughening method, there is a method of performing alternating current or direct current in hydrochloric acid or nitric acid electrolyte. Further, as disclosed in JP-A-54-63902, a method in which both are combined can also be used.
[0116]
The roughened aluminum plate is subjected to an alkali etching treatment and neutralization treatment as necessary, and then subjected to an anodization treatment to enhance the water retention and wear resistance of the surface as desired. As the electrolyte used for the anodizing treatment of the aluminum plate, various electrolytes that form a porous oxide film can be used. In general, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, oxalic acid, chromic acid, or a mixed acid thereof is used. The concentration of these electrolytes is appropriately determined depending on the type of electrolyte.
[0117]
The treatment conditions for anodization vary depending on the electrolyte used and cannot be specified in general. In general, however, the electrolyte concentration is 1 to 80% by weight solution, the liquid temperature is 5 to 70 ° C., and the current density is 5 to 60 A / day. dm 2 , voltage 1 to 100 V, and electrolysis time 10 seconds to 5 minutes are suitable.
[0118]
When the amount of the anodized film is less than 1.0 g / m 2 , the printing durability is insufficient, or the non-image part of the planographic printing plate is easily damaged, and ink adheres to the damaged part during printing. So-called “scratch dirt” is likely to occur.
[0119]
After the anodizing treatment, the aluminum surface is subjected to a hydrophilic treatment if necessary. The hydrophilization treatment usable in the present invention is disclosed in US Pat. Nos. 2,714,066, 3,181,461, 3,280,734, and 3,902,734. There is an alkali metal silicate (for example, sodium silicate aqueous solution) method. In this method, the support is immersed in an aqueous sodium silicate solution or electrolytically treated. In addition, it is disclosed in potassium zirconate fluoride disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 36-22063, U.S. Pat. Nos. 3,276,868, 4,153,461, and 4,689,272. A method of treating with polyvinyl phosphonic acid is used.
[0120]
[Others]
Before applying the image recording material of the present invention, an undercoat layer can be provided on the support, if necessary.
Various organic compounds are used as the undercoat layer component, for example, phosphonic acids having an amino group such as carboxymethylcellulose, dextrin, gum arabic, 2-aminoethylphosphonic acid; phenylphosphonic acid optionally having a substituent Organic phosphonic acids such as naphthylphosphonic acid, alkylphosphonic acid, glycerophosphonic acid, methylenediphosphonic acid and ethylenediphosphonic acid; phenylphosphoric acid, naphthylphosphoric acid, alkylphosphoric acid and glycerophosphoric acid which may have a substituent Organic phosphoric acid; phenylphosphinic acid, naphthylphosphinic acid, alkylphosphinic acid and glycerophosphinic acid, which may have a substituent; amino acids such as glycine and β-alanine; and hydrochloric acid of triethanolamine Amines having hydroxyl groups such as salts -Alanine hydrochloride salt, it may be used by mixing two or more. It is also preferable to undercoat the aforementioned diazonium compound.
The coating amount of the organic undercoat layer is suitably 2 to 200 mg / m2.
[0121]
As described above, a lithographic printing plate using the image recording material of the present invention can be produced. This planographic printing plate can be recorded with an infrared laser. Thermal recording with an ultraviolet lamp or a thermal head is also possible. In the present invention, image exposure is preferably performed by a solid-state laser and a semiconductor laser that emit infrared rays having a wavelength of 760 nm to 1200 nm.
In the present invention, the development treatment may be performed immediately after exposure, but the heat treatment may be performed between the exposure step and the development step. When the heat treatment is performed, the conditions are preferably 5 to 5 minutes within a range of 60 to 150 ° C. As the heating method, various conventionally known methods can be used. For example, a method of heating while contacting a recording material with a panel heater or a ceramic heater, a non-contact heating method with a lamp or hot air, and the like can be mentioned. This heat treatment can reduce the laser energy required for recording during laser irradiation.
[0122]
After heat treatment as necessary, the image recording material of the present invention is preferably developed with water or an alkaline aqueous solution.
[0123]
When an alkaline aqueous solution is used, conventionally known alkaline aqueous solutions can be used as the developer and replenisher for the image recording material of the present invention. For example, sodium silicate, potassium, tribasic sodium phosphate, potassium, ammonium, dibasic sodium phosphate, potassium, ammonium, sodium carbonate, potassium, ammonium, sodium bicarbonate, potassium, Examples include inorganic alkali salts such as ammonium, sodium borate, potassium, ammonium, sodium hydroxide, ammonium, potassium, and lithium. Moreover, monomethylamine, dimethylamine, trimethylamine, monoethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, monoisopropylamine, diisopropylamine, triisopropylamine, n-butylamine, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, monoisopropanolamine, diisopropanolamine, Organic alkali agents such as ethyleneimine, ethylenediamine, and pyridine are also used.
[0124]
These alkali agents are used alone or in combination of two or more.
An example of a particularly preferable developer among these alkali agents is an aqueous silicate solution such as sodium silicate and potassium silicate. This is because the developability can be adjusted by the ratio and concentration of silicon oxide SiO 2 and alkali metal oxide M 2 O, which are silicate components. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 54-62004, Alkali metal silicates as described in JP-A-57-7427 are effectively used.
[0125]
Furthermore, when developing using an automatic developing machine, an aqueous solution (replenisher) having a higher alkali strength than that of the developer is added to the developer, so that the developer in the developer tank is not changed for a long time. It is known that a lithographic printing plate material can be processed. This replenishment method is also preferably applied in the present invention.
[0126]
Various surfactants, organic solvents, and the like can be added to the developer and the replenisher as necessary for the purpose of promoting and suppressing developability, dispersing development residue, and improving the ink affinity of the printing plate image area. Preferred surfactants include anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants. Preferred organic solvents include benzyl alcohol. Moreover, addition of polyethylene glycol or a derivative thereof, or polypropylene glycol or a derivative thereof is also preferable.
[0127]
In addition, the developer and replenisher may contain an inorganic salt reducing agent such as hydroquinone, resorcin, sodium sulfite or sodium bisulfite, and organic carboxylic acid, antifoaming agent, and hard water softening agent as necessary. It can also be added.
[0128]
Examples of the developer containing such a surfactant, an organic solvent, a reducing agent, and the like include, for example, benzyl alcohol, anionic surfactants, alkali agents, and water described in JP-A No. 51-77401. A developer composition comprising an aqueous solution containing benzyl alcohol, an anionic surfactant, and a water-soluble sulfite described in JP-A-53-44202, JP-A-55-155355 And a developer composition containing an organic solvent having a solubility in water of 10% by weight or less at normal temperature, an alkaline agent, and water, and the like, which are also preferably used in the present invention.
[0129]
The printing plate developed using the developer and replenisher described above is post-treated with a desensitizing solution containing washing water, a rinsing solution containing a surfactant and the like, gum arabic and starch derivatives. As the post-treatment when the image recording material of the present invention is used as a printing plate, these treatments can be used in various combinations.
[0130]
In recent years, automatic developing machines for printing plate materials have been widely used in the plate making and printing industries in order to rationalize and standardize plate making operations. This automatic developing machine is generally composed of a developing unit and a post-processing unit, and includes an apparatus for conveying a printing plate material, processing liquid tanks and a spray device. Each processing liquid pumped up is sprayed from a spray nozzle for development processing. In addition, recently, a method is also known in which a printing plate material is immersed and conveyed in a processing liquid tank filled with a processing liquid by a submerged guide roll or the like. In such automatic processing, each processing solution can be processed while being supplemented with a replenisher according to the processing amount, operating time, and the like.
[0131]
In addition, a so-called disposable processing method in which processing is performed with a substantially unused processing solution is also applicable.
[0132]
The lithographic printing plate obtained as described above can be subjected to a printing process after applying a desensitized gum if desired. However, if it is desired to obtain a lithographic printing plate with a higher printing durability, a burning treatment is performed. Is given.
In the case of burning a lithographic printing plate, before burning, an adjustment as described in JP-B-61-2518, JP-A-55-28062, JP-A-62-31859, JP-A-61-159655 is used. It is preferable to treat with a surface liquid.
[0133]
As its method, with a sponge or absorbent cotton soaked with the surface-adjusting liquid, it is applied onto a lithographic printing plate, or a method in which the printing plate is immersed and applied in a vat filled with the surface-adjusting liquid, Application by an automatic coater is applied. Further, it is more preferable to make the coating amount uniform with a squeegee or a squeegee roller after coating.
In general, the amount of surface-adjusting solution applied is suitably 0.03 to 0.8 g / m 2 (dry weight).
[0134]
The lithographic printing plate coated with the surface-adjusting liquid is dried if necessary, and then heated to a high temperature with a burning processor (for example, burning processor BP-1300 sold by Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.). . The heating temperature and time in this case are preferably in the range of 180 to 300 ° C. and in the range of 1 to 20 minutes, although depending on the type of components forming the image.
[0135]
The lithographic printing plate that has been subjected to the burning treatment can be subjected to conventional treatments such as washing with water and gumming as needed, but a surface-conditioning solution containing a water-soluble polymer compound is used. In such a case, so-called desensitizing treatment such as gumming can be omitted.
[0136]
The lithographic printing plate obtained by such processing is applied to an offset printing machine or the like and used for printing a large number of sheets.

The obtained negative planographic printing plates [α-1] to [α-19] were subjected to scanning exposure with a semiconductor laser emitting infrared rays having a wavelength of about 830 to 850 nm. After the exposure, the film was heated with a panel heater at 110 ° C. for 15 seconds, and then developed with a developer manufactured by Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., DP-4 (1: 8 water dilution). The amount of energy required for recording was calculated based on the line width and laser output of the obtained image, the loss in the optical system, and the scanning speed.
[0158]
In order to examine the storage stability, the plate material before laser exposure was allowed to stand for 3 days under high humidity conditions (75% RH, 45 ° C.), and then the storage plate material under high humidity conditions was Similarly, laser exposure was performed, the amount of energy required for recording was calculated, and the difference in energy amount before and after aging was examined. It is preferable that the difference is substantially 20 mJ / cm 2 or less in production, and it is evaluated that the storage stability is good.
These results are shown together in Table 10.
[0159]
[Table 10]

[0160]
As is apparent from Table 10, all the planographic printing plates according to the present invention were recordable with an energy amount of 200 mJ / cm 2 or less, and were highly sensitive. In addition, the storage stability under high humidity conditions was also good.
[0161]
(Comparative Example 1)
In the solution [α] used in Examples 1 to 19, instead of the phenol derivative of the present invention, a compound [HR-1] having the following structure was used to prepare a solution [β-1]. This solution was applied to the precoated aluminum plate used in Examples 1 to 19, and dried at 100 ° C. for 1 minute to obtain a negative planographic printing plate [β-1]. The weight after drying was 1.4 g / m 2 . The obtained planographic printing plate [β-1] was image-formed in the same manner as in Examples 1-5. When the amount of energy required for recording at this time was calculated, an energy of 240 mJ / cm 2 was required. Similarly, when the energy of the plate material stored under the high humidity condition was calculated, the difference in energy amount before and after aging was 50 mJ / cm 2 , and the storage stability was extremely poor.

(Comparative Example 2)
In the solution [α] used in Examples 1 to 19, the solution [γ-1] was prepared by using [KZ-3] instead of the phenol derivative of the present invention. This solution was applied to the primed aluminum plate used in Examples 1 to 19, and dried at 100 ° C. for 1 minute to obtain a negative planographic printing plate [γ-1]. The weight after drying was 1.4 g / m 2 . The obtained planographic printing plate [γ-1] was image-formed in the same manner as in Examples 1-19. When the amount of energy required for recording at this time was calculated, a relatively good sensitivity of 180 mJ / cm 2 was shown. Next, looking at storage stability, the difference in energy amount before and after aging was 35 mJ / cm 2 , and it was found that the present invention is better in terms of storage stability.
[0164]
(Examples 20 to 25) and (Comparative Examples 3 to 7)
In the solutions [α] used in Examples 1 to 19, the phenol derivatives of Examples 20 to 25 in Table 2 were used, and a phenol novolak resin (weight average molecular weight 13) was used instead of [BP-1] as the binder polymer. ) Was used to prepare solutions [δ-1] to [δ-6]. Thereafter, evaluation was performed in the same manner as described above.
Next, in the same manner, the phenol derivatives were changed to KZ-1, KZ-3, KZ-4, KZ-8 and HR-1 represented by the following structures, respectively [ε-1] to [ε- 5], and these were evaluated as Comparative Examples 3 to 7 in the same manner as described above. The results are shown in Table 11.
