本発明は上記のような従来の問題点を解決して、優れた研磨力を有しており短時間で十分な研磨加工をすることができるとともに刃形状に沿って精度よく研磨加工することができ、また装置自体も小型で操作性に優れかつ安価に生産することができる包丁研磨装置を提供することを目的として完成されたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するためになされた本発明の包丁研磨装置は、被加工物である包丁を両側から弾発挟持して刃を上面側に垂直に立てた状態で保持するための左右一対の包丁保持部材を備えた載置台と、前記包丁の刃面を両側から弾発挟持しつつ回転して刃面を研磨加工する左右一対の研磨用砥石とを備えた包丁研磨装置であって、前記した包丁保持部材が、載置台上に先端の押付面との間に形成される包丁介入用の間隔がバネによって常時狭められる方向に弾発されるように対向してセットされた筒状ブラケットに包丁の中間両面を支える押圧子が立設されたものであることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、図面を参照しつつ本発明の好ましい実施の形態を示す。
図1は全体斜視図を示すものであって、図中20は被加工物である包丁、1は該包丁20の載置台であり、この載置台1には包丁20を両側から弾発挟持して刃を上面側に垂直に立てた状態で保持するための左右一対の包丁保持部材2、2が備えられ、また前記包丁20の刃面に対応する部分には刃面を両側から弾発挟持しつつ回転して刃面を研磨加工する左右一対の研磨用砥石3、3が設けられている。
なお、図示のものにおいては、前記包丁保持部材2を左右にそれぞれ2個ずつ配置し、また研磨用砥石3は左右に1個ずつ配置したものとしたが、これらの設置個数については任意に選択できるものである。また、図中4は研磨加工時に研磨処理促進用の水を滴下するためのバルブ4a付きのタンク、5は安全カバーである。

なお、該アタッチメント8bとしては、例えば図6に示されるように、外周面に折り返し部付きの案内溝8cを形成しておき、砥石3の軸に突設したピン8dと係合させることによりワンタッチで砥石3の着脱ができる構造を採用することができ、更には前記案内溝8cを連結部材8の外周面に直接設けた構造とすることも可能である。

また、前記のシャフト9は、例えばネジ切り棒のように回転により昇降動自在なもので、研磨砥石3を包丁20の刃面高さに応じて任意に調整可能とされており、更に該シャフト9を支持する支持板10が、図1に示されるように、ベース台11上を案内溝12aに従い左右方向へ移動することにより、包丁20の厚みに応じて左右一対の研磨用砥石3、3間の隙間を調整可能とされている。
なお、この研磨砥石3は、図3に示されるように、刃面の長手方向に対し回転中心をずらせて配置され精度の高い研磨処理が行えるよう構成されている。また、研磨砥石3を回動するモータ7には回転速度調整用のコンバータ13が接続され最適な研磨速度が得られるよう構成されている。

一方、前記の包丁保持部材2は、図4〜5に示されるように、載置台1にセットした筒状ブラケット14aに取り付けられたものであり、該筒状ブラケット14aをバネ14bを内蔵した筒状ブラケット14cに交換自在に挿着することにより適度な弾発保持力を奏し、かつ包丁20の厚みに応じて最適な弾発力を有する他の押圧部材と容易に交換できるよう構成されている。また、前記載置台1は、ベース台11上を案内溝12bに従い前後方向へ移動可能な受け台15上に支柱16を介して取り付けられており、該支柱16の基部がピン16aで枢着されることによって包丁の長手方向に対し回動自在とされている(図1参照)。
なお、図3に示されるように、前記載置台1にはストッパー17が取り付けられており、前方向への回転が制限されて研磨加工中における包丁20の前方側への倒れ込みを防止するよう構成されている。また、図示のものでは、包丁保持部材2とともに筒状ブラケット14aの端面部の双方で包丁20を保持しており、包丁20の保持をより確実なものとしている。

以上の説明からも明らかなように、本発明は優れた研磨力を有しており短時間で十分な研磨加工をすることができるとともに刃形状に沿って精度よく研磨加工することができ、また装置自体も小型で操作性に優れかつ安価に生産することができるものである。
よって本発明は従来の問題点を一掃した包丁研磨装置として、産業の発展に寄与するところは極めて大である。
