【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明はマルチボックス装置を用いたオンライン販売システムに関し、特にインターネットなどを利用してオンラインで販売或いはレンタルされた商品を、店舗側でマルチボックス装置に収納すると、マルチボックス装置から利用者に収納通知が送信され、収納通知を受信した利用者がマルチボックス装置に出向いて購入或いはレンタルした商品を無人で引き取ることを可能とする、マルチボックス装置を用いたオンライン販売システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
近年のインターネットの普及状況には目覚しいものがあり、インターネットを利用した各種商品のオンライン販売システムも構築されるようになってきている。一方、販売された商品の受け渡し形態としては、宅配便などを利用して自宅まで配送する方法などが一般的であるが、２４時間営業のコンビニエンスストアなどでの商品の受け渡しも行われるようになってきており、また、従来のコインロッカーを改良して無人で商品の受け渡しを可能とする手法も各種提案されるようになってきている。

このような、無人での商品受け渡しを可能とするロッカーの一例として、特開平９−２０１２７２号公報記載の「無店舗システムロッカー」が知られている。

この公報では、無店舗ロッカーとして、商品の収納ボックスに加えて操作部と表示器とを設け、会員番号などを入力することにより商品の引き受け及び引き渡しを実現する手法が記載されている。

また、インターネット商取り引きによる商品の受け渡しと代金の支払いを無人のコインロッカーで行う手法の一例として、特開２００１−１３４８３６号公報記載の「コインロッカー」が知られている。

この公報では、コインロッカーとしてコンピュータシステムを内蔵し、インターネットに接続が可能な上、代金投入口と各種カード挿入口を設け、商品の受け渡しと代金の支払いを無人で行う手法が記載されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、近年、商品の選択、購入或いはレンタル、及び商品の受け渡しの場面においても、購入者個人のプライバシーの尊重を求める気運がますます高まってきている。

一例として、購入或いはレンタルを希望する商品を選択する行為が、人目にさらされるということは、いつ誰が何を購入したということによって、その個人や家族などの生活の一部が連想できることから、このような状況をなるべく回避したい、ということが挙げられる。また、自分の選択した商品を他人と比較されたくないという場面や、人目に触れると恥ずかしいという商品を選択する場面もあり、このような場合にも、自己の選択した商品が、他人や店員或いは配送者などの目に触れることから回避したい、といった状況を挙げることも出来る。

一方、商品を販売する店舗側には、以下に示すような課題を有する店舗が多くなってきている。

個人商店や商店街については、営業時間が短く、店舗の有る地域性、或いは豊富な品揃えが出来ないなどの要因から、他の大型店など営業時間が長く品揃えの豊富な形態の店舗へ客足が流出する傾向にあり、コンビニエンスストアなどについては、いつでも利用し易い反面、在庫できる商品の種類に限界があり、生鮮食料品などに関する十分な取り扱いは出来ていない。また、無人で農作物や雑誌などが販売される販売ボックスも存在するが、設置場所の問題から集客力が落ちたり、商品の収納に出向く手間がかかること等から空きボックスが生じたり商品の回転率が悪くなってきたりしているものもある。さらに、オンライン販売を行う店舗であっても、商品の配送は翌日以降になってしまうことや、商品の受け渡し時に店員や配送者が介在するため上述の個人プライバシーが守られないなどにより、早急に商品を入手したい顧客や個人プライバシーを守りたい顧客を逃してしまう場面も多くなってきている。

このような状況を改善するための一対策としての、上述の特開平９−２０１２７２号公報記載の「無店舗システムロッカー」は、無人での商品受け渡しを可能とするロッカーであるが、オンライン販売システムとは接続できない。また、上述の特開２００１−１３４８３６号公報記載の「コインロッカー」は、近年普及してきている携帯端末によるオンライン販売に対応しているものではない。

本発明は、上述した事情を改善するために成されたものであり、本発明の目的は、携帯端末やパーソナルコンピュータなど、インターネットに接続可能な利用者端末からのオンライン販売を可能とすると共に、オンラインで販売或いはレンタルされた商品を、無人で利用者に受け渡すことを可能とする、マルチボックス装置を用いたオンライン販売システムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１に係る発明は、通信ネットワークとしてのインターネットと、前記インターネットに接続され前記インターネット上に商品の販売或いはレンタルを行う販売サイトを開設する販売装置と、前記インターネットに接続され前記販売サイトへのアクセス機能と電子メール送受信機能とから成るアクセス手段を備えた複数の利用者端末と、前記インターネットに接続され前記販売装置からの商品の販売或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報を受信すると共に、前記取引情報に関わる商品を収納可能な複数の収納部を備えた物品収納装置と、から成るオンライン販売システムであって、前記物品収納装置は、前記販売装置の開設する前記販売サイトからの取引情報を受信して表示すると共に、前記取引情報に記載の商品が何れかの前記収納部に収納されると、該商品の収納通知を前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に通知し、前記収納通知に記載の該商品に関する商品取出し指示情報を入力されると該商品の収納されている該収納部の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせ、
前記物品収納装置は、正面と背面の両面に自動錠付扉を備えた収納部を複数備え、さらに、インターネットや携帯端末と接続するための通信手段と、前記通信手段に接続され、前記通信手段から物品の取引情報を受信すると共に、前記物品の収納指示情報を受信すると何れかの前記収納部の背面の自動錠付扉を開閉して前記物品を前記収納部に収納させて施錠し、前記物品の取出し指示情報を受信すると前記物品が収納されている何れかの前記収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して前記物品を取り出すことを可能とさせる情報処理手段と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記取出し指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の正面に備えられる第１の入力操作表示部と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記収納指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の背面に備えられる第２の入力操作表示部と、を備えるマルチボックス装置であり、
商品の購入或いはレンタルを希望する利用者は、利用者の利用者端末から販売サイトへアクセスして商品の検索を行い、希望する商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行うと、前記販売サイトから該商品の購入或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報が前記マルチボックス装置に送信され、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報を受信すると第２の入力操作表示部に前記取引情報を表示し、前記取引情報を閲覧した係員が前記取引情報に記載の商品識別コードを、前記第２の入力操作表示部への入力操作により入力すると、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の収納指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置の未使用の何れかの収納部の背面の自動錠付扉が開かれ、該収納部に該商品を収納して施錠すると、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に対して該商品の収納通知を送信し、前記利用者端末によって前記収納通知を閲覧した前記利用者が前記マルチボックス装置の第１の入力操作表示部から、前記利用者の会員番号、会員パスワード及び該商品の商品識別コードを入力し、該商品の料金決済が未決済である場合には更に前記第１の入力操作部への現金投入或いはクレジットカードの読み取りによる料金決済を行うと、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の取出し指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置は該商品が収納されている収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせる、ことを特徴とするオンライン販売システムである。

請求項２に係る発明は、請求項１に記載のオンライン販売システムであって、前記マルチボックス装置の前記通信手段は、一般加入回線網と接続するための一般加入回線接続部と、移動体通信網と接続するための移動体通信回線接続部と、携帯端末と接続するための携帯端末接続部と、から構成され、前記第１の入力操作表示部は、前記取出し指示情報を発生させるための会員番号、会員パスワード、物品識別コードなどのデータを入力するためのテンキーと、前記マルチボックス装置の前記収納部から取り出す物品の料金決済を行うための料金決済部と、前記テンキーから入力したデータや前記料金決済部が出力する料金データなどを表示する表示部と、から構成され、前記第２の入力操作表示部は、前記収納指示情報を発生させるためのデータや前記マルチボックス装置の動作状況の監視や制御のためのデータを入力するためのキー入力装置と、前記情報処理手段が受信した物品の取引情報や前記マルチボックス装置の動作状況を表示する表示装置と、から構成されるものである。

前記物品収納装置は、正面と背面の両面に自動錠付扉を備えた収納部を複数備え、さらに、インターネットや携帯端末と接続するための通信手段と、前記通信手段に接続され、前記通信手段から物品の取引情報を受信すると共に、前記物品の収納指示情報を受信すると何れかの前記収納部の背面の自動錠付扉を開閉して前記物品を前記収納部に収納させて施錠し、前記物品の取出し指示情報を受信すると前記物品が収納されている何れかの前記収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して前記物品を取り出すことを可能とさせる情報処理手段と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記取出し指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の正面に備えられる第１の入力操作表示部と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記収納指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の背面に備えられる第２の入力操作表示部と、を備えるマルチボックス装置であり、
商品の購入或いはレンタルを希望する利用者は、利用者の利用者端末から販売サイトへアクセスして商品の検索を行い、希望する商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行うと、前記販売サイトから該商品の購入或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報が前記マルチボックス装置に送信され、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報を受信すると第２の入力操作表示部に前記取引情報を表示し、前記取引情報を閲覧した係員が前記取引情報に記載の商品識別コードを、前記第２の入力操作表示部への入力操作により入力すると、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の収納指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置の未使用の何れかの収納部の背面の自動錠付扉が開かれ、該収納部に該商品を収納して施錠すると、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に対して該商品の収納通知を送信し、前記利用者端末によって前記収納通知を閲覧した前記利用者が、前記収納通知を記憶した前記利用者端末を前記マルチボックス装置の通信手段に接続することにより、前記マルチボックス装置に対して前記利用者の会員番号、会員パスワード及び該商品の商品識別コードを入力し、該商品の料金決済が未決済である場合には更に第１の入力操作部への現金投入或いはクレジットカードの読み取りによる料金決済を行うと、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の取出し指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置は該商品が収納されている収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせる、ことを特徴とするオンライン販売システムである。

請求項５に係る発明は、請求項１から請求項４の何れか１項に記載のオンライン販売システムであって、前記取引情報は、購入或いはレンタルの成約が成された商品を一意に識別可能な商品識別コードと、該商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行った利用者の会員番号と利用者端末アドレスと、該商品の料金決済が成されたか否かを示す料金決済情報と、を少なくとも含み、前記収納通知は、商品を収納したマルチボックス装置を一意に識別可能なマルチボックス装置コードと、前記商品識別コードと、前記料金決済情報と、を少なくとも含む、ものである。

請求項６に係る発明は、通信ネットワークとしてのインターネットと、前記インターネットに接続され前記インターネット上に商品の販売或いはレンタルを行う販売サイトを開設する販売装置と、前記インターネットに接続され前記販売サイトへのアクセス機能と電子メール送受信機能とから成るアクセス手段を備えた複数の利用者端末と、前記インターネットに接続され前記販売装置からの商品の販売或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報を受信すると共に、前記取引情報に関わる商品を収納可能な複数の収納部を備えた物品収納装置と、から成るオンライン販売システムであって、前記物品収納装置は、前記販売装置の開設する前記販売サイトからの取引情報を受信して表示すると共に、前記取引情報に記載の商品が何れかの前記収納部に収納されると、該商品の収納通知を前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に通知し、前記収納通知に記載の該商品に関する商品取出し指示情報を入力されると該商品の収納されている該収納部の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせ、
前記物品収納装置は、正面に自動錠付扉を備えた収納部を複数備え、さらに、インターネットや携帯端末と接続するための通信手段と、前記通信手段に接続され、前記通信手段から物品の取引情報を受信すると共に、前記物品の収納指示情報を受信すると何れかの前記収納部の自動錠付扉を開閉して前記物品を前記収納部に収納させて施錠し、前記物品の取出し指示情報を受信すると前記物品が収納されている何れかの前記収納部の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して前記物品を取り出すことを可能とさせる情報処理手段と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記取出し指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の正面に備えられる第１の入力操作部と、前記情報処理手段に接続され、前記収納指示情報を発生させるための前記物品収納装置の正面に備えられる第２の入力操作表示部と、を備えるマルチボックス装置である、ことを特徴とするオンライン販売システムである。

請求項８に係る発明は、請求項６或いは請求項７の何れか１項に記載のオンライン販売システムであって、商品の購入或いはレンタルを希望する利用者は、利用者の利用者端末から販売サイトへアクセスして商品の検索を行い、希望する商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行うと、前記販売サイトから該商品の購入或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報が前記マルチボックス装置に送信され、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報を受信すると第２の入力操作表示部に前記取引情報を表示し、前記取引情報を閲覧した係員が前記取引情報に記載の商品識別コードを、前記第２の入力操作表示部への入力操作により入力すると、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の収納指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置の未使用の何れかの収納部の正面の自動錠付扉が開かれ、該収納部に該商品を収納して施錠すると、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に対して該商品の収納通知を送信し、前記利用者端末によって前記収納通知を閲覧した前記利用者が前記マルチボックス装置の第１の入力操作表示部から、前記利用者の会員番号、会員パスワード及び該商品の商品識別コードを入力し、該商品の料金決済が未決済である場合には更に前記第１の入力操作部への現金投入或いはクレジットカードの読み取りによる料金決済を行うと、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の取出し指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置は該商品が収納されている収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせる、ものである。

請求項９に係る発明は、請求項６或いは請求項７の何れか１項に記載のオンライン販売システムであって、商品の購入或いはレンタルを希望する利用者は、利用者の利用者端末から販売サイトへアクセスして商品の検索を行い、希望する商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行うと、前記販売サイトから該商品の購入或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報が前記マルチボックス装置に送信され、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報を受信すると第２の入力操作表示部に前記取引情報を表示し、前記取引情報を閲覧した係員が前記取引情報に記載の商品識別コードを、前記第２の入力操作表示部への入力操作により入力すると、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の収納指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置の未使用の何れかの収納部の正面の自動錠付扉が開かれ、該収納部に該商品を収納して施錠すると、前記マルチボックス装置は前記取引情報に記載の利用者端末に対して該商品の収納通知を送信し、前記利用者端末によって前記収納通知を閲覧した前記利用者が、前記収納通知を記憶した前記利用者端末を前記マルチボックス装置の通信手段に接続することにより、前記マルチボックス装置に対して前記利用者の会員番号、会員パスワード及び該商品の商品識別コードを入力し、該商品の料金決済が未決済である場合には更に第１の入力操作部への現金投入或いはクレジットカードの読み取りによる料金決済を行うと、前記マルチボックス装置の情報処理手段に該商品の取出し指示情報が入力され、前記マルチボックス装置は該商品が収納されている収納部の正面の自動錠付扉の施錠を解除して該商品の取り出しを可能とさせる、ものである。

請求項１０に係る発明は、請求項８或いは請求項９の何れか１項に記載のオンライン販売システムであって、前記取引情報は、購入或いはレンタルの成約が成された商品を一意に識別可能な商品識別コードと、該商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行った利用者の会員番号と利用者端末アドレスと、該商品の料金決済が成されたか否かを示す料金決済情報と、を少なくとも含み、前記収納通知は、商品を収納したマルチボックス装置を一意に識別可能なマルチボックス装置コードと、前記商品識別コードと、前記料金決済情報と、を少なくとも含む、ものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。

図１は、本発明のマルチボックス装置を用いたオンライン販売システムの一実施形態を示すブロック図である。

図１に示す本実施の形態は、通信ネットワークとしてのインターネット５００と、インターネット５００に接続されインターネット５００上に商品の販売或いはレンタルを行う販売サイト２００を開設する販売装置２５０と、インターネット５００に接続され販売サイト２００へのアクセス機能と電子メール送受信機能とから成るアクセス手段を備えた複数の利用者端末３００と、インターネット５００に接続され販売装置２５０の販売サイト２００からの商品の販売或いはレンタルの成約を示す取引情報６００を受信すると共に、取引情報６００に関わる商品を収納可能な複数の収納部（収納ボックス）を備えたマルチボックス装置１００と、インターネット５００に接続され販売装置２５０の販売サイト２００が商品を販売或いはレンタルしたときの料金の決済をクレジットカードで行うためのクレジットカード決済機関４００と、から構成されている。

マルチボックス装置１００は、販売サイト２００が販売或いはレンタルする商品そのものを実際に取り扱う店舗１５０内に設置されており、また、マルチボックス装置１００にて商品の料金決済をクレジットカードで行う場合に備えて、クレジットカード決済機関４００とインターネット５００を介して接続されている。

販売装置２５０は、ワークステーション・サーバ等の情報処理装置によって構成され、ＷＷＷサーバ（ＷｏｒｌｄＷｉｄｅＷｅｂｓｅｒｖｅｒ）としての機能を有し、インターネット５００上に販売サイト２００を開設する。販売サイト２００では、店舗１５０で取り扱っている商品を全てＷＷＷによってオンラインで検索・閲覧することが可能であり、希望する商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約を行うことが可能となっている。また、商品の購入或いはレンタルの契約が行われた場合に、その料金をクレジットカードで決済することを可能とするために、クレジットカード決済機関４００とインターネット５００を介して接続されている。

利用者端末３００は、本システムによって商品の購入或いはレンタルを希望する利用者３５０が使用する端末装置である。利用者端末３００は、インターネット５００上の販売サイト２００へのアクセス機能（例えばＷＷＷブラウザ（ＷｏｒｌｄＷｉｄｅＷｅｂｂｒｏｗｓｅｒ）などにより実現される。）と電子メール送受信機能とから成るアクセス手段を備えた端末装置であり、パーソナルコンピュータや、携帯端末としてのノートパソコン、携帯電話、ＰＨＳ（ＰｅｒｓｏｎａｌＨａｎｄｙｐｈｏｎｅＳｙｓｔｅｍ）端末、ＰＤＡ（ＰｅｒｓｏｎａｌＤｉｇｉｔａｌＡｓｓｉｓｔａｎｃｅ）、などである。利用者端末３００が携帯端末である場合には、該携帯端末に、他の電子機器との通信機能、例えば、他の電子機器への接続コネクタや、或いは、赤外線を利用するＩｒＤＡ（ｉｎｆｒａｒｅｄｄａｔａａｓｓｏｃｉａｔｉｏｎ）規格による近距離無線通信部或いは指向性のない無線方式であるＢｌｕｅｔｏｏｔｈ規格による近距離無線通信部、が備えられている。但し、該携帯端末に備えられる他の電子機器との通信機能は、本システムをより便利に使用可能とするものであるため、これを備えていない携帯端末であっても良い。

マルチボックス装置１００は、商品を収納可能な収納部（収納ボックス）を複数備えた商品収納装置であり、各収納部は正面側と背面側の両面に自動錠付扉を備えている。そして、店舗１５０の係員が背面側の自動錠付扉を開閉して商品を収納部に収納することが可能で、該商品を該収納部から取り出したい利用者３５０は、該収納部の正面側の自動錠付扉を開いて該商品を取り出せるよう構成されている。
