【0001】
Ptmp=c×Vs+d×Vk+f
P=Ptmp+e×CG

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a gas pressure measuring method and apparatus capable of measuring a gas pressure in a gas filled device such as a gas filled relay switch.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, there is a device that generates a discharge by applying a high voltage between a pair of electrodes, and detects a gas pressure abnormality, measures a gas pressure, or performs an insulation diagnosis based on the discharge voltage of the generated discharge ( For example, JP-A-55-160832, JP-A-3-37538, JP-A-7-151812.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Since these conventional devices are preconditions that the electrode interval is constant, when measuring the gas pressure of a device (for example, a gas-filled switch) having a mass-produced electrode, There is a problem that the measurement accuracy of the gas pressure is deteriorated due to the influence of the variation in the electrode interval caused by the assembly accuracy. In particular, the gas pressure of the gas enclosure switch such as the gas-enclosed relay switch in which the electrode interval fluctuates is reduced. It is difficult to measure with high accuracy.
[0004]
In addition, the gas pressure of the gas-filled switch of the above example cannot reach the initial purpose below the set gas pressure range, and if the set pressure range is exceeded, the durability of the components of the switch and its structure will be exceeded. Therefore, in the inspection at the time of shipment from the factory, it is required to measure the gas pressure with high accuracy as to whether or not the enclosed gas pressure is within the set pressure range.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to be able to measure the sealed gas pressure with high accuracy for a gas-filled device with variations in electrode spacing or a gas-filled device with varying electrode spacing.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a gas pressure measurement in which a high voltage is applied between a pair of electrodes to generate a discharge to obtain a discharge voltage, and a gas pressure is calculated based on the discharge voltage, and a capacitance between the electrodes The electrode interval is calculated from this capacitance, and the gas pressure is calculated from the discharge voltage and the electrode interval.
[0007]
As described above, by calculating the electrode interval and calculating the gas pressure from the electrode interval and the discharge voltage, even if there is a variation between the electrodes in the gas-filled device, the electrode interval varies. However, since the measurement is performed in consideration of the distance between the electrodes, the gas pressure can be calculated with high accuracy without erroneous measurement due to the actual condition between the electrodes.
Further, the electrode interval can be easily calculated from the capacitance by obtaining the capacitance between the electrodes.
[0008]
The above-described calculation of the electrode interval can be calculated by substituting into a previously calculated calculation formula. Alternatively, an electrode interval table obtained in advance for each level of capacitance may be used.
[0009]
Furthermore, the calculation of the gas pressure based on the discharge voltage and the electrode spacing described above can also be calculated by substituting it into a previously calculated calculation formula. Further, a gas pressure table obtained in advance for each level of the discharge voltage may be used.
[0010]
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the high voltage applied between the electrodes is changed to a high DC voltage to obtain a discharge start voltage, or after a discharge occurs, a constant high DC voltage is applied to maintain the discharge. Obtain the discharge sustain voltage, or obtain both of these voltages, and obtain the gas pressure from the obtained discharge start voltage and electrode interval, from the discharge sustain voltage and electrode interval, or from the discharge start voltage and discharge sustain voltage and electrode interval Is calculated.
[0011]
That is, the gas pressure can be calculated from any one of the discharge start voltage and the discharge sustain voltage and the electrode interval. For example, a high voltage that rises is applied to generate a discharge to obtain the discharge start voltage, and then start the discharge. As a method of calculating the gas pressure from the voltage and the electrode interval, a constant DC high voltage is applied to maintain the discharge to obtain the discharge sustain voltage, and the gas pressure is calculated from the discharge sustain voltage and the electrode interval. You may do it.
[0012]
The above-described rising DC high voltage may be constant, multi-step, or an arbitrary rising waveform. For example, when the discharge start voltage can be predicted to be relatively high, the voltage may be rapidly increased to a voltage value or less and then a gradually increasing voltage may be applied.
[0013]
The constant DC high voltage described above may be higher or lower than the discharge start voltage as long as it is higher than the discharge sustaining voltage. Moreover, it is not necessary to determine as a predetermined voltage value, and it may vary depending on the gas pressure of the gas-filled device. Moreover, the DC high voltage to be applied may be any of positive polarity, negative polarity, and both positive and negative polarities.
[0014]
The above-described calculation of the gas pressure based on the discharge start voltage, the discharge sustaining voltage, and the electrode spacing can be calculated by substituting into a previously calculated calculation formula. The calculation formula can be calculated directly from the value based on the discharge start voltage, the discharge sustain voltage and the electrode interval, or the pressure at the reference electrode interval is calculated from the discharge start voltage and the discharge sustain voltage, and the measured electrode interval is calculated. It is good also as a system which correct | amends to the gas pressure in. Further, a method of using a gas pressure table obtained in advance for each level of the discharge start voltage, the discharge sustain voltage, and the electrode interval may be used without using the calculation formula.
[0015]
Moreover, the order of measuring the discharge start voltage, the discharge sustain voltage, and the electrode interval may be any order.
[0016]
Further, by repeatedly applying / stopping the DC voltage to the electrode, the discharge is repeated at least twice, and the value of the discharge start voltage after the second time or the average value thereof, or the discharge sustain voltage after the second time The value, or an average value thereof, can be used as the value of the discharge start voltage and the discharge sustain voltage. In this case, the effect of electrode surface contamination due to the first discharge conditioning effect is reduced, and stable discharge occurs due to stabilization of the electrode surface temperature and formation of a discharge path between the electrodes. Measurement accuracy is further improved by measuring the gas pressure with the discharge voltage data.

[0037]
As shown in FIG. 3, the occurrence of discharge is detected by detecting the fall of the discharge voltage waveform described above, and this peak value is set as the discharge start voltage Vs.
After the occurrence of the discharge, the discharge is maintained with the DC high voltage to be applied as a constant voltage, a discharge sustain voltage waveform is obtained, and the average value thereof is set as the discharge sustain voltage Vk.
The voltage application is stopped after a lapse of a certain time from the start of application of the DC high voltage. The constant DC high voltage value was a voltage value obtained by adding a certain value to the discharge start voltage.

Discharge occurs at a discharge start voltage Vs corresponding to gas pressure P × electrode spacing CG.

The measurement control
[0047]
After the occurrence of discharge, the measurement control
In this example, a reference electrode interval is set, and a reference gas pressure Ptmp is determined based on the reference electrode interval, the discharge start voltage Vs, and the discharge sustaining voltage Vk. Ptmp = c × Vs + d × Vk + f
And is calculated by substituting (step n5).
[0048]
Next, the gas pressure P corrected by the acquired actual electrode interval CG is set to P = Ptmp + e × CG
(Step n6).
[0049]
FIG. 7 shows the relationship between the measurement accuracy of the gas pressure P measured in this way, the variation in the electrode interval CG, and the presence or absence of electrode interval correction.
As is apparent from FIG. 7, when correction is not made with the electrode interval CG, the calculation formula (formula 2) of the gas pressure P is an equation in which the center value is substituted into the electrode interval CG. For this reason, the measurement error of the gas pressure P increases as the electrode interval CG deviates from the center value.
On the other hand, when the electrode interval CG to be measured is acquired and the correction term is added to the calculation formula of the gas pressure P by the measurement value, the measurement accuracy of the gas pressure P is improved, and even when the electrode interval varies, The gas pressure P can be measured with high accuracy.
[0050]
In the measurement example described above, the electrode spacing CG is acquired in Steps n1 and n2, and then the discharge voltages Vs and Vk are acquired in Steps n3 and n4. However, these acquisitions may be reversed.
[0051]
In the above measurement example, the DC high voltage is applied only once. However, as another measurement example, the application and stop of the DC high voltage to the electrode is repeated at least twice or more. The gas pressure P can be measured by discharging, obtaining the average value of the discharge starting voltage Vs for the second and subsequent times, and the average value of the sustaining voltage Vk and substituting them into the calculation formula (Formula 2).
[0052]
FIG. 8 shows the relationship between the discharge start voltage obtained by generating the discharge five times and the number of repeated discharges. The first discharge start voltage Vs varies greatly in the obtained value due to the discharge from the non-discharge state and the influence of contamination on the electrode surface due to the combination.
[0053]
However, since the second and subsequent discharges are repeated discharges at regular intervals, stabilization of the electrode surface and formation of an interelectrode discharge path occur, and the electrode surface conditioning effect due to the first discharge causes the surface of the electrode to Since the influence of dirt is reduced, the variation in the discharge start voltage is reduced and stabilized. Therefore, the measurement accuracy of the gas pressure P is further improved by using the value of any number of times after the second time or the average value thereof as the discharge start voltage Vs.
[0054]
Furthermore, also in the discharge sustain voltage Vk, as in the case of the above-described discharge start voltage Vs, since the acquired value after the second time is stable, the discharge sustain voltage after the second time is used as the acquired value. These average values may be obtained values. However, since the effect is smaller than the case of the discharge start voltage Vs, the average value may be an average value including the first time.
