本発明は発音玩具に関するものである。

従来、複数の楽曲を記憶し、ユーザの選択によって、所定の楽曲を演奏するように設定された玩具が知られている。

しかしながら、上記した従来の玩具では、複数の発音玩具に異なる音を出力させて全体として調和の取れた楽曲を演奏できるものはなかった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1記載の発音玩具は、次の(1)〜(5)の構成を備えている。
(1)所定の曲目に関する主旋律データ、主旋律用音データ及び副旋律データと、他の曲目又は他の曲目に関する副旋律用音データとを記憶する。
(2)前記主旋律データ及び前記主旋律用音データに基づく主旋律音を出力可能となっている。
(3)前記副旋律データを他の発音玩具に対して送信可能となっている。
(4)他の発音玩具からの副旋律データを受け取った際に該副旋律データとそれに対応する前記副旋律用音データとに基づく副旋律音を出力可能となっている。
(5)前記主旋律音と前記副旋律音の出力が選択的に行われる。

この発音玩具1は、人形10と、この人形10を起立させる土台部20とを備える。

人形10は、図1の正面図に示すように、胴体11と、この胴体11の前後方向に揺動可能に設けられる左右一対の腕部12と、胴体11に揺動可能に設けられる頭部13と、左右一対の脚部14とから構成される。この人形10は、一対の脚部14によって土台部20に起立している。

図2は、人形10の腕部12と頭部13の動作状態を示した図であり、腕部12は上下に、頭部13は左右に揺動する(図1参照)。この揺動のための機構はカム、リンク機構その他の既存の機構が使用される。そのため、その詳しい説明は省略する。

また、土台部20にはスピーカ25が設けられている。

記憶部40のうちのROM41には楽曲データテーブル及び副旋律用音データテーブルが格納されている。このうち楽曲データテーブルは、複数の曲目に関する主旋律データ、主旋律用音データ及び副旋律データで構成されている。この場合の副旋律データとしては、各曲目に対応して2種の副旋律データが用意されている。1つはベース音用の副旋律データであり、他の1つはコーラス音用の副旋律データである。一方、副旋律用音データテーブルは、他の複数の曲目に関する副旋律用音データで構成されている。ここで「他の複数の曲目に関する副旋律用音データ」とは別の発音玩具2、3に記憶されている曲目に関する副旋律用音データである。この場合の副旋律用音データとしては、各曲目に対応して2種の副旋律用音データが用意されている。1つはベース音用の副旋律用音データであり、他の1つはコーラス音用の副旋律用音データである。
なお、「主旋律データ」とは、主となる楽音の高低変化とリズムに関するもの、「主旋律用音データ」とは、主旋律と組み合わせて1つの音楽とする音の強さ、高低、音色に関するもの、「副旋律データ」とは、副となる楽音の高低変化とリズムに関するものまたはリズムのみに関するもの、「副旋律用音データ」とは、副旋律と組み合わせて1つの音楽とする音の強さ、高低、音色に関するものである。

また、同図に示すCPUは、図5のフローチャートに示すように、入力端子23aにコード24が接続されていない場合には、セレクトボタン21およびスタート/ストップボタン22が押し下げられたことを条件に、主旋律データ及び主旋律用音データをROM41から読み出し、主旋律データ及び主旋律用音データに基づく主旋律音をスピーカ25から出力させる。一方で、この場合、出力端子23bにコード24を介して他の発音玩具が接続されている場合には、ベース音用の副旋律データとコーラス音用の副旋律データとをコード24を介して他の発音玩具に向けて出力する。
またさらに、CPUは、図5のフローチャートに示すように、入力端子23aにコード24を介して他の発音玩具が接続され、しかも、出力端子23bにもコード24を介して他の発音玩具が接続されている場合には、入力側にある発音玩具からベース音用の副旋律データを取得したとき、その副旋律データに対応したベース音用の副旋律用音データを記憶部41から読み出し、その副旋律データ及び副旋律用音データに基づくベース音をスピーカ25から出力させる。
さらに、CPUは、図5のフローチャートに示すように、入力端子23aにコード24を介して他の発音玩具が接続されるが、出力端子23bにコード24が接続されていない場合には、入力側の発音玩具からコーラス音用の副旋律データを取得したとき、その副旋律データに対応したコーラス音用の副旋律用音データを記憶部41から読み出し、その副旋律データ及び副旋律用音データに基づくコーラス音をスピーカ25から出力させる。
なお、音出力の間、CPUはモータ等を制御して腕部12を上下に、頭部13を左右に動作させる。

一方、CPUによってその曲目の副旋律データも呼び出され、その副旋律データは発音玩具1からコード24を介して発音玩具2,3に向けて送信される。この送信は前記主旋律音の出力前に行われる。また、この場合の副旋律データの送信の際には、図7に示すようにヘッダが付され、特に限定はされないが、そのヘッダに連なる最初の5ビットがベース音用の副旋律データ、次の5ビットがコーラス音用の副旋律データとされる。そして、この副旋律データのうちのベース音用の副旋律データは発音玩具2が取得し、一方、コーラス音用の副旋律データは発音玩具3が取得する。そうして、発音玩具2ではベース音用の副旋律データに対応する副旋律用音データが読み出され、その副旋律データおよび副旋律用音データに基づくベース音(例えばボンボンという音)が出力される。一方、発音玩具3ではコーラス音用の副旋律データに対応する副旋律用音データが読み出され、その副旋律データおよび副旋律用音データに基づくコーラス音(例えばランランという音)が出力される。

なお、主旋律音、ベース音及びコーラス音の出力は同期して行われることが好ましい。また、音出力の間、より正確に言えば、楽曲が演奏されている間、発音玩具1、2,3の腕部12及び頭部13が動作する。
