本発明は、微量血液採取キットに関する。さらに詳しくは、感染症診断の際に血液を採取し、判定用診断キットのサンプルウェルに滴下するまでの操作を行う微量血液採取キットに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来は、微量の血液を採取するための専用キットはなく、つぎのようにして行われていた。
まず、脱脂綿をピンセットでつまんで、人体のわずかに出血させた部位に押し当てて血液を脱脂綿に吸収させ、その脱脂綿を溶解液に入れて血液を溶解する。ついで、溶解された血液検体をピペットまたはスポイトで分取し、B、C型肝炎、HIVなど、それぞれの判定用診断キットのサンプルウェルに滴下して、判定する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の方法で、一つの感染症を診断する場合は、とくに問題がないが、複数の感染症を診断する場合、または必要検体液量を確保する場合等では、何度か検体液を滴下する間に、検体液を漏らす心配がある。

本発明はかかる事情に鑑み、複数回血液を滴下判定する間に血液を漏らすような不都合がなく、手軽に複数回に分けて血液を滴下できるようにした操作性の良好な微量血液採取キットを提供することを目的とする。
また、本発明は、判定精度を向上させるため、検体採取量と滴下量の定量性を確保し、かつ衛生的に採取滴下できるようにした微量血液採取キットを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の微量血液採取キットは、先端に吸液体を備えた採取棒と、溶解液が収容されており、先端に滴下孔を有するスポイト筒と、該スポイト筒の基端に着脱自在に取り付けられる可撓性のキャップとからなるスポイトと、前記スポイトのスポイト筒を収容して立てておくスポイトスタンドとからなり、前記スポイトは前記採取棒を内部に保持できるようにしたことを特徴とする。
請求項2の微量血液採取キットは、前記採取棒が、棒体の中間部にフランジを備えており、前記スポイトが、スポイト筒とスポイトキャップの間に前記採取棒のフランジを挾持し、かつその状態で採取棒の吸液体がスポイト筒内の溶解液に漬けられるようになっていることを特徴とする。
請求項3の微量血液採取キットは、前記採取棒の吸液体が、多孔質高分子材料製であることを特徴とする。
請求項4の微量血液採取キットは、前記多孔質高分子材料が親水化されたポリエチレンの焼結体であることを特徴とする。

請求項1の発明による操作方法はつぎのとおりである。まず、採取棒の吸液体を人体のわずかに出血させた部位に押し当てて吸液体に血液を吸収し、その採取棒をスポイトの内部に入れて溶解液に血液を溶解させる。ついで、種々の診断の度に、スポイトをスポイトスタンドから取り出し、キャップをつまんでスポイト筒内の溶解された検体血液を検査器具等に滴下させる。そして、複数種の検査をするときは、スポイトスタンドに立てているスポイトをそのつど取り出し、キャップをつまんで検体血液を滴下させる操作を、必要回数だけ繰り返せばよい。また、滴下しないときは、スポイトをスポイトスタンドに立てておけば、検体血液がスポイトから漏れ出すことはない。よって、操作性が向上する。そして、雑菌がスポイト中に入らないので衛生的である。
請求項2の発明によれば、採取棒のフランジをスポイト筒とキャップで挟んでおくと、スポイト筒内で採取棒を固定できるので、使用中安定して置いておけ、その間に採取血液を溶解液で溶解できるので、操作性が良い。
請求項3の発明によれば、多孔質高分子材料の孔の容積によって、液体吸収量が決まるので、血液検体の定量性が向上する
請求項4の発明によれば、親水化されたポリエチレンの焼結体の多孔質材料の孔の容積が極めて均一であるので、液体吸収量の定量性がより向上する。

【発明の実施の形態】
つぎに、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づき説明する。
図1は本発明の一実施形態に係る微量血液採取キットの断面図、図2は微量血液採取キットの診断中における保管状態を示す断面図、図3は微量血液採取キットの診断中における滴下操作の説明図である。

図1の(A)図は採取棒1を示しており、棒体の先端(図中下端)に吸液体2が取り付けられ、中間部にフランジ3が形成され、基端部(図中上端部)がつまみ4となっている。
前記吸液体2は、毛細管現象で血液を吸引するもので、親水性のある多孔質高分子材料が用いられる。この多孔質高分子材料としては、ポリエチレンの焼結体を親水性処理したものや親水性ポリエステル、ポリアシドの焼結体が好適である。

これらの多孔質高分子材料の吸液体2は、直径1μ〜 100μ程度の空洞が選択的に形成され、その気孔率は、 0.2〜 0.7程度に調節可能であり、毛細管現象により血液を吸収保持する。気孔率は次式で定義され、吸液体の空隙率に相当するものであり、血液保持能力と関係する。

本発明で好適に用いられる親水化処理されたポリエチレン製吸液体2では、気孔率約40%で約60%前後の血液保持能力を示す。
一定の気孔率を有する吸液体2の体積を適当に選定すること、体積一定の吸液体2の気孔率を適当に選定することで、吸液量を一定にコントロールすることができる。通常、吸液量は、10〜 100μlで良いので、気孔率40%の吸液体2を用いた場合の吸液体2の体積は、0.03〜0.30cm3 位である。

なお、ポリエチレン製吸液体2の具体例として下記が例示できる。

前記採取棒1の棒体の材料は、とくに限定されないが、例えばポリエチレンやポリプロピレン、ABS樹脂などの合成樹脂が用いられる。
前記フランジ3には、後述するスポイトを機能させるため、通気孔3aが形成されている。

図1の(B)図は、スポイト5とスポイトスタンド20を示している。スポイト5は、スポイト筒6とキャップ10とから構成されている。
前記スポイト筒6は、円筒形の筒体の先端部がしだいに細くなり、先端に滴下孔7が形成されており、筒体の基端部外周には雄ネジ8が形成されている。そして、このスポイト筒6内には、生理食塩水、電解液、蒸留水など(防腐剤や、凝固防止剤を含んでいてもよい)の溶解液Qが20μl〜3cc位入れられている。なお、前記滴下孔7は、内径が 0.1〜3mm位で、内部の溶解液Qが自然に漏れ出すことはない。溶解液Qの容量からいって、スポイト筒6の大きさは、長さが5〜10cm、直径が5〜20mm程度でよい。また、スポイト筒6の材質は透明性を有するものであればよく、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステルなどが採用される。

前記キャップ10は、可撓性材料、例えばゴム製のキャップ部11とそれに連なる嵌合部12とからなり、嵌合部12の内周には雌ネジ13が形成されている。したがって、キャップ10の雌ネジ13をスポイト筒6の雄ネジ8に螺合させると、キャップ10をスポイト筒6に着脱自在に取り付けることができる。
キャップ10のキャップ部11は可撓性を有しているので、指でつまむと撓んで、内部の空気を押し出すことができる。このため、スポイト筒6にキャップ10を取り付けると、公知のスポイトとして使用することができる。

前記スポイトスタンド20は、スポイト5のスポイト筒6を緩く挿入して立てておく器具である。図示の例では、円筒状のスタンド20の内壁にリブ21が形成されているが、これは、スポイト5を挿入抜去自在に保持できれば、どのようなものでもよい。底部には突起22が形成されているが、これはスポイト筒6の滴下孔7に挿入され、これを閉鎖するために設けられている。
前記スポイトスタンド20の材質は、とくに限定するものでないが、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ABS樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニルなどが用いられる。

つぎに、本実施形態の微量血液採取キットの使用方法を説明する。
使用前の状態では、図1のように採取棒1とスポイト5は別々に保管しておかれ、スポイト5には溶解液が注入され、スポイトスタンド20に収容されている。
用時には、人体の出血させた部位(耳たぶ、歯ぐき、など)に採取棒1の吸液体2を押し当てて、血液を吸収する。この場合、吸液体2全体が血液色に染まるか、あるいは、所定の部位(例えば、先端から2mmの所までなど)まで染まると、採取を止めれば、正確に所望の血液量を採取できる。

血液を採取すれば、図2に示すように、採取棒1をスポイト5の中に保管する。つまり、スポイト5のキャップ10をスポイト筒6から外し、採取棒1を、その先端を下にしてスポイト筒6に収容した後、キャップ10を再びスポイト筒6に螺合する。こうすると、吸液体2は溶解液Qに漬けられて、血液は溶解し、溶解血液となって保存される。そして、保存中、外部から細菌などが入らないので、衛生的である。

診断の際は、図3に示すように、スポイト5をスポイトスタンド20から取り出し、スポイト5のキャップ10を指でつまんで、溶解血液をスポイト筒6の滴下孔7から滴下させる。なお、30はエイズや肝炎などの診断に使用する判定用診断キットのサンプルウェルである。

一種類の判定に使用した後は、再び、図2に示すようにスポイト5をスポイトスタンド20に立てておけば、内部の溶解血液が外部に漏れ出ることもなく、溶解血液中に細菌が入ることもないので、衛生的である。
そして、次の種類の診断に使用するときは、再度図3に示すように、スポイト5を取り出し、キャップ10を指でつまんで溶解血液を滴下させればよい。この場合、キャップ10をつまんで押し出す溶解血液の量は一定であるので、判定用診断キット、例えばクロマトグラフィー法による簡便迅速診断キットによる判定が高精度に行え、かつ操作に気を使わなくてもよいので、便利である。

【発明の効果】
請求項1の発明によるれば、複数種の検査をするとき、スポイトスタンドに立てているスポイトをそのつど取り出し、キャップをつまんで検体血液を滴下させる操作を、必要回数だけ繰り返せばよい。また、滴下しないときは、スポイトをスポイトスタンドに立てておけば、検体血液がスポイトから漏れ出すことはない。よって、操作性が向上する。また、スポイト内に雑菌が入らないので衛生的である。
請求項2の発明によれば、採取棒のフランジをスポイト筒とキャップで挟んでおくと、スポイト筒内で採取棒を固定できるので、使用中安定して置いておけ、その間に採取血液を溶解液で溶解できるので、操作性が良い。
請求項3の発明によれば、多孔質高分子の体積によって、液体吸収量が決まるので、血液検体の定量性が向上する
請求項4の発明によれば、ポリエチレンの焼結体の多孔質の体積が極めて均一であるので、液体吸収量の定量性がより向上する。
