【0001】

(1)1/2O 2 +Fe=FeO
(2)C+FeO=CO(ガス)+Fe
(3)C+O=CO
(4)1/2O2+CO=CO 2

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a burner / lance and a refining method for burning a fuel and heating an object to be heated while ejecting a supporting fluid containing oxygen.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Burners that burn a fuel and heat an object to be heated while ejecting a supporting fluid containing oxygen (oxygen, air, oxygen-enriched air, etc.) are used in various production processes.
For example, in an electric furnace steelmaking process, when a raw material such as iron scrap is heated in an electric furnace and melted, a low-temperature portion called a cold spot occurs in the raw material, and the raw material may be difficult to melt in this portion. .
For this reason, a burner is used supplementarily for the purpose of heating the raw material in the low-temperature portion and promoting the melting thereof.
By using the burner, the heating efficiency of the raw material can be increased, the amount of electric power used for melting the raw material can be reduced, and the melting cost can be reduced.
Further, a part of the raw material is oxidized and melted by the combustion-supporting fluid to promote cutting, thereby increasing the heating efficiency of the raw material.
Furthermore, the combustion of the unburned fluid (such as carbon monoxide) can be promoted by supplying the supporting fluid.
Since the burner can increase the cutting speed of the object to be heated and increase the heating efficiency as the flow velocity of the flammable fluid increases, there is a demand for a faster flow of the flammable fluid.
[0003]
However, when the flow of the combustion-supporting fluid is increased (for example, at a speed exceeding the speed of sound), the combustion flame of the fuel becomes unstable due to the flow of the fluid, and the heating efficiency sometimes decreases.
In
In these burners, a high-speed oxygen gas flow is ejected from the oxygen gas supply pipe, and the fuel gas can be burned using the secondary oxygen, and the combustion flame is stabilized by the secondary oxygen. be able to.
Therefore, the oxygen gas flow can be sped up without causing a decrease in the heating efficiency due to the instability of the combustion flame.

[0005]
In general, when burning liquid fuel, it is preferable to atomize the liquid fuel to form a mist. For this atomization, a hydraulic method or a high-pressure air flow method is used.
The hydraulic method is a method of spraying a liquid fuel at a high pressure, and the high-pressure air flow method is a method of atomizing the liquid fuel using a high-pressure atomizing medium such as air or steam.
[0006]
However, since these burners have a triple tube structure, the structure is complicated and the overall size is increased. Therefore, there is a problem that maintenance is difficult and handling is difficult.
In addition, when the object to be heated is a molten metal or the like, a part of the object to be heated is scattered by the gas flow, and the scattered object may block the fuel gas or secondary oxygen ejection holes, which may require time for maintenance. There was also a problem.
[0007]
In addition, when a liquid fuel is used, there is a problem that the nozzle structure is complicated regardless of which of the hydraulic method and the high-pressure air flow method is employed, and disadvantageous in handling and maintenance.
[0008]
In addition, in the steel refining process, the supply of a combustion-supporting fluid such as oxygen is important in order to efficiently refining molten iron (for example, hot metal or molten steel obtained by decarburizing hot metal) manufactured in a blast furnace or the like. is there.
The flammable fluid is used to remove silicon, phosphorus, carbon, and the like in the molten iron, and to cause the heat generated when oxidizing separately added carbon, silicon, aluminum, and the like to heat the molten iron (heat addition). .
When the flammable fluid acts on the molten iron, it is preferable to stir and mix the molten iron in order to increase the efficiency of the above-described removal reaction and heat addition.
Therefore, in order to supply the combustion supporting fluid, a lance having a Laval nozzle having a tapered portion whose inner diameter gradually increases toward the distal end is used in the combustion supporting fluid supply pipe.
If this type of lance is used, the initial velocity of the supporting fluid becomes supersonic, and the molten iron can be efficiently stirred.
In order to efficiently convert the energy given to the supportive fluid into a stirring force, it is effective to arrange the lance as low as possible with respect to the bath surface (the surface of the molten iron). There is a problem that the lance is liable to be deteriorated due to factors such as the above.
For this reason, the lance must be arranged high, and it is difficult to obtain high refining efficiency. Further, the nozzle shape and the supply pressure are adjusted in accordance with the flow rate of the flammable fluid (see, for example, Patent Document 4), but it is difficult to sufficiently increase the speed of the flammable fluid. There is a demand for a refining method capable of realizing high speed.

In this case, when heating an object to be heated such as a molten metal, the powder is burned and blown into the object to be heated, thereby increasing the heating efficiency.
The fluid in the present invention includes a fluid in a gas state, a liquid state, and a state in which a gas contains a mist-like liquid.
[0037]
Next, a method for operating the melting / smelting furnace for a cold iron source according to the present invention will be described.
To melt the solid raw material (cold iron source), the solid raw material is charged into the furnace using an electric furnace, and melted by arc heating.
Since a cold spot may be generated in the furnace due to a shortage of supplied heat, in the operation method of the present invention, the burner lance can be installed so as to heat the cold spot.
In the electric furnace melting, there are mainly a step of melting a solid raw material (melting step) and a step of heating and refining a liquid material (molten steel or the like) which has melted down and turned into a liquid state.
[0038]
In the operation method of the present invention, the solid raw material is melted by using a burner lance, and in refining, in the step of dissolving the solid raw material and in the refining step after the solid raw material is melted down, conditions suitable for each step The fuel fluid supply amount is set independently so that
The burner lance of the present invention has excellent fusing ability because a mixed fluid of a combustion supporting fluid and a fuel fluid can be ejected at a high speed together with a flame.
In the melting step, since the solid raw material can be heated while being blown, the heating efficiency can be increased. For this reason, it is possible to enhance the heat transfer efficiency to the fuel, burn more fuel, and reduce the unit power consumption.
[0039]
On the other hand, in the refining process after burn-down, the furnace has molten steel, slag, etc. at the bottom and a space above the furnace, so that even if a large amount of fuel is supplied, the heat-charging efficiency is low.
Therefore, by supplying a minimum amount of fuel within a range in which the effect of suppressing the fluid flow rate from being attenuated can be efficiently blown from the furnace wall toward the bath, and the decarburization reaction can be performed. And promote slag forming.

In the dissolving step, it is preferable to satisfy 1 ≦ oxygen ratio <3.This promotes fusing and melting of the solid raw material, and burns combustible components such as carbon monoxide generated in the furnace.
Note that the oxygen ratio refers to the ratio of the amount of oxygen supplied to the amount of oxygen required for complete combustion of the fuel fluid.
In the refining process after burn-down, the decarburization reaction and slag forming are carried out by blowing the supporting fluid (oxygen) at a high speed by reducing the fuel fluid supply rate, preferably the oxygen ratio to 3 or more, at a high speed. While promoting, the solid raw material can be dissolved.
[0041]
Thus, according to the method of independently setting the fuel fluid supply amount in the melting step in which the solid raw material is dissolved and the refining step after the solid raw material is melted down, a simple method of adjusting only the fuel flow rate Thereby, the efficiency of each process can be improved.
[0042]
Next, the refining method of the present invention will be described.
In the refining method of the present invention, by using a burner lance, a mixed fluid of a combustion supporting fluid containing oxygen and a fuel fluid is ejected toward molten iron (hot metal or molten steel) while burning the fuel fluid. It is a method of refining molten iron.
In general, hot metal from a blast furnace is received by a transfer device such as a hot metal ladle and subjected to preliminary treatment such as desiliconization, dephosphorization, and desulfurization, and then charged into a converter. And then decarburized. The decarburized molten steel is transported by a transport container such as a molten steel pot and provided to a secondary refining process.
The refining method of the present invention can be carried out in a vessel for receiving molten iron (hot metal or molten steel), for example, a refining furnace such as a converter, a smelting reduction furnace, a decarburizing furnace, or a secondary refining furnace. The refining method of the present invention can also be carried out in a transportation container such as a blast furnace pot, a mixed iron wheel (toped car), and a charging pot.
It is preferable that the container has a treatment device for treating exhaust gas of the flammable fluid.
[0043]
Hereinafter, an example in which the refining method of the present invention is applied to molten iron in a converter will be described.
Generally, hot metal charged into a converter is decarburized by oxygen supply (acid supply) from a lance, and is supplied to the next step as molten steel. At this time, refining agents (CaO, dolomite, etc.), ores (iron ore, manganese ore, etc.), alloys, etc. are added for the purpose of adjusting the components of slag and molten steel.
In addition, a sufficient amount of heat is required when dissolving and raising the temperature of the iron scrap. Further, when reducing ores such as manganese ore, sufficient heat of reduction is required. For this reason, when the amount of carbon or the like in the molten iron is not sufficient, thermal compensation is required even if the supply of oxygen is sufficient, and carbon materials such as coke, soil graphite, and coal are added.
For the supply of oxygen, oxygen gas having a purity of 99% or more produced by a deep cooling method or the like is usually used. The upper limit of the oxygen supply flow rate can be determined according to the capacity of a facility for exhausting exhaust gas containing carbon monoxide as a main component, which is generated by decarburization. The oxygen supply flow rate is usually 100 to 300 Nm per ton of molten iron to be treated.3/ H.
[0044]
When supplying oxygen to the molten iron in the converter, for example, a water-cooled oxygen supply lance installed on a lift truck is used.
As this lance, for example, a burner lance 1 shown in FIG. 1 can be used.
The burner lance 1 is introduced into the furnace through the lance hole of the exhaust gas hood, and the burner lance 1 is used to eject a mixed fluid of the supporting fluid and the fuel fluid toward the molten iron while burning the fuel fluid. Perform blowing.
At this time, an upper blow for ejecting the mixed fluid from above to the molten iron may be employed, or a side blow for ejecting the molten fluid from the side may be employed.
[0045]
During the decarburization reaction and the like, slag is generated and the bath temperature rises. Therefore, the lance height and the oxygen supply amount are appropriately adjusted for the purpose of adjusting the slag and the temperature. During blowing in a converter, not only oxygen but also various auxiliary materials may be added. The auxiliary material is usually added by allowing it to naturally fall from above.
[0046]
The following reactions occur during blowing:
(1)1 / 2O 2 + Fe = FeO
(2) C + FeO = CO (gas) + Fe
(3) C + O = CO
(4) 1 / 2O2 + CO =CO 2
In addition, when lime is added, a lime dissolution reaction also occurs.
[0047]
At this time, the higher the oxygen supply rate by the burner / lance 1, the more efficiently the stirring of the auxiliary material, the molten iron and the oxygen is performed, and the condition of the preferential decarburization in which the above-mentioned reaction (2) occurs without delay, and the low carbon concentration Decarburization can be carried out efficiently even when the temperature becomes low, and the yield of iron can be increased.
In particular, the environment inside the converter during the oxygen blowing has a high carbon region ([C]> 0.6 mass%) and a low carbon region ([C] ≦ 0.6 mass%) due to the difference in the reaction behavior of oxygen. They can be roughly classified.
In the high carbon region, almost all of the supplied oxygen is used for decarburization, and blowing is performed at a high oxygen supply rate. At this time, the reaction is controlled by the supply of oxygen.
On the other hand, in the low carbon region, the reaction is rate-limiting for carbon transfer, and a part of oxygen is also consumed in the oxidation of iron. Can be kept low.
[0048]
At the end of blowing, the degree of oxidation of the slag tends to increase due to an increase in the solubility of oxygen in the bath and an increase in the degree of oxidation of the slag, and a decrease in the dynamic pressure due to the suppression of the oxygen supply.
By applying the burner lance 1 at the end of blowing of the converter, oxygen can be added to the bath at a high speed even if the oxygen flow rate is reduced, so that the reaction efficiency is improved and the degree of oxidation of the slag is improved. Thus, the yield of iron is improved, the degree of oxidation of molten steel is stabilized at a lower level, and the oxidation of manganese is suppressed, thereby improving the yield of manganese.
The higher the speed of the supportive fluid, the greater the depth of penetration into the bath. However, when the supportive fluid reaches the bottom of the furnace, the furnace may be deteriorated. Is adjusted to such an extent that does not reach the furnace bottom.
[0049]
The refining method of the present invention can be applied to one or more of desiliconization, dephosphorization, desulfurization, decarburization, heating, heat addition, scrap melting, alloy melting, and reduction treatment.
Heat addition is performed for heat compensation at the time of adding an iron source or an alloy source. The reduction treatment is performed when iron ore, manganese ore, or the like is used.
The refining agent used in the refining may be selected and used according to the purpose of the refining. For example, in desiliconization or dephosphorization, it is necessary to stabilize silicic acid or phosphoric acid generated by a reaction with oxygen as slag, and it is therefore preferable to use a lime source having a stabilizing effect as a refining agent.
Lime sources are CaO andCaCO 3 It is preferable to use one containing at least one of them as a main component because it can be quickly melted and turned into slag.
In the refining method of the present invention, a refining agent such as a lime source may be supplied together with the supporting fluid, or may be directly added to the molten iron separately from the supporting fluid.
When using a refining agent as a powder, it is necessary to consider the amount of the refining agent lost due to scattering during supply and the cost required for pulverizing the refining agent (pulverizing process) from the viewpoint of economic efficiency. There is.
The addition amount of the refining agent can be set depending on conditions such as the refining processing amount, the required refining degree, and the permissible refining time.
[0050]
In desiliconization, a desiliconization reaction in which silicon in hot metal is converted to silicic acid by a reaction with supplied oxygen or generated iron oxide is important.
If this reaction is delayed, accumulation of iron oxide occurs or oxygen is consumed by reaction with carbon in the hot metal, so that the desiliconization efficiency is reduced and it is difficult to lower the silicon concentration.
The use of the burner lance 1 allows the combustion supporting fluid to be supplied at a high speed, so that the preferential desiliconization reaction can be continued until the silicon concentration becomes low.
[0051]
In dephosphorization, it is necessary to vigorously stir molten lime with molten iron to fix phosphoric acid and slag in which iron oxide coexisting to keep the oxygen potential at a high level in view of the reaction principle. By using the burner lance 1, the supporting fluid can be supplied at a high speed, so that the generated high-temperature iron oxide can be mixed with lime, the dissolution of lime can be promoted, and the generated slag can be stirred. It becomes possible. In addition, the collision pressure of the jet against the bath surface can be increased, and the generated slag can be dispersed by tapping into the bath and the slag entrainment can be increased by increasing the molten iron flow, which can dramatically increase the reaction area of the slag. It becomes.
[0052]
When reducing ore, iron ore, manganese ore, and other ores may be added with a solvent (such as lime), coke, or coal as a reducing agent or a fuel source for heat addition. is there.
By using the burner lance 1, the fuel source can be efficiently burned and the generated heat can be effectively radiated to compensate for the temperature drop during the reduction of ore and melting of the scrap and to simply raise the temperature of the bath. It is possible to heat.
[0053]
In the refining method of the present invention, a solid carbon source such as coke and coal: a hydrocarbon source such as plastic: CaO;CaCO 3 Sources including lime: MgO,MgCO 3 Magnesium source including: Al,Al 2 O 3 One or more of aluminum sources including: iron ore: manganese ore: alloy can be added to the molten iron.
Solid carbon sources, hydrocarbon sources, and aluminum sources serve as fuel sources.
In the refining method of the present invention, it is possible to efficiently burn carbon and silicon in these fuel sources and hot metal acting as fuel, efficiently stir a bath containing slag, and generate heat generated in the bath. Can promote heat.
[0054]
In the refining method of the present invention, in order to speed up the supporting fluid, it is necessary to appropriately adjust the combustion of the fuel (fuel fluid) in the burner / lance or to optimize the ratio of the fuel to the supporting fluid. is important.
The ratio between the fuel and the supporting fluid can be set so that only part of the fuel burns, or all of the fuel can burn.
This ratio is preferably set to an oxygen ratio> 5 in order to make the supporting fluid efficiently act on the molten iron and achieve a high speed.
Gaseous oxygen-containing gas such as pure oxygen gas, industrial oxygen gas, air, or a mixed gas thereof can be used as the supportive fluid.
In addition, not only in gaseous state, but also in liquid state and gasMistMay be a gas-liquid mixture containing the above liquid.
As for the fuel, blast furnace gas, converter gas, and the like, which are collected in a steel mill, can be used in addition to hydrocarbon-based gases such as LPG and LNG.
In the present invention, sensible heat or latent heat can be recovered from exhaust gas generated during refining using a heat exchanger or the like.
[0055]
In the refining method of the present invention, since the speed of the supporting fluid can be increased, the supporting fluid can be blown deeper into the bath than before, and the refining efficiency can be increased.

[0065]
From Table 3, it can be seen that although Example 2 had a large amount of unburned matter, Example 3 achieved high combustion efficiency without scattering of unburned droplets and also had a long flame length.
Therefore,L 4 / ΠD 2 Is desirably 0.1 or more.
In Example 3 and Comparative Example 2, the decay of the jet velocity was examined.
From FIG. 4, it can be seen that in Example 3, the attenuation of the jet velocity was significantly suppressed as compared with Comparative Example 2.
[0066]
(Example 4)
In a 350 kg scale induction melting furnace, 200 kg of molten iron was melted at a temperature of 1500 ° C. and a carbon concentration [C] of 2.5% by weight.
The burner lance 1 having the configuration shown in FIG. 1 was placed at a position 350 mm above the bath surface of the molten iron, and the supporting fluid and the fuel were jetted toward the molten iron for 5 minutes. Oxygen was used as the supporting fluid, and LPG was used as the fuel.
At the same time, granular coke having a particle size of 10 mm or less was continuously added into the furnace. The addition rate was 15 kg / hr. For stirring, Ar gas was supplied into the furnace from a porous nozzle at the bottom of the furnace. Supply speed is 3Nm3/ Hr. Table 4 shows the device specifications and test results.
[0067]
(Comparative Example 3)

[0068]
[Table 4]
[0069]
Table 4 shows that the refining method of Example 4 could improve the carburizing efficiency.
[0070]
(Example 5)
26.5 tons of hot metal having a silicon concentration of 0.20 to 0.21% by weight was charged into the pan.
Using a burner lance 1 similar to that used in Example 1, pure oxygen gas was supplied from above for 6 minutes to perform a desiliconization treatment. The supply rate of pure oxygen gas is 450 Nm3/ Hr.
[C] of the hot metal before charging was 4.5 to 4.6% by weight, and the temperature was 1385 ° C. For stirring, nitrogen gas was supplied into the furnace from the porous plug at the bottom of the pot. Supply speed is 10Nm3/ Hr. LPG is used as fuel, and its supply speed is 12.8 Nm3/ Hr. Table 5 shows the test results.
[0071]
(Comparative Example 4)
The same test as in Example 5 was performed using the same burner lance as that used in Comparative Example 1. Table 5 shows the test results.
[0072]
[Table 5]
[0073]
From Table 5, it can be seen that according to the refining method of Example 5, the desiliconization efficiency could be increased. This is considered to be a result of the reaction of silicon with the hot metal efficiently because pure oxygen gas is sprayed on the molten iron at high speed.
Further, according to the refining method of Example 5, desiliconization can be performed prior to decarburization, and the silicon concentration can be reduced. For this reason, the excessive rise of the hot metal temperature due to the combustion of the carbon in the hot metal hardly occurs.
[0074]
(Examples 6 to 9)
4 tons of hot metal having [C] of 4.7 to 4.8% by weight, [Si] of 0.01% by weight or less, and [Mn] of 0.2% by weight were charged into the converter.
Using the same burner lance 1 as used in Example 1, pure oxygen gas was supplied from above to perform blowing.
The supply rate of pure oxygen gas is 650 Nm at the start of the test.3/ Hr, and 450 Nm when [C] becomes 0.5% by weight or less.3/ Hr. LPG is used as fuel, and its supply speed is 12.8 Nm3/ Hr.
For stirring, Ar gas was supplied into the furnace from a porous plug at the bottom of the furnace. Supply speed is 36Nm3/ Hr.
During blowing, manganese ore was added under the conditions shown in Table 6. Manganese ore was added during the 6 minutes from the start of the test. Manganese ore was continuously charged into the furnace from above.
As the manganese ore, a granular material (particle size: 20 to 60 mm) containing 50% by weight of manganese and 5% by weight of silicic acid was used.
In consideration of the amount of silicic acid in the manganese ore, quick lime was added at the start of the test in such an amount that the slag basicity was about 3. Iron ore was added as a cold material during blowing, so that the temperature after the treatment was 1650 ° C.
Table 6 shows the components of the refining product at the end point (at the end of the test) and the manganese reduction efficiency. The manganese reduction efficiency is the ratio of the amount of manganese in the molten iron after decarburization to the total amount of manganese charged by the hot metal and manganese ore. Table 6 shows the test results.
[0075]
(Comparative Examples 5 to 8)
The same tests as in Examples 6 to 9 were performed using the same burner lance as that used in Comparative Example 1. Table 6 shows the test results.
[0076]
[Table 6]
[0077]
Table 6 shows that the refining methods of Examples 6 to 9 were able to increase the manganese reduction efficiency and increase the manganese concentration.
Furthermore, even in a low carbon region where the oxygen supply amount is reduced at the end of blowing, oxygen gas is blown into the molten iron at a high speed, and the reaction efficiency is maintained high.
Therefore, since the decarburization reaction is preferentially performed, it is understood that the reaction with iron oxide (T.Fe) in the slag is suppressed, the manganese oxidation reaction is suppressed, and the manganese reduction efficiency can be increased.
[0078]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the burner / lance of the present invention can provide the following effects.
(1) Since the groove is formed on the inner surface of the supporting fluid supply pipe at the tip end side from the fuel fluid ejection part, the fuel fluid is stably burned in the groove regardless of the flow velocity of the supporting fluid. be able to.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent a decrease in the heating efficiency due to the instability of the combustion flame and to increase the flow rate of the combustion supporting fluid.
(2) Since it has a double pipe structure in which the fuel fluid supply pipe is provided on the outer peripheral side of the combustion supporting fluid supply pipe, the structure can be simplified and the whole can be miniaturized.
Therefore, the maintainability can be improved and the handling can be facilitated.
(3) Since the fuel fluid ejection portion is formed so as to open toward the inside of the combustion supporting fluid supply pipe, even if the object to be heated is easily scattered like molten metal, etc. Blockage of the ejection part can be prevented beforehand, and maintenance can be facilitated.
(4) Since the combustion flame can be stabilized, turbulence in the flow direction of the oxidizing fluid can be suppressed by the combustion flame, and the flow velocity of the oxidizing fluid can be prevented from attenuating in the process of injection. .
Therefore, the flow velocity of the supporting fluid can be maintained high, and the heating efficiency can be further increased.
(5) Since a straight body portion having a substantially constant inner diameter is provided at the front end side of the fuel fluid ejection portion, the flow of the fuel fluid is prevented from expanding in the radial direction, the combustion flame is directed toward the front end, and the heating efficiency is improved.
