TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention predicts a detectable range of a sonar for detecting an object such as a submarine underwater, and a computer program for causing a computer in the sonar detection range prediction visualization system, method and system to visualize a prediction pattern. It is about.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a detectable range (hereinafter, referred to as a detection range) of a sonar (SONAR: acoustic detector) that detects an object such as a submarine existing in the water by sound waves propagating in the water is predicted (hereinafter, referred to as prediction). For example, there is a method of performing prediction using a sound velocity distribution in the sea where a sonar is used, and in that case, the sound velocity distribution is assumed to fluctuate depending on influence factors such as water temperature, salinity, and depth.
[0003]
FIG. 5 shows a procedure for predicting the detection range of a conventional sonar.
First, BT (water temperature vertical distribution measuring device), X-BT, etc. are thrown into the sea surface from a ship, an aircraft, etc., and the water temperature is measured while the BT is sinking to obtain a depth-water temperature distribution as shown in FIG. . Next, the sound velocity distribution is obtained from the depth-water temperature distribution data and the salinity concentration data in the sea area according to (b), and the detection prediction calculation is performed from the sound velocity distribution using a predetermined calculation formula or parameter. As a result, the distance R at which the minimum detection level of the sonar in the sound attenuation characteristics as shown in FIG.
[0004]
Then, as shown in (d), the water temperature is considered to be substantially constant within a circle having a radius R centered on the observation point O, and this is determined as the sonar detection range A at that depth. Therefore, if there is an object such as an enemy submarine in the detection range A, it can be detected by the sonar.
[0005]
Further, as shown in FIG. 5 (e), a certain range of the sea area is observed at a plurality of observation points, and each of the observation areas is filled with a plurality of detection areas A having a radius R, thereby defining the detection area of the sea area. .
As described above, conventionally, only the sound velocity distribution is used as the acoustic factor for the detection and prediction calculation of the sonar.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the detection range of the sonar is dependent on various factors (hereinafter, referred to as acoustic factors) such as a water depth distribution, an absorption loss, a sea surface reflection loss, a sea bottom reflection loss, a depth and a position of the sea, in addition to the sound velocity distribution. Things that change. In addition, these acoustic factors include water temperature distribution, salinity distribution, ocean current distribution, seafloor topography, seafloor geology, marine weather, organisms, acoustic characteristics of sonar, noise, etc., which change in the four-dimensional space of the ocean such as time and place. It is determined by various influence factors that are stationary and non-stationary with respect to time, and the slope of the attenuation characteristic curve in FIG. For this reason, the actual detection range is not a simple circular pattern as shown in FIG. 5E, but has a complicated pattern as shown in FIG. Changes every moment. Also, in a certain sea area, there are a plurality of detection ranges A having different shapes as shown in FIG. 6B.
[0007]
For this reason, in FIGS. 6A and 6B, positions indicated by, for example, B and C become blind spots in the detection range, and if an enemy submarine is located at this position, it becomes impossible to detect and causes a search error. There was a problem. In the past, there was always anxiety about attacks from enemy submarines in such blind spots, but there was a given that the detection range determined as a simple pattern was accompanied by uncertainty.
[0008]
Conventionally, it is very difficult to obtain a detection range having a complicated pattern as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B because a large number of observation points are required. Therefore, there was no other way but to approximate the detection range of the sonar with a simple circular pattern.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problem, and highly accurately predicts the detection range of the sonar, and visualizes the prediction pattern, thereby improving the reliability of the sonar and improving the reliability of the detection site. The purpose is to make it easier to grasp the situation.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the sonar detection range forecasting visualization system according to the present invention acquires stationary statistics about marine, weather, and sound, and predicts unsteady influence factors on marine, weather, and sound. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 4 shows acoustic factors used in the sonar detection range prediction system according to the present embodiment and influencing factors related to the acoustic factors.
In FIG. 4, the main acoustic factors are propagation loss, reverberation, and noise, radiated noise as a target sound source model to be described later, and mechanical performance of the target sonar (system-specific, independent of the environment, In the method of operating the sonar, several fixed values are selected), including the transmission level, the directional gain, the signal processing gain, the recognition differential, and the target strength. Each acoustic factor further includes a plurality of acoustic factors in a tree shape. Further, each of these acoustic factors is affected by an influencing factor.
[0015]
For example, the sound velocity distribution which is one of the acoustic factors in the propagation loss fluctuates due to the influence factors such as the water temperature distribution and the salt concentration distribution, and the water depth distribution which is the other acoustic factor fluctuates due to the influence factor which is the position of the person. Sea surface scattering, which is one of acoustic factors in reverberation, fluctuates depending on influence factors such as wind speed / wind direction / wave height / wave direction / frequency. Hereinafter, similarly, each acoustic factor fluctuates according to each influence factor. These influencing factors are temporally stationary and non-stationary. The stationary influence factors include, for example, those that change when the location of the seabed topography, seabed geology, and the like differ, but do not change over time. The non-stationary influence factors include, for example, those that change over time even if the locations such as the water temperature distribution and the biological distribution are the same.

For example, by displaying and sharing the display screen as shown in each ship and aircraft, it becomes easier to take command when moving the ship or aircraft or moving the observation point of the sonar with the movement. . In addition, since the current state of the sea can be accurately grasped, the strategy can be changed flexibly and quickly according to the state of the sea.
Furthermore, by displaying the position of the target such as a submarine detected by the sonar in the visualized forecast pattern as the
[0039]
In other words, in the past, accurate and quick decision-making could not be performed, for example, in a state where fog was on the battlefield, but by accurately grasping the sonar performance, the ocean space can be visualized, and furthermore, in operating the sonar By adding information necessary for decision making (decision support information), quick decision making becomes possible and strategy planning becomes easier.
