本発明は、Ｅメールの機能を有するファクシミリ装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
Ｅメール機能の利便性が評価され、Ｅメール機能を使用する企業が増えてきている。使用に関して一般的にはパソコンが使用されており、使用するためのプロバイダの設定、ＤＮＳの設定、ＩＰアドレスの設定等専門知識が必要であり、パソコンに詳しくない一般使用者がＥメール機能を利用するのは非常に困難である。また、公衆回線に接続されたファクシミリ装置ではＥメール機能を利用することはできない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、パソコンに詳しくない一般使用者でも簡単にＥメール機能が利用できるファクシミリ装置を提供することにある。インターネット網に接続されたＥメールサーバの機能を使用したファクシミリ装置では、一般的にＥメールサーバヘの接続、認証作業が必要である。また送信する場合は、送信相手のＥメールアドレスの入力が必要である。特に、サーバのＥメール機能を使用した送受信履歴や使用料金等の情報を使用者が得るには、サーバの会社からの郵送が一般的で、使用者に情報が届くまでに時間がかかる。

本発明はこれらの情報を簡単な操作で入手できるようにしたファクシミリ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するために、番号を指示する為の入力手段、入力されたダイヤルデータを回線に出力する手段、サーバからの音声を聞く為の手段を有したファクシミリ装置である。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項１に記載の発明は、インターネット網に接続されたＥメールサーバに公衆回線にて接続されたファクシミリ装置において、使用者が端末からサーバに接続後、サーバの音声ガイダンスに沿って使用者が端末のダイヤルキー等を押し、多周波選択信号等で応答するように構成したファクシミリ装置であり、これにより、簡単な操作で未受信メール一覧表、料金表等のＥメール機能に関する情報、個人情報等を取得出来る。

（実施の形態１）
図１において１０１はファクスを制御するためのＣＰＵ、１０２はプログラムが格納されているＲＯＭ、１０３はデータ等を蓄積するためのＲＡＭである。１０４はＥメールアドレスの入力、及び各種操作に使用する入力装置である。１０５はＥメールサーバとの通信を制御する通信部、１０６は表示装置、１０７はＤＴＭＦ信号（多周波選択信号）を検知・送出するためのモデム・ＤＴＭＦレシーバー部、１０８は電話回線に接続するための回線制御部である。１０９は各種情報や案内メッジ等を表示するＬＣＤ表示装置であり、未受信メールの件数はこのＬＣＤ表示装置１０９に表示される。１１１は受信した情報を印字する印字装置である。１１２はサーバからの音声ガイダンスを出力するスピーカである。

２００はＥメールサーバである。Ｅメールサーバ２００は公衆回線１１０で接続されている。また、図２に入力装置例を示す。１１３はＥメール機能を指示するためのＥメールボタン、１１４は情報入手の開始を指示するためのＳＴＡＲＴボタンである。

例えば、使用者がサーバに接続しＥメール機能の情報を得る時のフローチャートを図３および図４示す。以下図３および図４に沿ってサーバからの情報取り出す手順について説明する。

まず使用者がＥメール機能の情報取り出しを行う為に「Ｅメール」ボタン１１３を押す（ステップ５００）と、ＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「Ｅメール」と表示される。この状態で使用者は音声サービス設定を行う（ステップ５０１）。またＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「オンセイサービス」と表示される。使用者が「ＳＴＡＲＴ」ボタン１１４を押す（ステップ５０２）。それに従ってステップ５０３でサーバに接続する為発呼を行う。ＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「セツゾクチュウ」と表示される。ステップ５０４で発呼者の認証を行い、「ＯＫ」ならばサーバに接続される。また発呼者認証の結果が「ＮＧ」ならばステップ６００でエラー処理を行う。

ステップ５０５でサーバに接続後、端末は自動的にスピーカ（ＳＰ）ホンのモードに切り替わる。ステップ５０６でサーバから音声ガイダンスが流れる。使用者は、取り出したい情報の項目の番号を入力装置より入力する（ステップ５０７）。入力装置より入力された操作情報はＤＴＭＦ信号（多周波選択信号）によってサーバへ送られる。例えば、使用者が「１」を選択した場合、その情報はＤＴＭＦ信号によってサーバへ送られ、それに応じてサーバは情報を取り出すか、またはやり直すかどうかを問う音声メッセージを送出する（ステップ５０８）。使用者は「＊」または「＃」を押下することで情報を取り出すのか、やり直すかどうかを選択する。

使用者が「＃」を押下した場合、その情報はＤＴＭＦ信号によってサーバへ送られ、それに応じてサーバは取り出し可能な情報を案内する音声メッセージを送出する（ステップ５１０）。

サーバからの音声メッセージに従って使用者は取り出したい情報の項目を選択し、「ＳＴＡＲＴ」ボタン１１４を押す（ステップ５１１）。それに従ってサーバは目的の情報を送信し、ファクシミリ装置はその情報を受信し、印字装置１１１によって印字する。以下同様に音声ガイダンスに沿って項目を選択し、その番号を入力装置より入力すれば取り出したい情報を受信する事が出来る。

以上述べた通信は全てＤＴＭＦ信号によって行われるため、例えばユーザーは外出先などからでもＤＴＭＦ信号を送出できるファクシミリ装置さえあれば必要な情報を入力することによりＥメールの送受信ができる。またＥメールサーバ２００との通信をＤＴＭＦ信号を用いて行うことにより、専用の装置やソフトがなくてもＥメールの送受信を行うことができる。

以上実施の形態を示したが、使用者が得られる情報の内容、音声ガイダンスの内容、操作キーは問わない。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明によれば、使用者がサーバからの音声ガイダンスに沿って簡単に操作する事によりＥメール機能に関する情報、個人情報等を取得出来るファクシミリ装置が提供できるという効果がある。

【従来の技術】
Ｅメール機能の利便性が評価され、Ｅメール機能を使用する企業が増えてきている。使用に関して一般的にはパソコンが使用されており、使用するためのプロバイダの設定、ＤＮＳの設定、ＩＰアドレスの設定等専門知識が必要であり、パソコンに詳しくない一般使用者がＥメール機能を利用するのは非常に困難である。また、公衆回線に接続されたファクシミリ装置ではＥメール機能を利用することはできない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、パソコンに詳しくない一般使用者でも簡単にＥメール機能が利用できるファクシミリ装置を提供することにある。インターネット網に接続されたＥメールサーバの機能を使用したファクシミリ装置では、一般的にＥメールサーバヘの接続、認証作業が必要である。また送信する場合は、送信相手のＥメールアドレスの入力が必要である。特に、サーバのＥメール機能を使用した送受信履歴や使用料金等の情報を使用者が得るには、サーバの会社からの郵送が一般的で、使用者に情報が届くまでに時間がかかる。

本発明はこれらの情報を簡単な操作で入手できるようにしたファクシミリ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するために、番号を指示する為の入力手段、入力されたダイヤルデータを回線に出力する手段、サーバからの音声を聞く為の手段を有したファクシミリ装置である。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項１に記載の発明は、インターネット網に接続されたＥメールサーバに公衆回線にて接続されたファクシミリ装置において、使用者が端末からサーバに接続後、サーバの音声ガイダンスに沿って使用者が端末のダイヤルキー等を押し、多周波選択信号等で応答するように構成したファクシミリ装置であり、これにより、簡単な操作で未受信メール一覧表、料金表等のＥメール機能に関する情報、個人情報等を取得出来る。

図１において１０１はファクスを制御するためのＣＰＵ、１０２はプログラムが格納されているＲＯＭ、１０３はデータ等を蓄積するためのＲＡＭである。１０４はＥメールアドレスの入力、及び各種操作に使用する入力装置である。１０５はＥメールサーバとの通信を制御する通信部、１０６は表示装置、１０７はＤＴＭＦ信号（多周波選択信号）を検知・送出するためのモデム・ＤＴＭＦレシーバー部、１０８は電話回線に接続するための回線制御部である。１０９は各種情報や案内メッジ等を表示するＬＣＤ表示装置であり、未受信メールの件数はこのＬＣＤ表示装置１０９に表示される。１１１は受信した情報を印字する印字装置である。１１２はサーバからの音声ガイダンスを出力するスピーカである。

２００はＥメールサーバである。Ｅメールサーバ２００は公衆回線１１０で接続されている。また、図２に入力装置例を示す。１１３はＥメール機能を指示するためのＥメールボタン、１１４は情報入手の開始を指示するためのＳＴＡＲＴボタンである。

例えば、使用者がサーバに接続しＥメール機能の情報を得る時のフローチャートを図３および図４示す。以下図３および図４に沿ってサーバからの情報取り出す手順について説明する。

まず使用者がＥメール機能の情報取り出しを行う為に「Ｅメール」ボタン１１３を押す（ステップ５００）と、ＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「Ｅメール」と表示される。この状態で使用者は音声サービス設定を行う（ステップ５０１）。またＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「オンセイサービス」と表示される。使用者が「ＳＴＡＲＴ」ボタン１１４を押す（ステップ５０２）。それに従ってステップ５０３でサーバに接続する為発呼を行う。ＬＣＤ表示装置１０９には「セツゾクチュウ」と表示される。ステップ５０４で発呼者の認証を行い、「ＯＫ」ならばサーバに接続される。また発呼者認証の結果が「ＮＧ」ならばステップ６００でエラー処理を行う。

ステップ５０５でサーバに接続後、端末は自動的にスピーカ（ＳＰ）ホンのモードに切り替わる。ステップ５０６でサーバから音声ガイダンスが流れる。使用者は、取り出したい情報の項目の番号を入力装置より入力する（ステップ５０７）。入力装置より入力された操作情報はＤＴＭＦ信号（多周波選択信号）によってサーバへ送られる。例えば、使用者が「１」を選択した場合、その情報はＤＴＭＦ信号によってサーバへ送られ、それに応じてサーバは情報を取り出すか、またはやり直すかどうかを問う音声メッセージを送出する（ステップ５０８）。使用者は「＊」または「＃」を押下することで情報を取り出すのか、やり直すかどうかを選択する。

使用者が「＃」を押下した場合、その情報はＤＴＭＦ信号によってサーバへ送られ、それに応じてサーバは取り出し可能な情報を案内する音声メッセージを送出する（ステップ５１０）。

サーバからの音声メッセージに従って使用者は取り出したい情報の項目を選択し、「ＳＴＡＲＴ」ボタン１１４を押す（ステップ５１１）。それに従ってサーバは目的の情報を送信し、ファクシミリ装置はその情報を受信し、印字装置１１１によって印字する。以下同様に音声ガイダンスに沿って項目を選択し、その番号を入力装置より入力すれば取り出したい情報を受信する事が出来る。

以上述べた通信は全てＤＴＭＦ信号によって行われるため、例えばユーザーは外出先などからでもＤＴＭＦ信号を送出できるファクシミリ装置さえあれば必要な情報を入力することによりＥメールの送受信ができる。またＥメールサーバ２００との通信をＤＴＭＦ信号を用いて行うことにより、専用の装置やソフトがなくてもＥメールの送受信を行うことができる。

Claims (1)
- インターネット網に接続されたＥメールサーバに公衆回線にて接続され、各種の情報を入手するファクシミリ装置において、
ファクシミリ本体の各種の操作に使用する入力装置と、
E メール機能の開始を指示するＥメールボタンと、
Ｅメールに関する情報入手の開始を指示するＳＴＡＲＴボタンと、
音声を出力するスピーカと、
各種の情報を表示する表示装置と、を備え、
前記Ｅメールボタンの押下によってＥメール機能が指示されることにより、前記表示装置にその旨が表示され、前記入力装置からの音声サービスの設定により、前記表示装置にその旨が表示され、前記スタートボタンの押下により、上記サーバーへ自動発呼し、かつ前記表示装置にその旨が表示され、上記サーバからの音声ガイダンスを前記スピーカから出力しながら、上記入力装置の操作によるＤＴＭＦ信号の上記サーバへの送信によって上記Ｅメールに関する情報を入手するように制御するＣＰＵを有するファクシミリ装置。
