Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is applied to a GPS positioning system that provides navigation assistance, and provides a navigation object with a terrestrial pseudo satellite device and a terrestrial pseudo satellite device that provides ranging information to a navigating body in the same frequency band and modulation scheme as GPS satellites. The present invention relates to a method for synchronizing a pseudo GPS satellite signal of a satellite device.
[0002]
In addition, the present invention relates to a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), whose standardization is being promoted by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and in particular, a terrestrial navigation satellite reinforcement called a GBAS (Ground Based Augmentation System). The present invention relates to a terrestrial pseudo satellite device of a navigation assistance GPS positioning system suitable for application to a system, and a method of synchronizing a pseudo GPS satellite signal of the terrestrial pseudo satellite device.
[0003]
[Prior art]
In the GNSS, whose standards are being standardized by ICAO, a terrestrial navigation satellite augmentation system called GBAS, which provides services to a relatively small area around the airport, is installed at the airport. It processes GPS data sent from a plurality of ground monitor receivers, and provides reinforcement information for improving reliability through a VHF data link. Also, by monitoring each GPS satellite signal and transmitting reinforcement information for improving the accuracy to the aircraft, vertical accuracy for the aircraft to land can be improved. As described above, GBAS can provide high accuracy because information is provided only in a small area. Further, a terrestrial pseudo satellite called APL (Airport Pseudolite) can be added, and ranging information can be provided from this terrestrial pseudo satellite to an aircraft or the like in the same frequency band and modulation system as GPS satellites.
[0004]
In GBAS which improves the accuracy using such APL, the time system of the APL signal is specified to be 1 microsecond or less as compared with the time system of the GPS signal.
[0005]
As described above, GBAS using APL is in the stage of being standardized, and there is no specific example of a hardware circuit. However, the following method has been proposed to satisfy the above standard. It had been.
[0006]
In this method, a general-purpose GPS receiver is used, and an APL signal is generated at a timing of 1 PPS (1 pulse par sec) output from the receiver. The main function of the GPS receiver is to calculate its own position. At this time, the error of the GPS receiver internal clock from the GPS system time can also be calculated.
[0007]
Recent general-purpose receivers generally take advantage of their characteristics to generate a timing (1PPS) signal synchronized with the GPS system time inside the GPS receiver and output it to the outside. In terms of accuracy, several hundred ns can be realized with respect to the GPS system time. In this method, the output timing of the APL signal is continuously obtained at the timing of 1 PPS, and the output timing of the APL signal is approximated to the GPS system time.
[0008]
However, in the above-described method of continuously taking the output timing of the APL signal at the timing of 1 PPS, although the accuracy of several hundred ns can be ensured, the error is due to the selective availability of the operation example of the GPS system, and is several minutes shorter. The error changes with the cycle.
[0009]
When an APL signal is generated at this timing, the APL code has an error in selective use with respect to a carrier generated based on a reference frequency signal (for example, an OCXO, rubidium, or cesium oscillator) of a device. Frequency synchronization is lost, and a problem in system provision occurs.
[0010]
As described above, in the method of taking the output timing of the APL signal continuously at the timing of 1 PPS, since the error changes in a short period of several minutes, the carrier frequency generated based on the reference frequency signal inside the device and the APL signal are output. There is a problem that the frequency synchronism of the code frequency is broken in a short cycle, and the above-described error regulation between the time system of the APL signal and the time system of the GPS signal cannot be satisfied.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the GBAS for improving the accuracy using the APL, the method of generating the APL signal at the timing of 1 PPS output from the general-purpose GPS receiver using the general-purpose GPS receiver is based on the reference frequency signal inside the device. The frequency synchronism between the carrier frequency generated based on the APL code frequency and the APL code frequency is broken in a short period, and a problem arises that the above-described error regulation between the time system of the APL signal and the time system of the GPS signal cannot be satisfied. .
[0012]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and in a GBAS in which accuracy is improved by APL, a general-purpose GPS receiver is used to sufficiently satisfy an error regulation between a time system of an APL signal and a time system of a GPS signal. It is an object of the present invention to provide a terrestrial pseudo satellite device of a navigation assistance GPS positioning system and a method of synchronizing a pseudo GPS satellite signal of a terrestrial pseudo satellite device which can provide highly reliable and accurate ranging information. And
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention uses a general-purpose GPS receiver, initializes the code position (APL time value) of the APL code at the timing of 1 PPS obtained from the GPS receiver at the start of system operation, and thereafter sets the host device (the main station of the GBAS). ), An APL code is generated based on the free-run reference frequency signal generated in the device until the error reported out of the standard range. When the reported error falls outside the standard range, the APL code is generated again. The code is set so as to be synchronized with 1 PPS.
[0014]
Further, the present invention uses a timing signal and a reference frequency signal output from a general-purpose GPS receiver, synchronizes the GPS system time with the timing signal, and generates a carrier wave based on the reference frequency signal. I do.
[0015]

Up to this point, an APL code is generated by free-run based on a reference frequency signal generated by a reference frequency signal generator 18 described later. [0031]
Reference numeral 16 denotes a carrier generator for generating a carrier of the transmission APL signal, which is based on a reference frequency signal output from a reference frequency signal generator 18 to be described later. Generate a carrier to obtain
[0032]
Reference numeral 17 denotes a power amplifier for amplifying the power of the transmission APL signal modulated by the carrier wave. The power amplifier 17 amplifies the APL signal output from the signal generator 15 at a high frequency and transmits and outputs it as distance measurement information from an APL transmission antenna.
[0033]
Reference numeral 18 denotes a reference frequency signal generator that generates a reference frequency signal for operation inside the APL device, and here is configured by a rubidium oscillator or a cesium oscillator.
[0034]
Here, the operation of the APL device according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
[0035]
The GPS timing receiver 11 receives a GPS satellite signal via a GPS antenna, and discriminates and outputs GPS time information and a 1PPS signal from the received signal.
[0036]
The APL code generator 12 uses the reference frequency signal output from the reference frequency signal generator 18 to generate an APL code indicating the lower digit value of the APL time. In the first embodiment, at the start of system operation, the APL code position (lower digit value of the APL time) is initially set at the 1PPS signal reception timing of the GPS timing receiver 11, and thereafter, the synchronization signal generator 13 to be described later. Until a synchronization instruction signal is received, an APL code is generated by free-run based on a reference frequency signal generated by a reference frequency signal generator 18 described later. When receiving the synchronization instruction signal from the synchronization signal generator 13, the GPS timing receiver 11 again synchronizes the APL code position with the 1PPS signal reception timing.
[0037]
That is, the APL code generator 12 receives the 1PPS signal from the GPS timing receiver 11, and initially sets the APL code position (APL time) at the timing of the 1PPS signal at the start of system operation. Here, the APL code and the carrier are generated based on the reference frequency signal output from the reference frequency signal generator 18 in the APL device, and therefore the frequency synchronization between the APL code and the carrier frequency is completely established. become.
[0038]
Since the APL code is initialized at the timing of the 1PPS signal as described above, the APL code position is synchronized at the time of initialization with an accuracy equivalent to several hundred ns of the GPS system time synchronization accuracy of the 1PPS signal. Thereafter, the APL code generator 12 generates the APL code based on the free-run reference frequency signal output from the reference frequency signal generator 18 without using the timing of 1 PPS.
[0039]
Here, in the case where rubidium is used as the reference frequency signal generator 18, it takes 10,000 seconds for the time system of the APL signal to have an error of 1 microsecond or more with respect to the GPS system time from the accuracy of the frequency accuracy of 1 × 10 −10. That would be. This error can be detected by monitoring the signal by the GBAS master station 5, which is a higher-level system of the APL device 6, and notifies the APL device 6 of the error information. , The standard is satisfied by setting the APL code so as to be synchronized with the 1PPS signal.
[0040]
In the method of resetting every 10,000 seconds, in the case of actual operation, although a problem arises from the viewpoint of operation, by changing the reference frequency signal generator 18 from a rubidium oscillator to a cesium oscillator, the resetting cycle is of an order. 10 times larger. Also, since there is a high possibility that 1 microsecond of the GPS system time synchronization accuracy standard will be changed to 1 second, if it is changed, the resetting cycle will be 1 × 10 6 times larger and the operational problem will be solved. .
[0041]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In the second embodiment, in addition to the 1PPS signal output from the general-purpose GPS receiver, the reference frequency signal output from the GPS timing receiver 11 is also used, and the GPS system time is synchronized by the 1PPS signal. Generate a carrier wave based on
[0042]
FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing a configuration of a main part of the APL device 6 according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
[0043]
In FIG. 3, reference numeral 21 denotes a GPS timing receiver, which receives a GPS satellite signal via a GPS antenna, discriminates a 1PPS signal, a reference frequency signal, and GPS time information from the received signal and outputs the signal.
[0044]
Reference numeral 22 denotes an APL code generator, which generates an APL code (pseudo satellite code) indicating the lower digit value of the APL time using the reference frequency signal and the 1PPS signal output from the GPS timing receiver 21.
[0045]
A data generator 23 generates APL data for obtaining an APL signal for transmission based on the GPS time information output from the GPS timing receiver 21.
[0046]
Reference numeral 24 denotes a signal generator, which is a GPS based on the APL code output from the APL code generator 22, the APL data output from the data generator 23, and a carrier output from a carrier generator 25 described later. An APL signal for transmission is generated in the same frequency band and modulation scheme as the satellite signal.
[0047]
Reference numeral 26 denotes a power amplifier for transmitting an APL signal, which amplifies the APL signal output from the signal generator 24 at a high frequency and transmits and outputs it as distance measurement information from an APL transmitting antenna.
[0048]
Here, the operation of the APL device according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
[0049]
The GPS timing receiver 21 receives a GPS satellite signal via a GPS antenna, discriminates a 1PPS signal, a reference frequency signal, and GPS time information from the received signal and outputs the signal.
[0050]
The APL code generator 22 uses the reference frequency signal and the 1PPS signal output from the GPS timing receiver 21 to generate an APL code indicating the lower digit value of the APL time.
[0051]
The signal generator 24 has the same frequency as the GPS satellite signal based on the APL code output from the APL code generator 22, the APL data output from the data generator 23, and the carrier output from the carrier generator 25. An APL signal for transmission in a band and a modulation scheme is generated and transmitted to the power amplifier 26. The power amplifier 26 amplifies the high-frequency power of the APL signal output from the signal generator 24 and transmits and outputs the APL signal as distance measurement information from an APL transmission antenna.
[0052]
Here, the APL code generator 22 generates an APL code based on the 1PPS signal and the reference frequency signal received by the GPS timing receiver 21. At this time, the reference frequency signal is also affected by the selective usability in the same manner as the 1PPS signal is affected by the selective usability. However, by generating a carrier using this reference frequency signal, the conventional technique described above is used. The problem of frequency synchronization can be avoided.
[0053]
According to each of the embodiments of the present invention described above, the error regulation between the time system of the APL signal and the time system of the GPS signal can be sufficiently satisfied by using a general-purpose GPS receiver, thereby improving the accuracy using the APL. It is possible to provide highly reliable and accurate ranging information in GBAS.
[0054]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, in the GBAS for improving the accuracy by the APL, the error regulation between the time system of the APL signal and the time system of the GPS signal is sufficiently satisfied by using the general-purpose GPS receiver. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a terrestrial pseudo satellite device of a navigation assistance GPS positioning system and a pseudo GPS satellite signal synchronization method of a terrestrial pseudo satellite device capable of providing highly reliable and accurate ranging information.
