本発明は、自動販売機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
タバコの自動販売機や券売機において、投入された硬貨や釣銭のための硬貨を取扱うために、自動販売機の内部にはコインメックが設けられている。

しかしながら、このコインメックにおいて取扱える硬貨の数は少ないため、釣銭に使用する硬貨の数を増やしたい場合には、コインメックの他に硬貨払出し装置が設けられる場合がある。

そして、従来、硬貨払出し装置からの硬貨の回収は、コインメックのために設けられている金庫を使用して行われるのが通常である。

この金庫は、直方体を成し、上部が開口した所謂箱形となっている。コインメックから硬貨を金庫に回収する場合には、コインメックの底面から延びたシュートから硬貨が滑り落とし金庫に収納する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、カウンタ設置式の自動販売機においては、金庫の高さが硬貨払出し装置の硬貨排出口より高くなるため、金庫をその回収に利用できなくなる場合があった。そのため、金庫とは別に硬貨払出し装置からの硬貨を回収するための回収袋を用意していた。

そこで、本発明は上記問題点に鑑み、硬貨払出し装置の硬貨排出口が、金庫の高さよりも低い場合であっても、その金庫で硬貨の回収を行える自動販売機を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の自動販売機は、２台の硬貨取扱い装置を有し、また、これら２台の硬貨取扱い装置から排出される硬貨を貯める金庫を有した自動販売機において、前記金庫は、前記第１の硬貨取扱い装置の硬貨排出口から排出される硬貨を受取るために上面に上開口部を有し、また、前記第２の硬貨取扱い装置の硬貨排出口から排出される硬貨を受取るために側壁に横開口部を有すると共に、該横開口部を覆うシート状物を該側壁の内面に吊下げてなるものである。

【作用】
上記自動販売機において、各硬貨取扱い装置から硬貨を回収する場合について説明する。

第１の硬貨取扱い装置から硬貨を回収する場合には、第１の硬貨取扱い装置の硬貨排出口から排出される硬貨を、金庫の上面に設けられた上開口部から受け取る。

また、第２の硬貨取扱い装置の硬貨排出口から硬貨を回収する場合には、この硬貨排出口を金庫の側壁に設けられた横開口部に一致させ、この横開口部から、前記第２の硬貨排出口から排出される硬貨を回収する。

以下、本発明の一実施例の自動販売機１０について、図面に基づいて説明する。

自動販売機１０は、図１に示すように食券を販売するものであり、自動販売機１０の本体１２の前面に設けられた扉１４には、食券を選択するための選択ボタン１６、硬貨投入口１８、紙幣投入口２０、返却ボタン２２、デジタル表示装置２４、食券を取出し、また、釣銭をとるための取出口２６が設けられている。

本体１２の内部には、食券を販売するための装置等以外に、硬貨を取扱うためのコインメック２８及び硬貨払出し装置３０が設けられている。硬貨払出し装置３０は、コインメック２８の硬貨払出しに関し、補助的役割をする。

コインメック２８は、図２に示すように本体１２の中央部やや上方に配されている。硬貨払出し装置３０は、コインメック２８の下方に配されている。硬貨払出し装置３０の右側に硬貨Ｃを回収するための金庫３２が載置されている。

【発明の効果】
以上により、本発明の自動販売機であると、第１の硬貨取扱い装置の硬貨を収納する場合には、金庫の上面に設けられた上開口部から回収し、第２の硬貨取扱い装置から硬貨を回収する場合には、金庫の側壁に設けられた横開口部から回収する。一方、この横開口部にはシート状物が覆われているため、金庫内部に多量の硬貨が収納されても、このシート状物により横開口部から硬貨が飛出すことがない。
