【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、主としてシステムキッ
チンのベースキャビネットに設けられる立ち上がり水栓
に給水および給湯するための配管構造に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、台所に設置されている流し台の単
体は、図４に示すように、給水、給湯の水栓を一体に有
しないものであり、水栓Ｃは壁だし式として、流し台Ａ
の上位で躯体の壁面Ｗに取り付けられているのが普通で
ある。そして、そのための配管Ｐは、水栓Ｃに直結しう
るよう、流し台Ａより高い位置に設けられている。
【０００３】これに対して、図５に示すように、システ
ムキッチンのシンクを有するキャビネット、すなわちベ
ースキャビネット１には、その天板上に立ち上がり水栓
２が一体的に設けられている。
【０００４】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記のように、既存の
流し台Ａと、システムキッチンのベースキャビネット１
とでは、水栓Ｃ，２の取り付け位置が異なるので、既存
の流し台Ａをシステムキッチンに取り替える場合は、図
５にも示すように、壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐをベースキャ
ビネット１の立ち上がり水栓２に接続する必要がある。
【０００５】そのとき、実際には、壁Ｗを壊したうえ
で、壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐを切断し、壁Ｗの内側で配管
Ｐの先端に下方への迂回管３を接続してベースキャビネ
ット１の中に導入するなど、面倒な作業を行わなければ
ならず、施工に手間と時間がかかるばかりでなく、施工
時に大きな騒音を発生する、という問題がある。
【０００６】したがって、本発明は、壁だし水栓用の配
管を有する壁の前面に、立ち上がり水栓を有するベース
キャビネットを設置するような場合に、面倒な手間をか
けることなく容易に、しかも大きな騒音を発生すること
なく配管接続が行えるようにすることを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、壁だし栓用の
配管を有する壁の前面で前記壁だし栓用の配管より低い
位置に、シンクを有するキッチンキャビネットが設置さ
れ、前記壁だし栓用の配管には、キッチンキャビネット
の対応する栓が配管接続されているキッチンキャビネッ
トの配管構造であって、壁の前面で壁だし栓用の配管に
接続されてキッチンキャビネットの背面側から該キャビ
ネットの栓に導かれる配管ユニットと、この配管ユニッ
トにおいてキッチンキャビネットの上部から露出する壁
だし栓用の配管との接続部を覆うカバーとを備え、前記
カバーは、断面形状において、水平上辺部と下辺部とを
含んで形成されたほぼコ字形であり、前記カバーの水平
上辺部は壁に止着されて壁面に沿って棚を形成するもの
であり、前記カバーの下部はキッチンキャビネットの立
ち上がり部との間に隙間を形成するよう薄幅に絞られて
おり、前記下部とキッチンキャビネットの立ち上がり部
との間の隙間がスペーサで覆われ、前記スペーサの上面
部と前記キッチンキャビネットの立ち上がり部の上面部
とで棚が形成されている。

【作用】上記構成によれば、キッチンキャビネットの栓
への配管接続は、壁の前面で行われる。したがって、壁
を壊したり、既存の配管を切断する必要はない。また、
配管ユニットと壁だし栓用の配管との接続部は、キッチ
ンキャビネットで隠蔽されずに露出することになるが、
この部位はカバーで覆われるから、外観は損なわれな
い。

【実施例】以下、本発明の詳細を図１および図２に示す
実施例に基づいて説明する。図１は、本発明の一実施例
に係るベースキャビネットの配管構造の縦断面図、図２
は、その要部の破断して示した斜視図である。
【００１０】これらの図において、符号Ｗは躯体の壁、
１は、この壁Ｗの前面に設置されたシステムキッチンの
ベースキャビネットである。壁Ｗには、従来の流し台に
対応して、壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐが設けられており、こ
の配管Ｐはベースキャビネット１より高い位置で壁Ｗの
前面に露出している。ベースキャビネット１の天板上に
は立ち上がり水栓２が取り付けられている。
【００１１】ベースキャビネット１と壁Ｗとの間には、
配管が通せる程度（約１００ｍｍ）のスペースが設定さ
れる。そして、壁Ｗの前面では壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐの
先端部に配管ユニット４が接続される。この配管ユニッ
ト４は、前記配管Ｐの給水もしくは給湯を、壁Ｗとベー
スキャビネット１との間のスペースを通じてベースキャ
ビネット１の内部へ迂回させるもので、この例では、上
から順に、エルボ５、ニップル６、フレキシブル管７、
Ｌ型ソケット８および止水栓９からなる。そして、止水
栓９は導入管１０により立ち上がり水栓２に接続され
る。
【００１２】前記配管ユニット４のうち、その上方での
壁だし栓用の配管との接続部は、ベースキャビネット１
の上部から露出することになるが、この露出する接続部
を覆うように、ベースキャビネット１の上部に横長のカ
バー１１が設けられている。このカバー１１により前述
の接続部は隠蔽される。カバー１１は、断面がほぼコ字
形の鋼板、樹脂等の板材からなり、水平の上辺部が壁Ｗ
に止着される。そして、カバー１１の上辺部には硬質樹
脂もしくは人工大理石製の棚板１２が載置固定される。
カバー１１の下部は、薄幅に絞られて、下辺部が配管ユ
ニット４を部分的に回避した形で壁Ｗに当て付けられ
る。符号１３は、カバー１１の下部とベースキャビネッ
ト１の立ち上がり部１ａとの間の隙間を覆うスペーサ
で、その上面部には細幅の棚を形成するようになってい
る。
【００１３】既存の流し台をシステムキッチンに取り替
える場合、上記の図にも示したように、壁だし水栓用の
配管Ｐを有する壁Ｗの前面に、立ち上がり水栓２を有す
るベースキャビネット１を設置することになるが、上記
の構成によれば、壁Ｗの前面で壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐに
配管ユニット４を接続するだけで、ベースキャビネット
１の立ち上がり水栓２への配管接続が可能になり、施工
は壁Ｗの前面における作業で済み、従来のように壁Ｗを
壊したり、壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐを切断する必要はな
い。
【００１４】また、壁だし水栓用の配管Ｐと配管ユニッ
ト４との接続部分は、カバー１１で覆われることで、見
栄えが良くなり、しかも、カバー１１の上面部は台所用
品の載置棚として利用できるようになっているととも
に、スペーサ１３の上面部も同様に棚として利用できる
ようになっている。例えば、カバー１１の上面部には、
丈の高いワイヤーラックを固定して、まな板やクッキン
グコンテナ等の比較的大型の台所用品を載置し、スペー
サ１３の上面部には、偏平なワイヤーラックを設けて、
調味料入れ等の小型の台所用品を載置することができ
る。
【００１５】なお、上記実施例では給水および給湯用の
配管構造を示したが、この配管構造はガス配管にも実施
しうる。図３は、本発明をガス配管に実施した例を示す
要部の縦断面図である。
【００１６】図３において、Ｐｇはガス配管で、ベース
キャビネット１より高い位置に導出されている。このガ
ス配管Ｐｇの先端露出部には、図１および図２に示した
のと同様の配管ユニット４ｇが接続され、この配管ユニ
ット４ｇにより供給ガスは、ベースキャビネット１内の
ガス栓（図示せず）に迂回導入されるようになってい
る。そして、配管ユニット４ｇの前面から上部にかけて
カバー１１が設けられる。このカバー１１には、上面に
棚板１２が設けられるほか、前面部にガスコンセント１
４が取り付けられ、このガスコンセント１４には、配管
ユニット４ｇからの分岐管１５が接続される。このよう
なガスコンセント１４を設けることで、新たに任意のガ
ス器具が使用可能になる。
【００１７】なお、本発明は上記実施例のみに限定され
ない。例えばカバー１１は、ベースキャビネット１の間
口と等しい長さに設定してもよいし、部分的に設けるよ
うに短く設定してもよい。また、カバー１１の下部の薄
幅部分の奥行き寸法は上下方向で一定に設定されてい
て、この部分をベースキャビネット１と壁Ｗとの間に入
れているので、壁だし水栓用のカバー１１を上下に調整
することで対応できるようになっている。さらに、カバ
ー１１の両端開口には、それを閉塞するキャップなどを
装着するようにしてもよいし、ベースキャビネット１と
壁Ｗとの間の隙間が室内に露出するような場合には、そ
れを閉塞するエンドパネルを取り付けるようにしてもよ
い。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、壁の前面での配管接続
作業により、壁だし栓用の配管をキッチンキャビネット
の対応する栓に接続することができ、既存の流し台をシ
ステムキッチンに取り替える場合に、壁を壊したり、配
管を切断する必要がなく、騒音少なく、容易に施工しう
る。
【００１９】また、壁の前面においてキッチンキャビネ
ットの上方に配管ユニットの一部が露出するようになる
にもかかわらず、この露出する部分をカバーで覆うこと
ができるから、外観を損なうことがなくて見栄えが良く
なる。

が薄幅に絞られ、その薄幅の下部とキッチンキャビネッ
