It is determined whether or not this is the case (details will be described later with reference to FIG. 3). Stop
The time-acceleration output storage unit 6 stops at the moving object stop determination unit 4.
Control output from the acceleration detector 2 when it is determined that the
It has a function of storing it on the RAM in the controller 300 or the like. The stored acceleration output at stop is obtained by the acceleration cell
Bias error component of the sensor 302 itself,
The acceleration sensor 302 uses a part of the gravitational acceleration to move the moving body.
And the error component caused by erroneous detection.
It is regarded as the measured error and the acceleration bias removal unit 8
Then, those errors are removed from the acceleration signal of the acceleration detector 2.
Leave. The acceleration signal from which the error has been removed is
Can be regarded as acceleration due to motion, and it is time product twice
The moving distance of the moving object is calculated by dividing

This will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 3 shows a moving body 50 (car
Both) are the acceleration components that occur when stopping or driving on level ground.
The minutes are shown. The graph at the bottom of this figure shows the actual
The time change of the running speed of the vehicle is shown. The following theory
For simplicity, the acceleration sensor 302 is in the x, y, and z axis directions in the figure.
The measurement at 52 (αx, αy, αz)
Each direction is almost the same as the traveling direction of the vehicle, the vertical direction, and the horizontal direction
Assume that they are mounted as follows. When the vehicle is stopped, the vehicle normally moves in the vertical direction (y-axis).
Only the acceleration component shows the value of the gravitational acceleration g (9.8 m / s)
The others indicate acceleration values near zero. However, after stopping
When moving to the running state, the acceleration component in the vertical direction (y-axis)
Shaking greatly near the gravitational acceleration g due to the vibration of the vehicle during traveling
It comes out. By capturing the change in the state of this signal, the car
It is possible to determine whether both are stopped. sand
In other words, the driving state is a frequency above a certain level or
Whether an acceleration waveform with amplitude or both has occurred
It can be determined by the following. Incidentally, the traveling direction (x-axis) component is the traveling state.
The acceleration according to the state, the horizontal direction (z axis) component is the steering wheel
The acceleration corresponding to the degree of cutting is shown.
Acceleration signal for stopping and running, such as the vertical component
There is no extreme difference in the waveform, but qualitatively the same tendency
Therefore, stop and run are determined by the same method as for the y-axis.
It is possible to With the above-described method, the moving object can be stopped.
Judging the state and memorizing the acceleration output at the time of stop When stopping
In the acceleration output storage unit 6, each direction acceleration αx, α
Store the output when y and αz are stopped in RAM, etc., and further accelerate
The bias removal unit 8 stores the stored
Subtract speed output from acceleration signal. That is, in FIG.
All offsets when the acceleration waveform stops are canceled.
Means that In this embodiment, the moving distance calculating section
10, the acceleration of the traveling direction (x-axis) component of the acceleration is 2
By integrating multiple times, a more accurate travel distance is required.
You. Also, when it is determined that the moving body has stopped,
If there is, the moving distance calculation unit 10
In order to remove the error in each direction, the velocity in each direction vx, vy, v
Clear the output of z or moving direction speed (reset to 0)
Keep it. Next, in FIG. 3, the x or z axis is
For this reason, a case where the object is not on the horizontal plane will be described. This implementation
In the embodiment, as shown in FIG.
At least one direction, here x or
Is the acceleration detection signal based on the acceleration detection signal in the z-axis direction.
The tilt to calculate the tilt angle from the horizontal plane in the signal detection direction
It has a slant angle calculation unit 20 and takes into account the slant angle information.
Then, the moving distance is calculated by the moving distance calculating unit 10.
You. First, referring to FIG.
Direction, that is, the inclination angle in the pitching direction with respect to the vehicle.
Will be described in detail. In FIG. 4, how to pitch
If the road is inclined (inclined
Angle θrz) and the acceleration sensor 302 is attached to the vehicle body
(Tilt angle θsz) was considered. FIG. 4A shows that the inclination angle is zero (θrz = θsz).
= 0), which is the same condition as FIG. Stop as in Fig. 3
It is assumed that the vehicle has changed from
The speed output is a typical value when the acceleration in the traveling direction is a.
Output waveform. Specific from zero acceleration when stopped
Output waveform that increases to the peak acceleration value of
That is, the movement in the traveling direction of the vehicle is faithfully represented. this
By integrating the two times, it is possible to calculate an accurate moving distance
it can. However, as shown in FIG.
Is inclined (θrz ≠ 0, θsz = 0).
As described above, when the vehicle is stopped, the offset is g · sin θrz.
And it will be shifted by the offset during running.
Output waveform. Therefore, the acceleration sensor 302
A state in which the vehicle body is fitted in the vehicle traveling direction (θsz = 0)
Off on any road
By estimating only the set (offset g · sin
Since g is known in θrz, the inclination angle of the road is obtained.
Is equivalent to the following)
As long as it does not change much, the accuracy is the same as in FIG.
Can be calculated. That is, [0034] (Equation 1) In the above equation, a (the right side is the acceleration bias
(Corresponding to the processing in the removing unit 8) may be integrated twice. Next, as shown in FIG.
302 is attached to the vehicle body at an angle and is flat
When the vehicle is on the road (θrz = 0, θsz ≠ 0), the vehicle is stopped
Not only has an offset of g · sin θsz, but also
The acceleration amplitude of the torque also becomes a · cos θsz
If you do not calculate the travel distance after
Will wake up. That is, [0037] (Equation 2) It is sufficient to integrate a in the above equation twice.
That is, the offset g · sin θsz is calculated while the vehicle is stopped.
Then, since g is known, the inclination angle θsz is obtained.
Calculate the denominator cosθsz based on the θsz and calculate a
can do. Further, as shown in FIG.
In the more common case where the corners overlap, [0040] (Equation 3) It is sufficient to integrate a in the above equation twice.
That is, the offset obtained in the stopped state is g
· Sin (θrz + θsz), and the inclination angle θsz is directly obtained
I can't. For this reason, once a road is considered to be flat,
4 (3), and the acceleration determined there.
Based on the inclination angle θsz attached to the degree sensor, co
By calculating sθsz, a can be calculated. In addition, utilizing a known road inclination angle
Can also. Here, the inclination angle of the road is stored in the map memory 310.
Pitching the road from the vehicle position
Consider the case where the inclination angle of the direction is known. In this case, as shown in FIG.
The vehicle calculated by the moving body position calculation unit 12 by the navigation up to
On the basis of the position, the current traveling road is obtained from the map memory 310.
The inclination angle (θrz) of the traveling path (rolling, pitch)
)) Acquired by the calculation unit 26. Also, as mentioned earlier,
The inclination angle calculating unit 20 (pitching)
In the direction inclination angle calculation unit 22), the pitching direction inclination
Calculate the angle. This is equivalent to the case of FIG.
Is the offset g · sin (θrz + θsz) to θrz + θ
This is equivalent to calculating sz. From this θrz + θsz,
By subtracting θrz obtained by the motion path inclination angle calculation unit 26,
In the pitching direction mounting angle calculation unit 28, the acceleration
The sensor attachment inclination angle θsz can be calculated. By such processing, the above-described processing shown in FIG.
The θsz calculation on flat roads described above is no longer necessary,
The acceleration a can be easily obtained, and the moving distance can be accurately determined.
Can be requested. Moving distance with improved accuracy
The current vehicle position is obtained by the moving body position calculation unit 12 based on the
be able to. Next, as shown in FIG.
In other words, when there is an inclination angle in the rolling direction with respect to the vehicle,
Think. In the above figure, the inclination angle condition in the rolling direction and
And the road is inclined at a bank angle or the like as in FIG.
(Tilt angle θrx) and the acceleration sensor 302
The case of attachment (tilt angle θsx) was considered. The acceleration a in the traveling direction in FIG.
But here, the centrifugation that occurs when turning with the handle turned
Force c. This centrifugal force c is almost perpendicular to the direction of travel.
To move in the direction of travel you want
Although not directly related, one of the accelerations that acts on the vehicle is
It can be considered no different from the acceleration in the traveling direction.
Therefore, the logic is exactly the same as in FIG.
The mounting angle θsx is set to the rolling direction mounting angle calculation unit 30 in FIG.
Can be obtained at Thus, following θsz in FIG. 4, θsx is also clear.
And can more accurately capture the force acting on the vehicle.
Will be able to About the detailed description of FIG.
Is the same as FIG. 4 except that the x-axis is changed to the z-axis.
It is omitted here. Finally, as shown in the upper diagram of FIG.
Consider the sensor mounting angle θsy in the switching direction. Yawing direction
Regarding, the vehicle itself does not matter,
By turning the handle, you can easily change the direction
The rotation in the yawing direction.
I have to. In navigation devices,
There is an independent sensor that detects rotation in the
Uses the gyro sensor 30 as the azimuth detecting unit 32.
4. Assume geomagnetic sensor 306, GPS sensor 308, etc.
are doing. In FIG. 6, (1) and (2) indicate the azimuths.
Based on the output of the detection unit 32, the vehicle travels straight in the straight traveling judgment unit 34.
(3) and (4) rotate at a constant angular velocity ω
(1) and (3) are installation of acceleration sensor
When the angle θsy is zero, (2) and (4) are inclined at a certain angle.
If it is. In (2), the vehicle is traveling straight ahead.
Therefore, the centrifugal force c is zero, and the following equation holds. [0052] (Equation 4) In the yawing direction mounting angle calculator 36 shown in FIG.
Is solved by simultaneous solving with a and θsy in the above equation.
Direction a and acceleration sensor mounting angle θsy are determined simultaneously.
It is. Also, when the vehicle cannot be regarded as traveling straight as in (4)
Includes the term of the centrifugal force c, and is expressed by the following equation. [0054] (Equation 5) The mounting angle θsy obtained in the state (2) changes.
If you do not solve for a and c simultaneously,
The acceleration a in the row direction is obtained. (1) and (3) are (2)
Since (4) is a special case where θsy is zero,
The methods according to Equations 4 and 5 can be applied as they are. An acceleration sensor is provided only in the traveling direction.
The speed of the GPS sensor 308 is
The mounting angle θsy can be determined by using vector information.
Can be. That is, the GPS sensor 308
Measured velocity vector magnitude VGPSAnd the acceleration component αx
And the relationship with Vx obtained by integrating
From this equation, the acceleration in the yawing direction
The sensor mounting angle θsy can be calculated. [0057] (Equation 6) In this way, even if the vehicle is traveling straight, the vehicle is not traveling straight.
Even during traveling, the moving distance calculation unit 10 provides high accuracy by the above method.
It is possible to calculate the moving distance. As described above, in FIGS.
Includes pitching, rolling, and yawing directions
The explanation has been limited only to the plane. But in reality,
If priority is given to ease of installation of the navigation device,
The speed sensor will be pointed in any direction,
It is necessary to combine three-way discussions. In this case,
Although the procedure is complicated, it can be installed on navigation devices.
If the amount of calculation is allowed for the mounted arithmetic unit,
May be. If you need to reduce the amount of computation,
Configuration that replaces any of the three cases above
It is good. Further, regarding the acceleration sensor 302,
If the mounting angle in each direction is already known or 0
If it can be approximated, process while moving
As the slope of the currently moving road from the map memory 310
Find the angle and use this road slope angle to output the acceleration sensor
To determine the acceleration component in the true movement direction,
A configuration that calculates the moving distance using the velocity component is also acceptable.
