Description

This invention relates to a megaphone used to liven up sports spectators and events.

Various types of megaphones of this type have been disclosed in the past.

For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a megaphone made from a single paper sheet, which includes a megaphone body with an insertion slit and an engaging protrusion that protrudes outward from the other edge of the megaphone body, and which can be assembled into a truncated cone shape by inserting the engaging protrusion into the insertion slit.

Patent Document 2 also discloses a megaphone that is formed into a trumpet shape by providing a fan-shaped base with a large arc on the top edge and a small arc on the bottom edge, with fold lines for folding the base, and a joining insert piece on one of the left and right oblique sides, and a corresponding insertion slit into which the insert piece can be inserted on the other.

To solve the above problem, the megaphone of the present invention comprises a main body surrounded by a fan-shaped front edge, a rear edge that is shorter than the front edge, a right edge connecting the right end of the front edge to the right end of the rear edge, and a left edge connecting the left end of the front edge to the left end of the rear edge, the main body having an insertion slit formed near one of the right or left edge, and an extension piece extending from the other of the right or left edge and inserted into the insertion slit. The megaphone is formed into a truncated cone shape by rolling the main body and inserting the extension piece into the insertion slit, and is characterized by the fact that the main body has a first fold line formed from the right edge to the left edge, a second fold line formed from the right edge toward the center of the front edge, and a third fold line formed from the left edge toward the center of the front edge, forming a roughly triangular shape.

One embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In Figure 1, the reference numeral 1 indicates an assembled megaphone according to the present invention, which is formed from a single sheet 2, for example made of paper, as shown in Figures 2 and 3.

This single sheet 2 has a main body 3 and multiple extension pieces 4.

When viewed from the front side, the main body 3 is formed in a fan shape surrounded by a leading edge 5, a trailing edge 6 that is shorter than the leading edge 5, a right edge 7 that connects the right end of the leading edge 5 to the right end of the trailing edge 6, and a left edge 8 that connects the left end of the leading edge 5 to the left end of the trailing edge 6.

The leading edge 5 is formed in an arc shape, forming a leading opening 9 when assembled, while the trailing edge 6 is formed in a wavy shape, forming a trailing opening 10 when assembled.

The wavy rear edge 6 has a central recess 11 in the left-right center that recesses toward the front edge 5, a right recess 12 to the right of this central recess 11, and a left recess 13 to the left of it, with the depths of the right recess 12 and left recess 13 being smaller than the depth of the central recess 11.

A first folding piece 15 is connected to the central recess 11 via a first perforation 14, and when assembled, it is folded inward toward the rear opening 10, protruding into the interior space of the megaphone 1 and protecting the user's mouth.

The first fold line 21, second fold line 22, and third fold line 23 are formed close to the front edge 5, right edge 6, or left edge 7, i.e., they are not connected.

The first fold line 21 is also arranged approximately parallel to the trailing edge 6.

Furthermore, the distance between the left end of the first fold line 21 and the left end of the third fold line 23 is greater than the extension length of the extension piece 4.

The main body 3 is divided into four sections: the central section A is the area surrounded by the first fold line 21, the second fold line 22, and the third fold line 23; the rear section B is outside the first fold line 21; the right front section C is outside the second fold line 22; and the left front section D is outside the third fold line 23. The central section A has printing 24 such as an advertisement.

The right edge 7 is slightly bent toward the center section A at the boundary between the rear section B and the right front section C, allowing it to be folded into a triangular shape no matter which crease is made along (first crease 21, second crease 22, third crease 23).

This printing 24 is formed so that it is located on the front side when the bag is folded, as shown in Figure 4.

The single sheet 2 formed as described above is printed 24 on the raw sheet (not shown) using, for example, offset printing, a digital printer, or an inkjet printer, and then die-cut using, for example, a Thomson die-cutting machine.

In the above configuration, megaphone 1 is distributed at events etc. in the form of a flat sheet, i.e., a single sheet 2, and is then rolled up into a truncated cone shape for use.

After use, the main body 3 can be easily folded into a small triangular shape by folding it along the third fold line 23, the second fold line 22, and the first fold line 21 in that order.

That is, the main body 3 is folded toward the back side along the third fold line 23, so that the left front portion D is overlapped on the back side of the center portion A, then folded toward the back side along the second fold line 22, so that the right front portion C is overlapped on the left front portion D, and then folded toward the back side along the first fold line 21, so that the back portion B is overlapped on the right front portion C.

This allows for compactness in both volume and area, making it easy to carry.

Furthermore, the megaphone 1 can be held in a folded state by inserting and engaging the corner 25 between the right end of the rear edge 6 and the rear end of the right edge 7 into the engagement slit 26.

Furthermore, when reused, the megaphone 1 can be unfolded, the main body 3 rolled up again, and the extension piece 4 inserted and engaged into the insertion slit 19 to form a truncated cone shape.
