の缶のオーバーキャップ(A′)について説明すると、
図3に示すように、ポリエチレンを射出成形したキャッ
プ本体(a′)にはその天板(1′)の外表面(2′)
の周縁部にそって段部(3′)が形成され、その外側に
はリブ(4′)が突設されている。このような段部
(3′)とリブ(4′)とを有する天板(1′)の外表
面(2′)に積層ラベル(b′)が溶着されている。こ
の積層ラベル(b′)は、図4に示すようにポリエステ
ル/紙/ポリエチレンから構成されるもので、この積層
ラベル(b′)の溶着は、金型内の片側に、ポリエチレ
ン層を内側にして、積層ラベル(b′)を納め、金型を
閉じた後、これにポリエチレンを射出して成形する。こ
の場合、積層ラベル(b′)の内側がポリエチレン層で
あるから、ポリエチレンを射出成形したオーバーキャッ
プ本体(a′)に溶着するが、外面のポリエステル、そ
の内側の紙は、射出成形の加熱、射出樹脂の収縮により
延びを生じて部分的に皺(5)ができる。
