Abstract
【課題】現在一般に使われているデスクトップ型パソコンは、周辺装置にたいする電源供給を制御する仕掛けがない。そのため、モニタ装置、外付HDD装置、プリンター等のパソコン周辺装置の電源の「接・断」は、パソコンを「起動」及び「終了」するたびに手動で操作しなければならない。
【解決手段】これらの不便さを解消しようと思い自動的に周辺機器の電源を「接・断」できないか検討の結果、USB端子の5ボルト電圧がパソコン休止状態には0ボルトになることを利用し、リレーを動作させAC電源を「接・断」することにした。パソコン起動時及び終了時の煩雑さを解消しパソコンの円滑な運用を可能にするとともに切り忘れ防止にもなり、省エネルギー化にもつながる。
