色信号処理回路に入った色信号は、8セカム信号判別回
路に供給され、セカム信号であるかどうか判別される。
セカム信号であると判別された場合、8セカム信号処理
回路より、7色信号処理回路に、その識別信号が入力さ
れ、7色信号処理回路において、セカムの低域変換記録
処理(本セカムの1/4カウントダウン記録方式とは別の
方式で、一般的には、中近東セカム(MESECAM)とか、
東独セカム(DDR・SECAM)と呼ばれている)が行われ
る。また、セカム信号でないと判別した場合には、セカ
ム識別信号は出力されず、7色信号処理回路において
は、通常のパル信号の低域変換記録処理が、行われる。
パル信号,セカム信号いずれの場合でも、6輝度信号処
理回路にてFM変調された輝度信号と、7色信号処理回路
にて低減変換された色信号とが、9記録増幅回路で増幅
されて、10ロータリートランス及び11ビデオヘッドを経
由して、磁気テープ上に記録される。

送信号かセカム方式の放送かをメモリーしておき、記録
する時、自動的にパル方式かセカム方式かを選択できる
ようにした磁気録画再生装置を提供するものである。

て記録を行う時に、PAL方式かSECAM方式の識別信号を出
力するようになっている。従って本発明の方式を用いれ
ば、PAL/SECAMの自動判別回路が不要になるばかりでな
く、放送チャンネル選択と同時に、あらかじめ記憶させ
ておいたPAL/SECAM識別信号が出力されて、7色信号処
理回路において、それぞれの方式に合致した信号処理が
行うことができて、誤判別による色消えの問題から開放
されるのである。
