Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a laser disk such as a video disk and a compact disk using a laser beam for writing or reading, that is, an optical disk or a magneto-optical disk. The present invention relates to an information recording medium suitable for various kinds of disks. 2. Description of the Related Art Usually, a so-called ROM type information recording medium which only reproduces a general video disk, a compact disk, or the like, a write-once disk, a WO type (write once disk), or a rewritable disk. In various information recording media for reading or recording information by laser light, such as optical disks and magneto-optical disks,
Those having a structure in which a reflective metal layer is provided on the back surface of the recording layer are widely used. For example, in a ROM type information recording medium, for example, a double-sided video disk, as shown in FIG. 1, information pits 2, for example, recesses corresponding to information are formed on one main surface of a transparent substrate 1 made of polycarbonate or the like. A reflective metal layer 3 made of a vapor-deposited film of aluminum Al is applied to the surface having the information pits 2, and a protective layer 4 made of, for example, an ultraviolet-curable acrylic resin is coated thereon. A pair of substrates 1 each having information pits 2 is formed by bonding the surfaces of the substrates 1 covered with the protective layer 4 with an adhesive 5. And for each information pit 2,
Arrow a or b from the back of the substrate 1 on the side having each pit
As shown by, the presence or absence of the pits 2, that is, information reading is performed by irradiating a laser beam and interfering with the reflected light from each reflective metal layer 3. However, in the information recording medium having such a reflective metal layer made of Al, the optical characteristics sometimes deteriorate, and for example, the above-mentioned readout loss rate becomes large. In the WO type, writing and reading characteristics may be significantly deteriorated. This is based on the fact that the reflective metal layer 3 made of Al is corroded to lower the reflectivity, or its flatness, that is, its mechanical properties are degraded by recrystallization. For example, although Al corrosion resistance can be improved to some extent by using high-purity Al, it is not possible to avoid crystal growth. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an information recording medium having a reflective metal layer as described above and having a structure of laminating two transparent substrates having information pits.
The chemical stability of the reflective metal layer and the mechanical stability of the reflective metal layer, that is, planar or mirror-like shape stabilization,
The aim is to stabilize the optical characteristics. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, comprising the steps of: providing, on one surface of at least one of two transparent substrates having information pits, more than 0.5% by weight and not more than 10% by weight of T;
A reflective metal layer made of an Al alloy containing at least i is formed, and the two transparent substrates are bonded together via an adhesive. According to the structure of the present invention described above, the reflective metal layer having the above-described composition has excellent corrosion resistance due to improved chemical stability, and it is difficult for crystal growth to occur.
In other words, the crystal of the reflective metal layer is miniaturized, the flatness of the reflective metal layer itself is improved, and the fracture stress of the reflective metal layer due to the miniaturization is increased, so that recrystallization is avoided. Thus, it is possible to prevent the planarity from being deteriorated due to the recrystallization and hence the mechanical characteristics from being deteriorated. Further, since the corrosion resistance of the reflective metal layer itself is improved, corrosion due to the outside air is prevented, and in addition, a component causing corrosion is present in the adhesive for bonding the two substrates. In this case as well, it is possible to avoid corrosion of the reflective metal layer due to corrosion-causing components arriving after passing through the protective layer 4, so that an information recording medium with good characteristics and excellent reliability can be obtained. However, in this reflective metal layer,
If the content of Ti is small, the above-described effects of avoiding the above-described corrosion resistance and crystal growth are unlikely to be produced, and if the content is too large, Ti content is reduced.
And the optical characteristics, that is, it is difficult to obtain uniform and high reflection characteristics. In the present invention, the Ti content of the reflective metal layer is set to 0.5%.
It is selected to be larger than 10% by weight and larger than 10% by weight . Embodiments of the present invention will be described.
According to the present invention, a reflective metal layer made of an Al alloy containing at least 0.5% by weight or more and 10% by weight or less of Ti is formed on at least one of the information recording media in which the two substrates are bonded to each other. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, for example, information pits 2, for example, recesses corresponding to information are formed on one main surface of a transparent substrate 1 made of polycarbonate or the like, and aluminum is formed on the surface of the substrate 1 having the information pits 2. A
1 is coated with a reflective metal layer 3 made of a vapor-deposited film, and a protective layer 4 made of, for example, an ultraviolet-curable acrylic resin.
The pair of substrates 1 each having the information pits 2 are bonded together with the adhesive 5 on the side on which the protective layer 4 is coated. Here, the reflective metal layer 3 is formed by sputtering an Al alloy containing at least 0.5 wt.% And not more than 10 wt. To read information from the information recording medium, a laser beam is applied to each information pit 2 from the back surface of the substrate 1 on the side having each pit, as shown by an arrow a or b, so that each reflective metal layer 3 is irradiated. The presence or absence of the pit 2, that is, reading of information is performed by interference or the like due to reflected light from the device. REFERENCE EXAMPLE 1 As shown in a sectional view of FIG. 2, an aluminum substrate is formed on a transparent substrate 1 made of polycarbonate.
A reflective metal layer 3 having a thickness of 1000 ° is formed by sputtering using a Ti alloy target.

Each sample in which the composition of the l-Ti reflective metal layer was changed was manufactured, and the degree of corrosion was inspected for each sample by the following inspection method III. And the inspection result was shown in FIG. In the inspection method III, each sample is kept at 70 ° C. and 90% relative humidity for 1320 hours, and the presence and degree of corrosion and recrystallization, that is, occurrence of unevenness are judged by an increase in a read bit loss rate (error rate). did. In FIG. 3, the mark ◎ indicates that the bit loss rate is less than 1 × 10 −6 , the mark ○ indicates 1 × 10 −6 or more and less than 1 × 10 −5 , and the mark x indicates 1 ×
It is the case of 10 -5 or more. REFERENCE EXAMPLE 4 Samples were prepared in the same manner as in Reference Example 1, and the time required to generate spike noise under heating at 70 ° C. was measured for each sample. The results are shown in FIG. 3 (Test method IV). In the figure, ◎
If the mark has not yet occurred after one year, the mark
In the case where it occurred after a lapse of months, the symbol △ indicates that it occurred within a month. Al having a Ti content of 0.3% by weight to 10% by weight
When the reflective metal layer is made of Ti, it is excellent in corrosion resistance, irregularities due to crystallization, that is, recrystallization is suppressed, and it is possible to obtain stable characteristics with a small change over time. In this case, the Al—Ti reflective metal layer having a content of more than 0.5% by weight and not more than 10% by weight is more stabilized, and corrosion in the recording layer 14 can be reliably avoided. Stabilization has been achieved. As described above, the reflective metal layer 3 of the information recording medium according to the present invention is composed of Al—Ti of more than 0.5% by weight and 10% by weight or less, and Pd of 0.01 to 0.1%.
3% by weight, Mn is 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, Mg is 0.1%
An excellent effect was obtained when the reflective metal layer 3 was formed by alloys to which one or more of these were added in the range of 1.0 to 1.0% by weight and Si in the range of 0.1 to 1.0% by weight. As described above, according to the present invention, by specifying the composition ratio of the reflective metal layer 3, not only chemical properties such as corrosion resistance but also mechanical properties, that is, flatness and specularity, are obtained. Adhesive 5 for bonding two substrates 1 having weather resistance showing stability against long-time high temperature and high humidity
Therefore, even if a corrosive component is present, the deterioration of the characteristics of the reflective metal layer 3 due to this can be avoided, so that a highly reliable information recording layer can be formed.
The benefits when applied to information recording media having a reflective film, such as various optical disks and magneto-optical disks, are extremely large.
