[Prior Art] Packing agents are cosmetics that have been used for a long time. In this method, a water-retained powder or coating substance (mainly a water-soluble polymer) is dispersed and dissolved in a solvent, applied to the skin surface to an appropriate thickness, dried after a certain period of time, and removed. After application, the stratum corneum of the skin becomes soft by being retained by the pack and moisture coming from under the skin, and the beautiful skin component contained in the pack penetrates the skin. Furthermore,
During the drying process, it gives the skin moderate tension, and after drying, temporarily raises the skin temperature and improves blood circulation. Thus, at the time of drying and removal, dirt and aged keratin on the skin are removed, and a cosmetic effect is exhibited.

Of these packs, the peel-off type is removed by peeling off the formed film after drying, but the hands and the like become dirty at the time of application, it takes a long time to dry, and it is insufficient. There is a problem that the film is broken at the time of peeling due to the high film strength and a part of the film easily remains.

In addition, we wash off thing of washing type after drying,
Alternatively, it is removed by wiping, but this also has problems in that hands and the like become soiled at the time of application, and that subsequent cleaning and removing operations are troublesome.

In order to solve the problems of the conventional packing agent, research and development on a packing agent formed in a sheet shape in advance have been performed. Examples of the sheet pack include those using a rubber-based hydrogel as a base (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No.
JP-A-92306), and those using a polyacrylate, a polyhydric alcohol and water as main components (JP-A-54-49334) have been proposed.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, among those using a rubber-based hydrous gel, water does not form a continuous phase due to the structure in which water is retained between the skeletons of the gel, and is applied to the skin. Has an excessively strong adhesive force, and may exfoliate the stratum corneum on the skin surface at the time of exfoliation, possibly damaging the skin. In addition, there is a problem in that the effect of softening the skin by water and the effect of absorbing beautiful skin components are poor.

Further, the combined use of a water-soluble polymer, a polyhydric alcohol and water has a problem that the adhesion to the skin is weak and the cohesive force of the base is low, so that the shape retention at high temperatures is poor.

Therefore, the present invention provides a sheet-like pack which has an appropriate adhesive force to the skin, that is, has an excellent feeling of close contact, has excellent shape retention at high temperatures, and has a high absorption effect of moisture and the like on the skin, that is, a moist feeling. It is intended to provide an agent.

[Means for Solving the Problems] Under such circumstances, the present inventors have conducted intensive studies in order to solve the above-mentioned object, and as a result, using a gel formed of xanthan gum, locust bean gum, a water-soluble solvent and water. The present inventors have found that excellent sheet-like packs can be obtained for all of the above properties, and have completed the present invention.

The sheet pack of the present invention is manufactured by, for example, mixing xanthan gum and locust bean gum with a water-soluble solvent, then mixing with hot water to swell to form a gel, and stretching this into a sheet. . It may be used as it is without laminating it to the support, but in consideration of usability, it is preferable to laminate it to the support to protect the sheet. Examples of the support include a plastic film such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl chloride, polyurethane, and polyester; a nonwoven fabric such as nylon, rayon, urethane, and absorbent cotton; a cloth or an elastic cloth; and paper, cellophane, and the like. Can be used. At this time, it is also possible to use a device capable of imparting shear stress, such as a single-screw extruder or a twin-screw extruder, to mix the materials and to continuously mold the sheet into a sheet shape by the die shape of the discharge port.
