As a method of connecting to the printed wiring board 8, a lead wire is directly connected to the contact leg 7 and soldered, and the other end of the lead wire is connected to a signal line and a power supply line of the printed wiring board 8. Although there is also known a method of connecting to a plurality of contact legs, all of them require soldering a large number of contact legs 7, which is inferior in workability.

On the other hand, a soldering process is performed using a so-called board-in structure in which the contact leg 7 is connected to a corresponding printed pattern on the printed wiring board 8 while inserting the printed wiring board as a leaf-shaped signal terminal piece. Although a board-in connector is omitted, connection with a power supply contact cannot be adopted because of high contact resistance with the printed wiring board 8 and danger of heat generation. In particular, in the case of a power supply connector attached to a battery case of a battery pack, there is a danger that the secondary battery will be heated if there is a heat generating portion in the internal connection portion.

According to the present invention, a guide frame for inserting one end of a printed wiring board is vertically provided on the bottom surface of the insulating housing, and the signal terminal piece of the signal contact is printed on the printed wiring board with the signal terminal piece facing the inner surface of the guide frame. When the printed circuit board is inserted into the guide frame, the signal contacts are electrically connected to the signal lines on the printed circuit board. On the other hand, the leg of the power supply contact is bent so as to protrude in parallel with the signal terminal piece, and is connected by soldering to the power supply line of the printed wiring board positioned by the guide frame.

Further, since a slit slightly wider than the projected shape in the front-rear direction is formed on the rear wall of the guide frame, when the signal contact is inserted into the signal contact receiving hole from the rear, the signal contact is removed. The signal terminal strip bent at a right angle passes through the slit and abuts on the inner wall of the front surface of the guide frame. Therefore, the signal contact can be incorporated from the rear in advance, and after the printed wiring board is inserted, the signal contact does not come out backward.

A A guide frame 11 for inserting one end of the printed wiring board 8 is vertically provided on the bottom surface of the insulating housing 2, and the signal terminal piece 32 of the signal contact 3 faces the inner surface of the guide frame 11 and is inserted into the guide frame 11. Printed wiring board 8
Since the signal contacts 3 are connected to the upper signal lines 81, it is not necessary to solder the signal contacts 3 to the signal lines 81 of the printed wiring board 8 one by one, so that the assembling workability is improved.
At this time, the leg of the power supply contact 4 is located on the power supply line 82 of the printed wiring board 8 inserted into the guide frame 11, and the work of soldering to the power supply line 82 can be easily performed. Since the power supply line 82 is connected by soldering, there is no danger of heat generation due to contact resistance at the connection portion. Particularly, in the case of the power supply connector attached to the battery case 14, there is no risk of heating the secondary battery 15.
