DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial application field) The present invention relates to a straw applicator, and in particular, to a flexible package (hereinafter simply referred to as a package) such as paper or plastic used for containers of beverages such as milk. )
Further, the present invention relates to a straw applicator device for adhering and engaging a straw.

(Prior Art) Generally, drinking milk in a package requires a straw. When you buy milk in this type of package, you may forget to get a straw,
You can not drink unless you open the mouth of the package. Therefore, a straw is attached to the package as shown in FIG. This is preferable because the straw is not forgotten.

By the way, to attach a straw to the package,
In many cases, the adhesive is applied, but it is not desirable in terms of cost to perform this manually, and it needs to be automated. In the automation, a straw band was prepared by arranging a number of straws in parallel to form a continuous strip (see FIG. 8). The straw bands were separated for each straw, and an adhesive was applied to a package. An apparatus that performs each step such as bonding to a package is used. For example, a known bonding device that performs a process is to attach a straw to the outer peripheral surface of a drum, rotate the drum to position the straw at the tip of the arm, and then swing the arm quickly like a wiper to remove the straw. Is pressed against the side of the package.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in such a conventional device, the feed arm does not actively hold the straw,
In addition, since the movement was a simple reciprocating movement, i) lack of certainty in holding the straw, and ii) the reciprocating movement had to be performed at a high speed to ensure (i). Only the straw can be pressed into the package. That is, since the pressing time is short, the adhesion of the straw may be incomplete.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, a straw applicator device according to the present invention holds a straw separated from a straw band, and presses the straw against a bonding position of a package being transported to bond the straw. A straw applicator device having an arm portion to be combined, wherein the arm portion has an arm body having a clamp piece capable of exerting a suction force for holding the straw, and a shaft fixed to the arm body. And a bearing capable of slidably supporting the shaft of the arm portion and rotating in a predetermined direction, reciprocating the shaft supported in the bearing, and connecting the arm body of the arm portion to the arm. A crank that pivots in a direction in which the bearing can rotate, and moves the clamp piece so as to draw a substantially elliptical locus. Is configured to press the straw against the bonding position of the package while moving in a direction corresponding to the transport direction of the package.

(Operation) In the present invention, when the arm is driven by the crank, the shaft supported in the bearing reciprocates, and the arm body pivots in a direction in which the bearing can rotate, thereby holding the straw. The clamp piece exhibits a motion that describes a circular trajectory in a substantially elliptical shape. Then, by partially matching the substantially elliptical circulation trajectory with the movement direction of the package, and pressing the straw while matching, the pressing can be continued for the matching time,
The bonding time can be lengthened accordingly, and the bonding of the straw can be ensured. Further, since the straw is held by the suction force of the clamp piece, the holding of the straw can be ensured.

First, the configuration will be described. FIG. 1 is a front view of the straw applicator device. In the figure, 1 is a gantry, 2 is a mechanism provided on the gantry 1, 3 is a reel, and a straw band 4 is wound around the reel 3. Here, the straw band 4 is formed by laminating two long films and arranging many straws at equal intervals between the films (see FIG. 8). In addition, 5 is a control box,
Reference numeral 6 denotes a power supply source. The power supply source 6 includes a power source, a negative pressure air source, and a pressurized air source. Reference numeral 7 denotes a hot melt applicator. The hot melt applicator 7 supplies an adhesive (a so-called hot melt) that changes from a solid to a liquid when heated.

FIG. 2 is a top view of the mechanism section 2, which has a hot melt gun 9 and a straw applicator section 10. Reference numeral 11 denotes a conveyor for transporting a package of milk or the like, and the conveyor 11 moves in a direction indicated by an arrow (a) at a substantially constant speed. Reference numeral 12 denotes a hot melt sensor that detects the rear end of the package to detect the hot melt injection position, and 13 denotes a straw bonding sensor that detects the rear end of the package to detect the connection position of the straw. The installation position of the melt sensor 12 and the straw bonding sensor 13 can be slightly changed in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor 11. The reason for this is that the hot melt injection position and the straw bonding position are different depending on the type of package and the conveying speed of the conveyor 11, so that the process is flexible with respect to the package type (difference in shape, material, etc.). It is to give.

The arm section 16 includes an arm body 26 and one end of the arm body 26.
The arm body 26 has a clamp piece 28 and an angle of the clamp piece 28 between a first angle and a second angle (see FIG. 8). An air-driven rotary actuator 29 to be changed, a template 30 for setting a first angle and a second angle, and a shaft hole 31 are provided, and a pin 33 planted at one end of a crank 32 rotates in the shaft hole 31. This crank 32
Is fixed to a driving shaft 34 which is rotated by being driven by a motor (not shown). The shaft 27 is slidably supported by a rotatable bearing 35.

That is, when the driving shaft 34 rotates, the shaft hole 31 makes a revolving motion along a circular locus shown in FIG.
As a result of the reciprocating motion of the 27 in the bearing 35, the clamp piece 28 attached to the tip of the arm body 26 moves while drawing a circular trajectory close to an ellipse shown in FIG.

Now, let the straw be held at the point A of the circulation trajectory,
If it is made to adhere to the package at the point B, the straw can be surely adhered. This is because the trajectory near the point B slightly matches the traveling direction of the package, and the straw can be kept pressed against the package for the matching time. In addition, this is because a movement such as rotating the straw is incidentally generated as the pressing is continued. That is, when considering the joining of the straw and the package by hand, it is necessary to use both the operation of pressing the straw for a certain time and the operation of slightly rotating the straw in order to enhance the adhesive effect. According to the example, this manual movement can be reproduced mechanically.

This pressing is performed slightly continuously as described above, and the straw is given a rotational movement accompanying the pressing. Such an unusual movement is
The tip of the arm main body 26, that is, the locus drawn by the clamp piece 28, is formed by a pin 33 set on a crank 32 fixed to a driving shaft 34 by a shaft hole of the arm main body 26.
It is obtained as a result of being rotatably inserted into 31 and having a shaft 27 extending in the longitudinal direction of the arm body 26 supported on a rotatable bearing 35, which is used for bonding a straw to a package. The certainty is increased. Further, since a negative pressure acts on the clamp piece 28, it is possible to ensure that the straw is held by the suction force of the negative pressure. Thus, it is possible to avoid a failure to hold the straw, a poor adhesion, and the like, and to improve the work quality.

In the above embodiment, the shape of the package is a rectangular box shape, but the present invention is not limited to this. In short, it is only necessary that the container be a flexible container in which a liquid (which may be a liquid having fluidity) may be contained. For example, the container may be a tetra-shaped container.
