せる調整に伴いピットカバー長さの調整も必要となる。
第5図は例えば実公昭59−42677号公報に示された従来
のシャーシダイナモメータのピットカバー装置を示す側
面図、第6図は第5図VI−VI線における断面図を示す。
図において、(1)はシャーシダイナモメータを設置す
るピット、(2)はこのピット(1)内に布設されたレ
ール、(3)はレール(2)上に積載され移動可能な自
走式移動台、(4)は自走式移動台(3)上に固定され
た軸受台、(5)はその軸受台(4)で回転可能に支え
られたドラム、(6)は自走式移動台(3)と一体の移
動ピットカバー、(7)はピット(1)に固定された固
定ピットカバー、(8)はピット(1)上部で両端を支
えられた着脱式ピットカバーである。

動台(3)と一体に構成された内側ピットカバー支え
(12)にピン結合されており、ピット(1)に固定され
た中央ピットカバー(15)上に重ね合せた上層スライド
カバー(13)及び中層スライドカバー(14)も移動台
(3)と共に第1図に示す矢印方向に中央ピットカバー
(15)上をスライドし移動して行き、上層スライドカバ
ー(13)の先端と中層スライドカバー(14)の先端が密
着後は第3図に示す如く上層スライドカバー(13)が中
層スライドカバー(14)の上に乗り上げて台4図に示す
如く重ね合せられる。

でき、又ピットカバー上に隙間が無く物の落下の危険も
無いものが得られる効果もある。
