Conventionally, as a method of removing such bad breath, a method of using toothpaste or mouthwash is known, but a method of removing bad breath using these oral compositions is mainly in the composition. It is due to the mere masking effect of the fragrance, so the effect does not last long enough.

Therefore, an active ingredient that acts on methyl mercaptan or the like to deodorize it is desired, and conventionally, copper chlorophyllin sodium is used as such an active ingredient. Further, conventionally, it has also been proposed to use various plants and solvent extracts thereof as a deodorant active ingredient, but further has a high deodorant effect on methyl mercaptan and the like, and is safe even when applied to the oral cavity. A high deodorant active ingredient is desired.

Means and Actions for Solving Problems The present inventors have conducted extensive studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, and as a result, lumin has an excellent deodorizing effect on methyl mercaptan and has a deodorizing effect for removing halitosis. It was found that it is very effective as an odor active ingredient. In addition, it was also found that when luminin is added to an oral composition as an active ingredient for removing bad breath, luminin has an excellent effect of suppressing colonization of Streptococcus mutans in the oral cavity.

That is, luminin is known as a cyanine-based photosensitizing dye and is used in medicine as a cell activator, and there is also a report showing that it promotes the growth rate of teeth in the dental field. No odor effect has been reported. In addition, there is no report that Lumin acts on Streptococcus mutans, which is known as a caries-causing bacterium in the oral cavity, and has the effect of suppressing the adhesion of Streptococcus mutans. Although it has not been known to prevent caries by blending it in the composition, the present inventors have found that this lumine is superior to methyl mercaptan as shown in the experimental examples described later. It has an odor effect and therefore acts effectively as a deodorant active ingredient, and at the same time acts to suppress the establishment of Streptococcus mutans in the oral cavity and prevents the formation of plaque. For the first time, the present inventors have found that the remover is effective in removing bad breath and also effective in preventing dental caries as a composition for the oral cavity, and thus completed the present invention.

以下、本発明につき更に詳細に説明する。 Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail.

The present invention thus blends lumine as a deodorant active ingredient for methyl mercaptan and the like. However, the breath freshener of the present invention includes luminin and other deodorant active ingredients such as methyl mercaptan. There is no problem even if it mix | blends the deodorizing effect Platonin (photosensitive element 101) etc., and thus the deodorizing active ingredient of this invention may be used by itself, and it may be used in combination with other deodorizing active ingredients. May be. In addition to the rumine, the breath freshener of the present invention may contain an active ingredient such as an enzyme such as dextranase, a fluoride such as sodium monofluorophosphate, a stannous salt, chlorhexidines, and the like. The active ingredient of can be appropriately selected and blended.
