に横架されるようになり平板瓦の外方の側端縁が長期間
に亘り使用することによって反り上がっても第一水切突
条群と第二水切突条間とで排水溝が形成され軒先方向に
排水されるので雨仕舞いが良好である。又、平板瓦に反
りが生じなければ第二水切突条によって平板瓦の裏面か
らの内方への雨水の浸入を防止することができる。又、
水切部材の第一水切突条群と第二水切突条間とで平板瓦
の裏面との隙間が生じることにより仮に雨水が浸入した
としてもスムーズに排出されて乾くため平板瓦が水気を
含むことがないので平板瓦の反り防止にもなる。
