Abstract

[Problem] To provide a panel hanging kit that allows panels such as photographs to be hung easily, stably, and neatly from a wall. Description

The present invention relates to a panel hanging kit, and more specifically, to a panel hanging kit used to hang a panel with a photograph or other image attached to it on the wall of an exhibition hall, etc.

Most painting and photograph frames and backing panels are hung by hooking a string attached to the back of the panel onto a frame-hanging hook fixed to the wall, but this method poses problems in terms of hooking the string and keeping the frame horizontal. In photo exhibitions and the like, it is necessary to hang a large number of panels with photographs attached to the front of the panel neatly from the wall, but the above-mentioned string hanging method takes time and effort, and in that case, the panel is tilted toward the front, making it difficult to hang the panel parallel to the wall. For this reason, a hanging method in which a square wooden frame 42 is attached to the back of the panel 41 with hook-and-loop tape 43, and the wooden frame 42 is then hooked onto a frame-hanging hook 44 fixed to the wall is commonly used (see Figure 11).

However, when using the method of hanging panels using the wooden frame 42, not only are the wooden frames expensive, but a large space is required to store a large number of panels. In this case, an adjuster bolt for adjusting the distance is screwed to the support member. In another embodiment, the suspension tool is made of four rods that are inserted and supported between the support members fixed to the four positions on the top, bottom, left and right of the back surface of the panel.

In one embodiment, the hanging tool and the support member are housed in a single packaging container. The embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. The panel hanging kit of the present invention is a parts set used to hang a panel 1 with a work such as a photograph 8 attached to it from a wall surface 4 or the like, and includes a hanging device 2 and a support member 3 attached to the back surface of the panel 1, the hanging device 2 having a hooking means for hooking onto a commercially available picture hanging hook 5 fixed to the wall surface 4, and the support member 3 functions as a spacer between the back surface of the panel 1 and the wall surface 4, and also has a function of preventing the panel 1 from swaying or swaying sideways by making surface contact with the wall surface 4.

The hanging device 2 and the support member 3 are attached to the back surface of the panel 1 via hook-and-loop tape 6. That is, one of a pair of hook-and-loop tapes 6 with double-sided tape 7 fixed to the back surface is adhered to the back surface of the panel 1 via the double-sided tape 7, and the other hook-and-loop tape 6 is adhered to the hanging device 2 and the support member 3 via the double-sided tape 7, and the hook-and-loop tapes 6 are engaged with each other to fix the hanging device 2 and the support member 3 to the back surface of the panel 1 (see Figure 8). The support member 3 is a block material made of resin such as rigid urethane foam and molded into a cube or any other shape.

Various configurations are possible for the hanging device 2. The hanging device 2 in the first embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 3 is composed of a pair of receiving brackets 11 attached at a predetermined interval to the upper part of the back surface of the panel 1 via hook-and-loop tape 6, and a hook rod 14 that is hung between the receiving brackets 11. The upper half of the receiving bracket 11 is bent vertically, and a support groove 13 that receives and supports the reduced diameter portion 15 formed at the end of the hook rod 14 is formed in the vertical portion 12 (see Figure 2). The support groove 13 is formed into a T-shape or L-shape with an enlarged rear end, and one end of the hook rod 14 is inserted into the enlarged rear end and shifted forward to fit the reduced diameter portion 15 into the front end of the support groove 13.

In the case of this first embodiment, first, the hook-and-loop tape 6 is adhered to the four points on the back of the panel 1, the top, bottom, left and right, and the hook-and-loop tape 6 is attached to the upper hook-and-loop tape 6 by attaching the hook-and-loop tape 6 on the back of the bracket 11 to attach the bracket 11, and similarly, the support member 3 is attached to the lower hook-and-loop tape 6 (see Figure 1). Then, the hanging rod 14 is stretched between the brackets 11, and the hanging rod 14 is hooked to a picture-hanging hook 5 that is usually nailed to two points on the wall surface 4, thereby hanging the panel 1 from the wall surface 4. At that time, one side of the support member 3 abuts against the wall surface 4. Since the support member 3 abuts against the wall surface 4 with an appropriate frictional force, the panel 1 is prevented from swinging or swaying sideways, and is supported in a stable state. The thickness of the support member 3 corresponds to the height of the vertical part 12 so that the panel 1 is parallel to the wall surface 4.

The second embodiment of the hanging device 2 shown in FIG. 4 is essentially a shorter version of the hanging rod 14 in the first embodiment. The hanging device 2 shown in FIG. 4(A) is configured by bending the wings 18 on both sides of the upper part of the flat plate 17 forward and placing the hanging rod 19 between the wings 18. The hanging rod 19 is usually fixed to the wings 18 by welding. The hanging device shown in FIG. 4(B) has a long U-shaped hanging rod 20 attached to the upper part of the flat plate 17. The hanging rod 20 is fixed at both ends by screws 21 that are screwed in from the front side of the panel 1. In this case, a recess is formed on the front side of the panel 1 to hide the head of the screw 21, so that the head of the screw 21 does not protrude from the surface of the panel 1.

In the case of this second embodiment, support members 3 are fixed to the back surface of panel 1 at four points on the top, bottom, left and right, and the hanging device 2 is placed between the upper support members 3 (Figure 4 (C)). In this case, the panel 1 is hung from a wall surface by hooking the hanging rod 14 onto a hanging hook 5 that is nailed to the wall surface 4. The four support members 3 prevent the panel 1 from swaying or swaying sideways, and it is supported in a stable state.

The hanging device 2 in the third embodiment shown in Figure 5 has a C-shaped swinging hanging device 23 pivotally supported on the panel 1 so that it can swing. That is, a pivot plate 24 having a pair of receiving tubes 25 is attached to the panel 1 via hook-and-loop tape 6, and the swinging hanging device 23 is pivotally supported with each end inserted into the receiving tubes 25. In the case of the hanging device 2 of this third embodiment, the swinging hanging device 23 can be hooked onto the picture-hanging hook 5 at any angle, but since the distance between the back surface of the panel 1 and the wall surface 4 changes depending on the angle, an adjuster bolt 26 for adjusting the distance is screwed into the support member 3.

In the fourth embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the hanging tool 2 has the upper half of a flat plate 28 bent horizontally, diagonally upward, and then diagonally upward, with a hanging opening 30 provided in the diagonally upward bent portion 29. In the case of this fourth embodiment, the hanging tool 2 has the hanging opening 30 hooked onto the frame hanging hook 5, thereby hanging the panel 1 from the wall surface 4.

The hanging device 2 in the fifth embodiment shown in Figure 7 is made of four rods 31 that are inserted between support members 3 fixed to the back surface of the panel 1 at four points on the top, bottom, left and right. In this case, the support members 3 have insertion holes 32 drilled into their four sides for inserting the ends of the rods 31. In the case of this fifth embodiment, the panel 1 is hung from the wall surface 4 by hanging the rod 31 on the upper edge on the hanging hook 5.

In a preferred embodiment, the hanging device 2 and the support member 3 are sold in a single packaging container. Figure 10 shows an example of a hanging hardware set that is commercialized by placing the hanging device 2 (Figure 4(A)) of the second embodiment in the center of a transparent resin container and placing two support members 3 on each side of it. In this case, a pair of hook-and-loop tapes 6, each with a release paper covering the adhesive sheet 7 on the side that is fixed to the wall surface 4, are adhered to the hanging device 2 and the support member 3 (see Figure 8).

In any of the above embodiments, the panel 1 is suspended from the picture-hanging hook 5 by the suspension tool 2 of the panel suspension kit according to the present invention, and the support member 3 maintains the distance between the rear surface of the panel 1 and the wall surface 4. In addition, the support member 3 comes into surface contact with the wall surface 4, preventing the panel 1 from swaying or swaying sideways, and supporting it in a stable state.

The kit may also include a fall prevention device 33 for preventing the panel 1 from falling (see FIG. 9). The fall prevention device 33 is made up of a support plate 34 with a string-passing section 35 in the center, and a string 36 that is passed through the string-passing section 35. The string 36 passed through the string-passing section 35 is fixed to any location on the back of the hanging device 2 or the panel 1. The support plate 34 is fixed to the wall surface 4 on the back side of the panel 1 via hook-and-loop tape 6. In that case, even if the hanging device 2 were to come off the picture frame hanging hook 5, the panel 1 is connected to the string 36, so it is prevented from falling and being damaged.

The panel hanging kit of the present invention is sold as a set consisting of a hanging device 2 with hook-and-loop tape 6 and a support member 3, so that the panel 1 can be hung immediately without the need for other materials or tools.

The panel hanging kit of the present invention is as described above, and by using this kit, it is possible to hang panels such as photographs easily and stably on a wall in a neat manner, so it has great industrial applicability.

The panel hanging kit according to claim 1, wherein the hanging tool is a metal fitting attached to the upper part of the back surface of the panel, and the upper half of the flat plate is bent horizontally, diagonally upward, and inversely diagonally upward, in that order, with a hanging opening provided in the diagonally upward bent portion. The panel hanging kit according to claim 1, wherein the hanging tool is a metal fitting attached to the upper back surface of the panel, and is made by attaching a long U-shaped hanging rod to a flat plate. The panel hanging kit according to claim 7, wherein the hanging tool is a metal fitting attached to the upper part of the back surface of the panel, and is made by attaching a square C-shaped hook rod to a flat plate so that it can swing. The panel hanging kit according to claim 8, in which a spacing adjustment adjuster bolt is screwed onto the support member. The panel hanging kit according to claim 1, wherein the hanging tool is made of four rods that are inserted and supported between the support members fixed at four points on the back surface of the panel, top, bottom, left and right. The panel hanging kit according to claim 1, wherein the hanging tool and the support member are contained in a single packaging container. The panel hanging kit according to any one of claims 1 to 11, further comprising a fall prevention device consisting of a support plate having a string-passing part in the center and fixed to the wall surface, and a string that is passed through the string-passing part.
