Abstract

Claims (25)
- ユーザに薬剤を送達するための吸入器であって、当該吸入器は:
マウスピースとマウスピースカバーとを有する本体;
前記本体内に少なくとも部分的に配置されたスライダ;および、
スイッチを有する電子モジュール;
を備え、
前記電子モジュールは、ユーザが前記マウスピースカバーを移動させて前記マウスピースを初めて露出させる前は、オフ状態にあるように構成され;
前記マウスピースカバーが前記マウスピースを露出させるように移動されるとき、前記スライダは、前記スイッチを係合させ、前記電子モジュールをオフ状態からアクティブ状態に遷移させ、前記マウスピースからのユーザによる吸入を感知させるように構成され、また、
前記電子モジュールは、ユーザによって前記マウスピースカバーが移動されて前記マウスピースを初めて露出させた後は、オフ状態に戻らないように構成される、吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記オフ状態から遷移するときに内部カウンタをスタートするように構成される、請求項1に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記内部カウンタに基づいて、感知された吸入または前記マウスピースカバーの開放をタイムスタンプするように構成される、請求項2に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記マウスピースカバーが前記閉位置から前記開位置に移動した後に前記吸入器内の少なくとも1つの大気圧を測定するように構成された圧力センサをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の吸入器。
- 前記圧力センサは、所定の時間または所定のイベントが検出されるまで、測定を行うように構成される、請求項4に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記少なくとも1つの測定された大気圧に基づいて、1つまたは複数の吸入パラメータを決定するように構成されたプロセッサをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の吸入器。
- 前記吸入パラメータが:
ピーク流量;
ピーク流量までの時間;
吸入量;および
吸入時間、を含む、請求項6に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記吸入パラメータを外部デバイスに無線で送信するように構成された通信回路をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の吸入器。
- 前記アクティブ状態にあるとき、前記電子モジュールが:
前記マウスピースカバーを移動させてマウスピースを露出させた後、前記吸入器内の1つまたは複数の大気圧を測定すること;
前記1つまたは複数の測定された大気圧に基づいて、吸入パラメータを決定すること;
ローカルメモリに前記吸入パラメータを格納すること;
外部デバイスに通知すること;および
前記外部デバイスに前記吸入パラメータを送信すること、
のうちの少なくとも1つを実行するように構成される、請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記オフ状態または前記アクティブ状態にないときに、スリープ状態にあるように構成される、請求項2に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記電子モジュールが、圧力センサから受信された1つ以上の大気圧測定値が、前記内部カウンタに基づく所定の時間の間、前記所定の範囲内に含まれないことを決定すると、前記アクティブ状態から前記スリープ状態に変化するように構成される、請求項10に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記マウスピースを露出させるために前記マウスピースカバーが移動され、前記1つまたは複数の大気圧測定値が前記所定の時間内に前記所定の範囲内にない場合に、タイムアウトイベントおよび関連するタイムスタンプを格納するように構成される、請求項11に記載の吸入器。
- 前記電子モジュールは、前記マウスピースカバーが前記マウスピースを覆うように移動されると、前記アクティブ状態からスリープ状態に変化するように構成される、請求項1に記載の吸入器。
- 電子モジュールを備える吸入器を介して薬剤を送達する方法であって、当該方法は:
ユーザがマウスピースカバーを移動させてマウスピースを初めて露出させる前は、前記電子モジュールをオフ状態に維持すること;
前記マウスピースカバーを移動させて前記マウスピースを露出させたときにスイッチをアクチュエートすること;
前記スイッチがアクチュエートされると、前記電子モジュールがオフ状態からアクティブ状態に遷移すること;
マウスピースからのユーザの吸入を感知すること;および
薬剤の用量を送達すること
を含み、
前記電子モジュールは、前記マウスピースカバーが移動されてユーザによってマウスピースが初めて露出された後、オフ状態に戻らないように構成される、方法。 - 前記マウスピースカバーが移動されて前記マウスピースが露出された時、前記用量の薬剤を前記マウスピースの流路に利用可能にすることをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記オフ状態から遷移するときに、前記電子モジュール内のプロセッサを介して内部カウンタをスタートすることをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記内部カウンタに基づいて、前記感知された吸入または前記マウスピースカバーの動きをタイムスタンプすることをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記オフ状態または前記アクティブ状態にないときに、前記電子モジュールをスリープ状態に遷移させることをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記スイッチは、前記吸入器のハウジング内に少なくとも部分的に配置されたスライダによって係合される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記電子モジュールのセンサを介して、前記吸入器内の複数の大気圧を測定することをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 所定のイベントが検出されるまで、または前記マウスピースカバーが前記マウスピースを露出させるように移動された後、所定時間にわたって、複数の大気圧を測定することをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記電子モジュールを介して、前記複数の測定された大気圧に基づいて、1つまたは複数の吸入パラメータを決定することをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記吸入パラメータが:
ピーク流量;
ピーク流量までの時間;
吸入量;および
吸入時間
を含む、請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記吸入パラメータを外部デバイスに無線で送信することをさらに含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記電子モジュールが前記アクティブ状態にあるときに:
前記吸入器内の1つまたは複数の大気圧を測定すること;
1つまたは複数の測定された大気圧に基づいて吸入パラメータを決定すること;
前記吸入パラメータをローカルメモリに格納すること;
外部デバイスへ通知すること;および
前記吸入パラメータを前記外部デバイスへ送信すること、
のうちの少なくとも1つを実行することをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
