Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年10月19日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/747725号の優先権を主張する。
本発明は、電気外科用血管シーラに関し、より具体的には、人間工学の改善のためのオフセットピボットを有する血管シーラに関する。
電気外科用血管シーラは、外科手術中の血管の閉塞および出血の停止に使用される。血管シーラの顎部は、顎部間にクランプされた血管の乾燥および密封のために、高周波(RF)エネルギを顎部に選択的に供給できる電気外科用発電機に相互接続されている。従来の血管シーラは、ユーザの起動に応答してヒンジが可能である顎部を有する。例えば、顎部は、共通のヒンジピンに接続されたシャフトの端部上に位置付けられてもよく、その結果、シャフトの他方の端部に位置付けられたハンドルまたは指グリップをユーザが動かすことに応答して、顎部ははさみになる。しかしながら、この構造配置は、エネルギの喪失ならびに非効率的なクランプおよびユーザの手の疲労をもたらす不均衡な力に起因して、機械的に非効率的である。したがって、効率的な機械的クランプを提供すると共に、ユーザ人間工学を最適化する血管シーラのヒンジを改善する必要性がある。開腹手術については、顎先端の視野を最大化する必要性もある。はさみ様式のデバイスは、かさばる場合があり、外科医の視野を特定の方向で減少させる。
Claims (11)
- 第1の端部から第2の端部まで長手方向軸に沿って延び、前記第1の端部に関連付けられた顎部を有する第1のシャフトであって、前記第1のシャフトが、前記長手方向軸からオフセットされたその中間部分に沿って位置付けられたタングを含む、第1のシャフトと、
第1の端部から第2の端部まで延び、前記第1の端部と関連付けられた第2の顎部を有する第2のシャフトであって、前記第2のシャフトが前記第1のシャフトの前記タングに枢動可能に連結された、第2のシャフトと、を備える、電気外科用デバイス。 - 前記第2のシャフトが、前記第1のシャフトのピボットを受容する所定の長さを有するスロットを含む、請求項1に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトが、前記第2の端部から前記スロットまで第1の軸に沿って延びる第1の部分を含む、請求項2に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトが、前記スロットの前記所定の長さに対して第2の軸に沿って延びる第2の部分を含み、前記第2の軸が前記第1の軸に対して斜めである、請求項3に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトが、前記スロットから前記第1の端部まで第3の軸に沿って延びる第3の部分を含み、前記第3の軸が、前記第1の軸および前記第2の軸に対して斜めである、請求項4に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトが、前記スロットを画定する一対の側壁を含む、請求項5に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトの前記一対の側壁および前記第1のシャフトの前記タングを通って延びる枢動ピンをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトに沿って位置付けられた停止部をさらに備える、請求項7に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2のシャフトの前記第1の軸、前記第2の軸、および前記第3の軸が、前記第1の顎部と前記第2の顎部とが互いに接触するとき、前記第2のシャフトの前記第1の部分が前記第1のシャフトの前記停止部と接触するように方向付けられる、請求項8に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第1のシャフトに取り付けられ、前記停止部を支持する電気外科用コントローラをさらに備える、請求項9に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
- 前記第2の軸と第3の軸とが、互いに対して約28度で方向付けられる、請求項10に記載の電気外科用デバイス。
