Abstract
Description
前記バネの温度が第1温度より小さい場合に、前記第1接続部材と前記第2接続部材とが直接に電気的に接続され、
前記バネの温度が前記第1温度よりも大きい若しくは等しい場合に、前記第1接続部材、前記第1素子、前記バネ及び前記第2接続部材は直列回路を形成する。
前記バネは、前記第1素子と前記第2接続部材との間に位置する。
実施例1の電池セルは、図6に示すプロテクタ200を用いている。ここで、第1インピーダンス素子220と第2インピーダンス素子240の抵抗値がいずれも3mΩであり、実施例1の電池セルについて1C/10V過充電試験を行った。
実施例2の電池セルは、図2に示すプロテクタ200を用いている。ここで、PTCサーミスタ241の抵抗値が5mΩであり、実施例2の電池セルについて1C/10V過充電試験を行った。
実施例3の電池セルは、図4に示すプロテクタ200を用いている。ここで、電気抵抗242の抵抗値が4mΩであり、実施例3の電池セルについて1C/10V過充電試験を行った。
実施例4の電池セルは、図5に示すプロテクタ200を用いている。ここで、2つの電気抵抗242の抵抗値が何れも2mΩであり、実施例4の電池セルについて1C/10V過充電試験を行った。
Claims (10)
- 一方のタブと結合するための第1中継片と、
第1インピーダンス素子と、
前記第1インピーダンス素子及び前記第1中継片に結合された第2中継片と、
前記第1インピーダンス素子と前記第2中継片との間に接続された第2インピーダンス素子と、
を含むことを特徴とするプロテクタ。 - 前記第1インピーダンス素子は、第1接続部材と、第2接続部材と、第1素子と、バネとを含み、
前記バネの温度が第1温度より小さい場合に、前記第1接続部材と前記第2接続部材とが直接に電気的に接続され、
前記バネの温度が前記第1温度よりも大きい若しくは等しい場合に、前記第1接続部材、前記第1素子、前記バネ及び前記第2接続部材は直列回路を形成する、請求項1に記載のプロテクタ。 - 前記第1素子は、前記第1接続部材と前記バネとの間に位置し、
前記バネは、前記第1素子と前記第2接続部材との間に位置する、請求項2に記載のプロテクタ。 - 前記第1素子は、正温度係数のサーミスタである、請求項2に記載のプロテクタ。
- 前記第2インピーダンス素子は、電気抵抗を含む、請求項1に記載のプロテクタ。
- 前記第2インピーダンス素子の抵抗値は、1mΩよりも大きい若しくは等しい且つ10mΩよりも小さい若しくは等しいである、請求項5に記載のプロテクタ。
- 前記第2インピーダンス素子は、正温度係数のサーミスタである、または前記第1インピーダンス素子と同じである、請求項1に記載のプロテクタ。
- 前記第2インピーダンス素子を少なくとも2つ備える、請求項1に記載のプロテクタ。
- 請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のプロテクタと、前記第1中継片に結合されるタブが設けられた電池セル本体と、を備える電池セル。
- 請求項9に記載の電池セルを備えることを特徴とする電池。
