Abstract
Description
以下、EVOH樹脂組成物から形成されたEVOH顆粒の非限定的な製造方法を提供する。以下に開示される方法に似っている方法に従って、7つの非限定例のEVOH樹脂組成物(実施例EVOH1~7)および8つの比較例のEVOH樹脂組成物(比較例EVOH1~8)を調製した。しかしながら、実施例EVOH1~7および比較例EVOH1~8を調製する具体的方法は、通常1つまたは複数の態様で以下に開示される方法と異なる。
下記方法で実施例1~7のEVOHペレットをそれぞれ使用してフィルムを形成した。実施例1~7のEVOHペレットおよび比較例1~8のEVOHペレットを単層Tダイキャストフィルム押出機(光学制御システムMEV4)に送ってフィルムを製造した。実施例1~7のEVOHペレットおよび比較例1~8のEVOHペレットから形成されたフィルムの厚さは、各々20μmであった。押出機の温度を220℃に設定し、型(すなわち、Tダイ)の温度を230℃に設定した。スクリューの回転数は7rpm(rotations/minutes)であった。
実施例1~7のEVOHペレットおよび比較例1~8のEVOHペレットを評価してこれらのEVOHペレットおよびEVOHペレットから形成されたフィルムの特性を判断した。上記のように、上記実施例1に記載の方法に似っている方法で実施例1~7のEVOHペレットおよび比較例1~8のEVOHペレットを製造した。ただし、比較例1~8のEVOHペレットを製造する方法は、以下の点において製造されたEVOHペレットと異なる。
●重合反応の実験変更項目:重合温度、重合圧力、VAM/メタノール比。
●重合禁止剤添加の実験変更項目:重合禁止剤と開始剤の添加率、重合禁止剤の種類。
●重合して排出すると重合禁止剤の混合の実験変更項目:ミキサータイプ、ミキサーの長さ。
●残留モノマーストリッピング、アルカリ化、水を加えた後ろ過の実験的変更項目:ろ過するかどうか。
Claims (17)
- エチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレットであって、そのエチレン含有量が、24~35モル%であり、60%(w/w)メタノール水溶液に溶解された前記ペレットの濁度が300NTU未満であり;またはそのエチレン含有量が、36~48モル%であり、80%(w/w)メタノール水溶液に溶解された前記ペレットの濁度が200NTU未満である、エチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- エチレン含有量が、24~35モル%であり、60%(w/w)メタノール水溶液に溶解された前記ペレットの濁度が0.5~120NTUであり;またはエチレン含有量が、36~48モル%であり、80%(w/w)メタノール水溶液に溶解された前記ペレットの濁度が0.5~120NTUである、請求項1に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記ペレット中には、含有量1~850ppmの重合禁止剤が含まれる、請求項1に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記重合禁止剤の含有量が、5~650ppmである、請求項3に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記重合禁止剤が、共役ポリエン類である、請求項3に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記重合禁止剤がソルビン酸、ケイ皮酸、1,3-ヘキサジエンまたはミルセンである、請求項3に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記重合禁止剤の添加は、ミキサーで混合され、前記ミキサーがダイナミックミキサーまたはスタティックミキサーである、請求項3に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記ミキサーの長さと直径の比が、1.3~65L/Dである、請求項7に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 10~450ppm範囲のホウ素含有量を有する、請求項1に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- アルカリ金属、潤滑剤、アルカリ土類金属からなる群のいずれか1つまたはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 前記エチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレットのケン化度は、99.5モル%を超える、請求項1に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレット。
- 請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレットから形成される、エチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体フィルム。
- ISO 14663-2に準拠して温度23℃、相対湿度65%の条件で測定した前記フィルムの酸素透過率は、3.4cm3×20μm/m2×24Hr×atm未満である、請求項12に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体フィルム。
- 前記フィルム中のゲル数が、1180個/m2未満である、請求項12に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体フィルム。
- 前記フィルム中のゲル数が、600個/m2未満である、請求項12に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体フィルム。
- (a)請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のエチレン-ビニルエステル系共重合体ケン化物ペレットから形成された少なくとも1つの層と、
(b)少なくとも1つのポリマー層と、
(c)少なくとも1つの接着剤層と、
を含む多層構造。 - 前記ポリマー層は、例えば低密度ポリエチレン層、ポリエチレン-graft-マレイン酸無水物(polyethylene grafted maleic anhydride)層、ポリプロピレン層およびナイロン層からなる群から選択され、前記接着剤層が結合層(tie layer)である、請求項16に記載の多層構造。
