Description
本出願は、2018年6月22日に出願された米国特許出願第16/015,438号の優先権の利益を主張するものであり、この開示は参照によりその全体が本明細書に援用される。
本発明は、内視鏡外科手術、より具体的には、外科手術腔内で安定圧力を維持するために機械的に封止された外科手術アクセスポートと通信する、内腔から延在する内腔内でガスシールを生成するための内部または遠隔ガスシールモジュールを含む内視鏡外科手術処置において使用するための外科手術用ガス送達デバイスを対象とする。
Claims (11)
- 体腔内で内視鏡外科手術処置を実施するためのシステムであって、
a)加圧ガスをそこから延在するガス送達腔管に送達するためのポンプを有し、および送気ガスをそこから延在する送気腔管に送達するための送気装置を有する、ガス送達デバイス、
b)前記ガス送達デバイス外側の前記ガス送達腔管の遠位端と連通し、そこから延在するガスシール腔管内にガスシールを生成するように構成される、ガスシールモジュール、
c)前記ガスシール腔管の遠位端部分と連通する近位端部分を有するガスシールスリーブ、および、
d)前記ガスシールスリーブ内に同軸取り付けされるように構成され、前記外科手術腔へのシールされた器具のアクセスを提供し、前記送気腔管の遠位端と連通するバルブシール近位ハウジングを有する管状アクセスポートを備え、前記ガスシール腔管が前記外科手術腔と連通して安定圧力を維持し、前記外科手術腔内の排煙を促進するように、前記ガスシールスリーブの内面と前記管状アクセスポートの外面との間に環状チャネルが形成される、システム。 - シールリングが、前記環状チャネルの近位端を封止するための前記ガスシールスリーブの前記近位端部分と関連付けられる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 円周方向に離間した複数の流路が前記ガスシールスリーブの前記遠位端部分に形成され、前記環状チャネルと前記外科手術腔との間の連通を促進する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ガスシールモジュールから延在して前記ガス送達デバイス内の前記ポンプに戻るガス戻り腔管をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ガス送達腔管および前記ガス戻り腔管が、前記ガス送達デバイス内に受容するために寸法設定されかつ構成されたフィルタアセンブリと連通する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記ガスシールモジュールが、雰囲気から前記外科手術腔内への空気混入および前記外科手術腔から雰囲気へのガス放出を促進するための通気孔付きハウジングを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ガスシールモジュールが、前記ガス送達腔管から加圧ガスを受けて前記ガスシールを生成するためのジェットアセンブリを支持するハウジングを含み、前記ガスシールを生成するのに使用されたガスが、前記ガス戻り腔管を通して前記ガス送達デバイスに送り戻される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者の外科手術腔にアクセスする方法であって、
a)ガスシールスリーブを提供する工程、
b)バルブシールトロカールを前記ガスシールスリーブに取り付ける工程、
c)前記ガスシールスリーブを、前記取り付けられたバルブシールトロカールと共に前記患者の前記外科手術腔内に導入する工程を含む、方法。 - 前記ガスシール腔管を前記ガスシールスリーブに接続する工程をさらに含み、前記ガスシール腔管は、前記ガスシールスリーブを出入りする双方向ガス流に適合される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 送気腔管および検出腔管を前記バルブシールトロカールに接続する工程をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ガスシールスリーブを前記取り付けられたバルブシールトロカールと共に前記患者の前記外科手術腔内に導入する前記工程が、前記トロカールと共にオブチュレータまたはイントロデューサの使用を伴う、請求項8に記載の方法。
