- 自車両の周辺へ向けて選択的な光照射を行うための車両用灯具システムであって、
光源と、
前記光源からの光が入射する位置に配置される液晶素子と、
前記液晶素子から出射する光による像を前記自車両の周辺へ投影するレンズと、
を含み、
前記液晶素子は、
対向配置される第1基板及び第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と、
前記第1基板に設けられる第1電極及び第1引き回し配線部と、
前記第2基板に設けられて前記第1電極と対向配置される第2電極と、
を含み、
前記第1電極は、
平面視において第1方向に沿って配列された複数の第1個別電極部を有する第1電極パターン部と、
平面視において前記第1方向に沿って配列された複数の第2個別電極部を有し、前記第1方向と略直交する第2方向において前記第1電極パターン部と隣接して配置される第2電極パターン部と、
を含み、
前記第1引き回し配線部は、
各々が前記複数の第1個別電極部の何れかと接続される複数の第1個別引き回し配線と、
各々が前記複数の第2個別電極部の何れかと接続されており、前記複数の第1個別電極部の各々の前記第1方向における相互間の隙間を通して配置される複数の第2個別引き回し配線と、
を含む、
車両用灯具システム。 - 前記第2電極は、
平面視において前記第2方向に延びており、前記第1方向に沿って間欠的に配置される複数のスリット部と、
前記第1方向に沿って延在しており、前記複数のスリット部によって分離された電極部分同士を接続する渡り配線部と、
を有しており、
前記複数のスリット部の各々は、前記複数の第2個別引き回し配線の何れか1つ以上と平面視において重なるように配置され、
前記渡り配線部は、前記複数の第2個別電極部と平面視において重なるように配置される、
請求項1に記載の車両用灯具システム。 - 前記複数の第2個別電極部は、複数の菱形状及び/又は六角形状の個別電極部と、複数の三角形状の個別電極部及び/又は複数の逆三角形状の個別電極部を有しており、当該各個別電極部は、各々の有する辺の1つ以上が前記第1方向と交差するように配置される、
請求項1又は2に記載の車両用灯具システム。 - 前記複数の三角形状の個別電極部の各々は、前記複数の逆三角形状の個別電極部の何れか1つと対をなして前記第2方向に隣接して配置される、
請求項3に記載の車両用灯具システム。 - 前記複数の三角形状の個別電極部及び/又は前記複数の逆三角形状の個別電極部の各々と、前記複数の菱形状及び/又は六角形状の個別電極部の各々とが前記第1方向において交互に配置される、
