Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 印刷システムにおいて、
複数の印刷ヘッドにおける各印刷ヘッドがマーキング材料を吐出するように構成された複数の印刷ヘッドと、
第1の端部及び第2の端部を有し、前記複数の印刷ヘッドが部材に対向し且つ前記部材の前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間に配置される部材と、
オブジェクトを保持し且つ前記部材の前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間において前記部材に沿って移動するように構成されたホルダと、
前記複数の印刷ヘッドにおける前記印刷ヘッドからのマーキング材料を受けるために前記オブジェクトが前記印刷ヘッドを越えて移動するのを可能とするようにアクチュエータが前記部材に沿って前記ホルダを移動させるように前記ホルダに動作可能に接続されたアクチュエータと、
前記部材の前記第1の端部と前記複数の印刷ヘッドとの間に配置され、前記オブジェクトが前記複数の画像形成装置を通過するのにともない、前記複数の画像形成装置における各画像形成装置が前記画像形成装置に対向する前記オブジェクトの一部の画像データを生成するように構成された複数の画像形成装置と、
前記複数の印刷ヘッド、前記アクチュエータ、及び前記複数の画像形成装置に動作可能に接続され、前記部材に沿って前記ホルダ及び前記オブジェクトを移動させるように前記アクチュエータを動作させ、前記オブジェクトが前記複数の画像形成装置に対向したことに応答して前記オブジェクトの画像データを生成するように前記画像形成装置を動作させ、前記画像形成装置から受信した前記生成された画像データを参照してオブジェクトプロファイルを生成し、前記生成されたオブジェクトプロファイルを参照して前記複数の印刷ヘッドの前記印刷ヘッド内のイジェクタを動作させるように構成されたコントローラと
を備える、印刷システム。 - 前記複数の画像形成装置が、複数のカメラにおける各カメラによって生成された前記画像データを前記コントローラに配信するために前記コントローラに動作可能に接続された複数のカメラである、請求項1に記載の印刷システム。
- 前記複数の印刷ヘッドにおける前記印刷ヘッドが固定印刷ヘッドである、請求項2に記載の印刷システム。
- 前記コントローラが、第1の頻度で前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタよりも前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタを動作させ、第2の頻度で前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタを動作させるようにさらに構成されており、前記第1の頻度が前記第2の頻度よりも高い、請求項3に記載の印刷システム。
- 前記複数の印刷ヘッドから吐出されたUV硬化性マーキング材料を硬化させるようにUV範囲内の光を発光するように構成された紫外線(UV)ランプ
をさらに備える、請求項3に記載の印刷システム。 - プリンタを動作させる方法において、
ホルダに取り付けられた部材に沿って前記ホルダ及び前記ホルダ内に固定されたオブジェクトを移動させるように前記ホルダに動作可能に接続されたアクチュエータをコントローラによって動作させることと、
前記オブジェクトが複数の画像形成装置に対向したことに応答して前記オブジェクトの画像データを生成するように複数の画像形成装置を前記コントローラによって動作させることと、
前記複数の画像形成装置から受信した前記生成された画像データを参照してオブジェクトプロファイルを前記コントローラによって生成することと、
前記生成されたオブジェクトプロファイルを参照して前記複数の印刷ヘッド内のイジェクタを前記コントローラによって動作させることと
を備え、前記複数の印刷ヘッドにおける前記印刷ヘッドが固定印刷ヘッドである、
方法。 - 前記複数の画像形成装置の動作が、
前記画像データを生成するように前記コントローラによって複数のカメラを動作させること
をさらに備える、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 第1の頻度で前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタよりも前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタを前記コントローラによって動作させることと、
第2の頻度で前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタを動作させることと
をさらに備え、前記第1の頻度が前記第2の頻度よりも高い、
請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタからのマーキング材料の液滴が前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタから吐出された液滴と同時に前記オブジェクトに到達するのを可能とするように、前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタを動作させる前に前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタよりも前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタを前記コントローラによって動作させること
をさらに備える、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタからのマーキング材料の液滴が前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタから吐出された液滴と同時に前記オブジェクトに到達するのを可能とするように、前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタを動作させる前に前記オブジェクトに近いイジェクタよりも前記オブジェクトから遠いイジェクタを前記コントローラによって動作させること
をさらに備える、請求項7に記載の方法。
