Abstract
Description
本発明は、通常はガソリン中に見られる低沸点のC4〜C10のアルカン、アルケン、シクロアルカン、及びアレーンなどの脂肪族炭化水素成分を含む無鉛ピストンエンジン燃料(無鉛アブガス)、並びにブレンドして航空目的の優れたエンジン及び操作性能を与える98以上のモーターオクタン価を有する独特のアブガス配合物を製造するための、酸素ベースのヘテロ原子化合物、特にETBEの使用に関する。これらの独特の燃料は、(a)優れたピストンエンジンの燃焼及び排気特性、(b)オクタン価向上剤として用いられる芳香族アミン又は金属と比べて低い環境毒性、及び(c)航空機燃料系統において用いられる材料との選択的に高い燃料適合度を有することが示されている。
航空ガソリン又はアブガスは、地上車用ガソリンと比べて数多くの特別な要件を有する。航空ガソリン(「アブガス」と呼ばれる)は、航空機を推進するための火花点火(レシプロ)ピストンエンジンにおいて用いられる航空燃料である。アブガスは、自動車及び一部の軽量航空機において用いられる日用的なガソリンである自動車燃料(モーガス)から区別される。

イソオクタン/アルキレート:50〜75%;
芳香族化合物含量:0〜5%。
(イソ)ブタン:0〜3%;
(バイオ)ETBE:20〜40%;
イソオクタン/アルキレート:50〜75%;
芳香族化合物含量:0〜5%;
250ppm以下のフェロセン。
(イソ)ブタン:0〜3%;
(バイオ)ETBE:20〜40%;
イソオクタン/アルキレート:50〜75%;
クミジン:0〜5%。
40%(m/m)の最大量のバイオ−ETBEを用いると、UL100の再生可能燃料は98のモーターオクタン価を達成し、これはアンチノック性能を向上させるために必要な芳香族化合物含量を用いないで十分な異常燃焼防止性を与える。この配合物中に酸素化物及び鉄を存在させるために、同等のアンチノック性能が98+のMONと共に達成されると予測される。
Claims (15)
- ピストンエンジン燃料配合物であって:
約50〜約75重量%のC4〜C10脂肪族炭化水素;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
場合によっては約3重量%以下のイソブタン;
場合によっては約5重量%以下のC6〜C12芳香族炭化水素;及び
場合によっては約250ppm以下のフェロセン;
を含み、鉛含有成分を含まない、前記ピストンエンジン燃料配合物。 - C6〜C12芳香族炭化水素を実質的に含まない、請求項1に記載の燃料配合物。
- 5重量%以下の量のクミジンを更に含む、請求項1に記載の燃料配合物。
- C6〜C12芳香族炭化水素を実質的に含まない、請求項3に記載の燃料配合物。
- 約52〜約80重量%のC4〜C10アルキレート;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
3重量%以下の量のイソブタン;
場合によっては5重量%以下のC6〜C12芳香族炭化水素;及び
約250ppm以下の量のフェロセン;
から実質的に構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約57〜約80重量%のC4〜C10アルキレート;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
3重量%以下の量のイソブタン;及び
約250ppm以下の量のフェロセン;
から実質的に構成される、請求項1に記載の燃料配合物。 - ピストンエンジン燃料配合物であって:
約58〜約78重量%のイソオクタン;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
を含み、鉛含有成分を含まない、前記ピストンエンジン燃料配合物。 - 約58〜約78重量%のイソオクタン;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
から実質的に構成される、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約58〜約78重量%のイソオクタン;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
から構成される、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約58重量%のイソオクタン;
約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
を含み、約101.0のMONを有する、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約58重量%のイソオクタン;
約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
から実質的に構成される、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約58重量%のイソオクタン;;
約40重量%のETBE;
約2重量%のイソブタン;及び
約250ppmのフェロセン;
から構成される、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。 - 約5重量%以下のC6〜C12芳香族炭化水素を更に含む、請求項7に記載の燃料配合物。
- ピストンエンジン燃料配合物であって:
約50〜約75重量%のC4〜C10アルキレート;
約20〜約40重量%のETBE;
場合によっては約3重量%以下のイソブタン;及び
5重量%以下の量のクミジン;
を含み、鉛含有成分を含まない、前記ピストンエンジン燃料配合物。 - 約53重量%のイソオクタン;約40重量%のETBE;約2重量%のイソブタン;及び約5重量%のクミジン;を含む、請求項14に記載のピストンエンジン燃料配合物。
