Claims (25)

- 前記くさび形部材が、螺旋雄ねじを有するテーパー構成を備える、請求項8に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記くさび形部材の前記ねじが、前記くさび形部材を前記トラッキングに沿って案内するために前記隆起部材の間隙に受容される、請求項9に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記くさび形部材の小径部が前記隆起部材の上端と係合する、請求項10に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記トラッキングが一対のトラッキング路を備え、第1のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第1の側面領域に配置され、第2のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第2の側面領域に配置され、各トラッキング路が第1および第2の一連の隆起部材を有し、各一連の隆起部材が前記トラッキング路の中央部分から遠位にかけて増大する高さの隆起部材を有し、くさび形部材の対が各トラッキング路に受容されて駆動シャフトと係合可能であり、前記くさび形部材の対が前記対のうちの第1のくさび形部材の螺旋方向が前記対のうちの第2のくさび形部材の螺旋方向に対して逆になるように配置されることによって、前記くさび形部材を接続する前記駆動シャフトが回転したときに前記対の前記第1および第2のくさび形部材が前記トラッキング路内で互いに対して逆方向に移動する、請求項9に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のトラッキング路内の前記対のくさび形部材が前記第2のトラッキング路内の前記対のくさび形部材から独立して動作可能であることによって、前記シェルの前記第1の側面領域を前記シェルの前記第2の側面領域から独立して拡張させ、前記シェルの前記上部部材を角度傾斜させることが可能である、請求項12に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- ロッキング部材が、前記駆動シャフトの回転を選択的に防止するように前記駆動シャフトと係合可能である、請求項12に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 椎体間に配置するための脊椎インプラントデバイスであって、
拡張可能なシェルと、
複数のくさび形部材と、
複数の駆動シャフトと、
操作ツールとを備え、
前記拡張可能なシェルが上部部材および下部部材を備え、前記上部部材および下部部材のそれぞれが前記くさび形部材を受容するためのトラッキングを有し、前記駆動シャフトが前記くさび形部材を前記トラッキングに沿って移動させるために前記くさび形部材と動作可能に係合可能であり、前記操作ツールが前記くさび形部材の動きを制御するように前記駆動シャフトと動作可能に係合可能であり、前記くさび形部材が前記上部部材および前記下部部材に係合することによって前記上部部材および前記下部部材が前記トラッキングに沿った前記くさび形部材の移動に応じて互いに対して移動して前記シェルの拡張を行う、脊椎インプラントデバイス。 - 第1のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第1の側面領域に配置され、第2のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第2の側面領域に配置され、第1の駆動シャフトが前記第1のトラッキング路内に配置され、第2の駆動シャフトが前記第2のトラッキング路内に配置され、前記第1の駆動シャフトおよび前記第2の駆動シャフトが互いに独立して動作可能であり、前記操作ツールは両方の駆動シャフトが前記操作ツールと動作可能に係合される第1の状態と前記第1の駆動シャフトだけが前記操作ツールと動作可能に係合される第2の状態との間で選択的に係合可能であり、前記操作ツールが前記駆動シャフトとの係合について前記第2の状態で操作されて各くさび形部材が前記トラッキングに沿ってそれぞれ異なる位置に移動されたとき、前記シェルの前記第1の側面領域の拡張の度合いが前記シェルの前記第2の側面領域の拡張の度合いに対して独立して調整可能である、請求項15に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記トラッキングが複数の隆起部材を備え、個々の隆起部材の高さが前記トラッキングに沿って増大することによって、前記くさび形部材が前記隆起部材の増大する高さに沿って移動するにつれて前記上部部材および下部部材をより大きな度合いで互いに離隔するように移動させる、請求項16に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記くさび形部材が、螺旋雄ねじを有するテーパー構成を備える、請求項17に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記くさび形部材の前記ねじが、前記くさび形部材を前記トラッキングに沿って案内するために前記隆起部材の間隙に受容される、請求項18に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記くさび形部材の小径部が前記隆起部材の上端と係合する、請求項19に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記トラッキングが一対のトラッキング路を備え、第1のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第1の側面領域に配置され、第2のトラッキング路が前記シェルの第2の側面領域に配置され、各トラッキング路が第1および第2の一連の隆起部材を有し、各一連の隆起部材が前記トラッキング路の中央部分から遠位にかけて増大する高さの隆起部材を有し、くさび形部材の対が各トラッキング路に受容されて駆動シャフトと係合可能であり、前記くさび形部材の対が前記対のうちの第1のくさび形部材の螺旋方向が前記対のうちの第2のくさび形部材の螺旋方向に対して逆になるように配置されることによって、前記くさび形部材を接続する前記駆動シャフトを回転させるように前記操作ツールが操作されたときに前記対の前記第1および第2のくさび形部材が前記トラッキング路内で互いに対して逆方向に移動する、請求項18に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記第1のトラッキング路内の前記対のくさび形部材が前記第2のトラッキング路内の前記対のくさび形部材から独立して動作可能であることによって、前記シェルの前記第1の側面領域を前記シェルの前記第2の側面領域から独立して拡張させ、前記シェルの前記上部部材を角度傾斜させることが可能である、請求項21に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- ロッキング部材が、前記駆動シャフトの回転を選択的に防止するように前記駆動シャフトと係合可能である、請求項21に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記操作ツールが前記第1および第2の駆動シャフトとそれぞれ動作可能に係合するための第1および第2のトルクシャフトを備え、前記操作ツールが前記第1のトルクシャフトに動作可能に接続されたハンドル部材を有し、前記第1および第2のトルクシャフトが歯車部材によって動作可能に接続され、前記歯車部材が係合されているときには前記ハンドル部材による前記第1のトルクシャフトの回転が前記第2のトルクシャフトの回転を引き起こす、請求項16に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
- 前記歯車部材が選択的に係合解除可能であることによって、前記操作ツールが操作されたときに前記第1のトルクシャフトだけが回転する、請求項24に記載の脊椎インプラントデバイス。
