PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thixotropic composition applicable for antibacterial, bactericidal, sterilization, antivirus, antifungal, deodorization use and the like.SOLUTION: There is obtained a thixotropic composition by mixing a clay mineral such as laponite, a hypochlorite such as sodium hypochlorite, a chloride dioxide precursor such as sodium chlorite, water, a surfactant such as a polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil as necessary and a perfume or a medicinal herb component.SELECTED DRAWING: None

Description

  The present invention relates to a thixotropic composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a thixotropic composition applicable to antibacterial, sterilizing, sterilizing, antifungal, antiviral, deodorizing and the like.

  Various compositions have been proposed which have a property that the viscosity continues to decrease if the shearing force continues to be applied, and gradually returns to its original value when left standing, so-called thixotropy. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a bleaching composition containing an alkali metal hypochlorite salt, an alkali agent, and an inorganic clay mineral. Patent Document 2 discloses a fungicide composition obtained by blending sodium montmorillonite with an aqueous solution containing hypochlorite and chlorate as active ingredients. U.S. Patent No. 6,099,077 discloses a mold removal composition containing hypochlorite, sepiolite minerals, caustic soda, sodium alkyl sulfonate, and high alkyldihydroxyalkylamine oxide. Patent Document 4 discloses a composition containing hypochlorite, an oxidizing alkali agent, an anionic surfactant, a zwitterionic surfactant, and a sepiolite-based mineral. These compositions of Patent Documents 1 to 4 seem to be effective for bleaching and mold removal.

  By the way, chlorine dioxide is a normal temperature gaseous substance having a bactericidal action. It has been proposed that this chlorine dioxide be generated in a timely manner and used for cleaning, deodorizing, antibacterial, disinfecting and the like. For example, U.S. Patent No. 6,057,051 discloses a cleaning agent containing chlorite, acid source, phosphate and swellable clay. Patent Document 6 discloses that a hydrogen salt, a gas generation regulator, and a water-absorbing resin are added to an aqueous chlorite solution or a stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution and gelled to continuously generate chlorine dioxide gas. A method of generating is disclosed. Patent Document 7 discloses a composition containing a desiccant such as chlorite, silica gel, and a porous mineral such as zeolite.

  An object of the present invention is to provide a thixotropic composition applicable to antibacterial, sterilization, sterilization, antifungal, antiviral, deodorant and the like.

  As a result of intensive studies to solve this problem, the present invention including the following aspects has been completed.

[1] A thixotropic composition containing a clay mineral, a hypochlorite, a chlorine dioxide precursor, and water.
[2] The composition according to [1], wherein the hypochlorite is sodium hypochlorite.
[3] The composition according to [1] or [2], wherein the chlorine dioxide precursor is chlorite or stabilized chlorine dioxide.
[4] The composition according to any one of [1] to [3], wherein the clay mineral is laponite.
[5] The composition according to any one of [1] to [4], further containing a fragrance.
[6] The composition according to any one of [1] to [5], further containing a dispersion stabilizer.
[7] The composition according to [6], wherein the dispersion stabilizer is polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention is applicable to antibacterial, sterilizing, sterilizing, antifungal, antiviral, deodorizing and the like. The thixotropic composition of the present invention has a low workability during application of shear and good workability such as coating. On the other hand, since it has a high viscosity in a stationary state, it does not drip even when applied to a vertical surface.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention contains a clay mineral, a hypochlorite, a chlorine dioxide precursor, and water.

  Examples of the clay mineral used in the present invention include smectite clays such as bentonite, montmorillonite, laponite, beidellite, hectorite, stevensite, sauconite, and nontronite, vermiculite, halloysite, and swelling mica. Of these, laponite is preferred. The clay mineral has a thickening effect when dispersed in water. The amount of the clay mineral is preferably 0.5 to 10 parts by mass, more preferably 1 to 8 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of water.

  Examples of the hypochlorite used in the present invention include sodium hypochlorite, potassium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite and the like. Hypochlorite has a strong oxidizing power and is a substance known as a bleach component or a disinfectant component. The amount of hypochlorite is preferably 0.001 to 5 parts by mass, more preferably 0.01 to 4 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of water.

  The chlorine dioxide precursor used in the present invention is a substance capable of generating chlorine dioxide gas. Specific examples of the chlorine dioxide precursor include chlorites such as sodium chlorite, potassium chlorite, and magnesium chlorite, stabilized aqueous chlorine dioxide, and pure neutral aqueous chlorine dioxide. When hypochlorite acts on chlorite, chlorine dioxide may be generated. Since the chlorine oxide precursor is commercially available in aqueous solution, it can be used. The amount of the chlorine dioxide precursor is preferably 0.0005 to 5 parts by mass, more preferably 0.005 to 3 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of water.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention may contain a fragrance or a herbal ingredient (herb or the like) as a component other than the above. Perfumes include water-based and oil-based ones. The amount of the fragrance or the herbal ingredient is preferably 0.0005 to 5 parts by mass, more preferably 0.005 to 1 part by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of water.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention can contain a dispersion stabilizer. In particular, when a fragrance is contained, it is preferable to contain a dispersion stabilizer. As dispersion stabilizers, anionic dispersion stabilizers such as polycarboxylic acid, naphthalene sulfonic acid formalin condensation, polycarboxylic acid partial alkyl ester, alkyl sulfonic acid, polyphosphate, and the like; polyalkylene polyamine, four Cationic dispersion stabilizers such as quaternary ammonium and alkylpolyamines; Nonionic dispersion stabilizers such as polyethylene glycols, polyethers, higher alcohol alkylene oxides, and polyhydric alcohol esters; Amphoteric dispersion stabilizers And the like. Of these, nonionic dispersion stabilizers are preferred, and polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil is more preferred. The amount of the dispersion stabilizer is preferably 0.001 to 5 parts by mass, more preferably 0.01 to 2 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of water. Addition of a dispersion stabilizer increases the dispersion stability of the clay mineral, fragrance or oily substance in the composition.

  The water used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but soft water is preferable, and ion exchange water is more preferable. The amount of water in the composition is not particularly limited as long as the viscosity of the composition can be within a desired range.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention is not particularly limited by its preparation method. For example, it can be obtained by adding hypochlorite, clay minerals, and, if necessary, perfumes and surfactants to an aqueous solution of a chlorine oxide precursor, and further adding water for viscosity adjustment. In the present invention, it is preferable that the clay mineral is uniformly dispersed in the composition to form a colloid.

  The thixotropic composition of the present invention can be sprayed in a spray. As the spray, a trigger type, a manual pump type, an electric pump type, a high pressure gas type, a pneumatic type, a pressure accumulation type, a venturi type, or the like can be used. Further, the thixotropic composition of the present invention can be applied with a brush or a spatula. After application to the object, the viscosity of the composition increases and the coating film is less likely to sag from the object.

  EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples, but the scope of the present invention is not limited by these examples.

Example 1
3 parts by mass of stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution (chlorine dioxide 50000 ppm, manufactured by DuPont), 2 parts by mass of 12% sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution, 7 parts by mass of Laponite XLG (by BYK), and 88 parts by mass of ion-exchanged water In combination, a thixotropic composition was obtained. The thixotropic composition was placed in a trigger spray. The thixotropic composition was sprayed on the garbage. A sensory test was conducted by 10 evaluators. Ten of the 10 evaluators made a determination that there was a deodorizing effect.

Example 2
Stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution (chlorine dioxide 50000 ppm, manufactured by DuPont) 0.2 parts by mass, 12% sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution 0.5 parts by mass, Laponite XLG (by BYK) 3 parts by mass, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil 0.5 parts by mass, 0.3 parts by mass of a floral fragrance, and 95.5 parts by mass of ion-exchanged water were mixed to obtain a thixotropic composition. The thixotropic composition was placed in a trigger spray. The thixotropic composition was sprayed on the garbage. A sensory test was conducted by 10 evaluators. Eight out of 10 evaluators made a determination that there was a deodorizing effect.

Comparative Example 1
0.5% by weight of 12% aqueous sodium hypochlorite solution, 3 parts by weight of Laponite XLG (manufactured by BYK), 0.5 part by weight of polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, 0.3 part by weight of floral flavor, 7 parts by mass were mixed to obtain a thixotropic composition. The thixotropic composition was placed in a trigger spray. The thixotropic composition was sprayed on the garbage. A sensory test was conducted by 10 evaluators. Comparative Example 2

  As the above results show, the composition containing only sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution as the active ingredient, and the composition containing only stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution as the active ingredient, sodium hypochlorite as the active ingredient The thixotropic composition of the present invention containing an aqueous solution and a stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution has an excellent deodorizing effect. Furthermore, the synergistic action of the sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution and the stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution has a high effect not only in deodorization but also in antibacterial, sterilization, sterilization, antifungal, antiviral and the like.

  6.   The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5, further comprising a dispersion stabilizer.
  7.   The composition according to claim 6, wherein the dispersion stabilizer is polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil.
