Abstract
Description
導電性は、試料を金属で被覆し、試料に電極を連結することにより測定される。本発明者らは、得られる値が使用する金属、及び金属被覆厚に応じて変化するため、測定は、同一金属を用いた試料で行い、実質的に同じ厚みの金属層を設けなければならないことを理解している。
本発明の未硬化熱硬化性樹脂組成物と面積重量268g/m2の炭素IM7繊維を含有するプリプレグは、実験パイロットプリプレグラインで調製した。熱硬化性樹脂は、三官能性エポキシ樹脂(Huntsman社製)、ビスフェノール−Fエポキシ及び44DDS硬化剤の混合物を含有していた。樹脂は、熱硬化性樹脂に溶解させた、ポリエーテルスルホン(PES)の形態の熱可塑性添加剤を含有していた。さらに、製品は、調製された熱硬化性樹脂(これはまた添加剤粒子も含有している)の全重量に対して13.5重量%の濃度で、ポリアミドPA6(ナイロン6)の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。熱可塑性粒子の体積平均直径は、Coulter測定(レーザー回析分析)によって判定した場合に20ミクロンであった。プリプレグは、上述した方法1に従って生産した。本発明者らは、この材料のZ方向導電率が1〜6S/mの範囲にあることを観察した。
この製品は、実施例1と組成が同一のプリプレグである。しかし、この製品は、2本の粗面延展機バー(RSB)と、さらなる平滑繊維延展バー(NFS)により繊維トウを折り重ねるステップを含む方法によって生産される。粗面延展機バーは、粗度が約0.1ミクロンである平滑延展機バーに対して、表面の粗度が4ミクロンである。繊維を含浸ラインに供給する前に、繊維トウは、繊維層内に波状の表面を形成する延展機バーの周囲のNFSパターンにおいて、粗面延展機バーを含む延展機バー配置を通過させる。繊維延展の後に、一方向性繊維トウは、ニップローラー間にそれが供給された場合に、繊維の一方の側面で2つの樹脂フィルムによって含浸される。この材料の「Z」方向導電率は、4〜15S/mの範囲にあり、硬化された疑似等方性積層物の顕微鏡写真から観察されるように、繊維は破壊されている。
プリプレグは、例1、1aの方法と同様の方法で生産した。ただし、今回は、導電性粒子も例1、1aのプリプレグに加えた。
異なる量の導電性粒子を含むプリプレグ(20m×0.3m)は、実施例1、1a、1bで使用したパイロットプリプレグラインで、一方向性炭素繊維の連続層を供給し、導電性粒子と熱可塑性強化剤粒子(Arkema製のRilsan PA11又はOrgasol PA6)を含有する硬化性樹脂の2つの層と接触させることにより、いわゆるツーフィルム方法で製造した。
この製品は、未硬化熱硬化性樹脂及び炭素繊維IMAを含有するパイロットプリプレグライン上で生産されたプリプレグである。繊維の面積重量は268g/m2であった。さらに、製品は、熱硬化性樹脂に対して13.5重量%の濃度でPA11の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。
この製品は、未硬化熱硬化性樹脂及び炭素繊維IMAを含有するプリプレグであった。繊維の面積重量は268g/m2である。さらに、製品は、熱硬化性樹脂に対して13.5重量%の濃度でPA6の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。またプリプレグは、熱硬化性樹脂に対して1重量%の濃度でPSG SG25/99.95SCを含有していた。この製品は、(Sラップ)2フィルム法を使用して生産した。
これらのプリプレグは、繊維の面積重量が268g/m2であった。これらの製品は、熱硬化性樹脂に対して9.5重量%の濃度でPA11の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。またプリプレグは、熱硬化性樹脂に対して1から4重量%の間の種々の濃度のPSG SG25/99.95SCを含有していた。この製品は、図1に示す(S−ラップ)2フィルム法を使用して生産した。
これらのプリプレグは、実施例3のように、面積重量が268g/m2の繊維層を使用して調製した。これらのプリプレグは、調製した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して9.5から13.5重量%までの濃度でPA11の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。プリプレグは、調製した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して3重量%の間の濃度でPSG SG25/99.95SCを含有している。この製品は2フィルムニップ法を使用して生産した。
このプリプレグは、例3に関して、面積重量が268g/m2の繊維層を使用して調製した。この製品は、調製した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して10.5重量%の濃度でPA6の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有していた。プリプレグは、調製した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して3重量%の濃度のPSG SG25/99.95SCを含有していた。この製品は、2フィルムニップ法を使用して生産した。
このプリプレグは、例3に関して、面積重量が268g/m2の繊維を使用して調製した。製品は、熱硬化性樹脂に対して10.5重量%の濃度でPA11の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有している。プリプレグは、製造した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して3重量%の濃度でPSG GHDR−15−4を含有する。この製品は、2フィルムニップ法を使用して生産した。
これらのプリプレグは、例3に関して、面積重量が268g/m2の繊維層を使用して調製した。製品は、製造した熱硬化性樹脂に対して10.5重量%の濃度でPA11の形態の熱可塑性粒子を含有する。プリプレグは、ポテト形状ではなく平面形状の黒鉛粒子を含有しており、これは、製造した熱硬化性樹脂重量に対して3重量%の濃度で使用した。これらの製品は、2フィルムニップ法を使用して生産した。
例3、12及び15から、さらに100メートルのプリプレグを生産した。機械的特性は、いかなる導電性粒子も含まないで形成された同一積層体と比較した。0.25mmの硬化層の厚みは、繊維面積重量が268gsmの繊維についてであると想定された。
プリプレグは、半商業的なプリプレグラインで面積重量が268g/m2の織物の層を使用して調製した。製品は、10.5重量%のPA11、3重量%のポテト形状の黒鉛HDR−15−4及びSG 25/99.95SCを含有した。方法1及び方法2を使用し、4点導電性は技術2によってのみ測定した。
Claims (37)
- 繊維強化硬化性樹脂を含むプリプレグであって、プリプレグが樹脂に対して0.5から10重量%までの範囲の導電性粒子を含有し、導電性粒子がポテト形状の黒鉛を含む、上記プリプレグ。
- 1から8重量%のポテト形状の黒鉛を含有する、請求項1に記載のプリプレグ。
- 強化剤を含有する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のプリプレグ。
- 強化剤が熱可塑性粒子である、請求項3に記載のプリプレグ。
- 樹脂に対して5から20重量%までの熱可塑性粒子を含有する、請求項4に記載のプリプレグ。
- 強化剤がポリアミドである、請求項3から5までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- ポリアミドが140℃と240℃の間の融点を有する、請求項6に記載のプリプレグ。
- 強化剤粒子が100ミクロン未満の粒径を有する、請求項3から7までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- 粒径が5から60ミクロンまでの範囲である、請求項8に記載のプリプレグ。
- 45容量%から75容量%までの繊維を含有する、請求項1から9までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- 繊維が炭素繊維、ガラス繊維又はアラミドから選択される、請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- 繊維が破壊されている、請求項1から11までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- 硬化性樹脂がエポキシ樹脂である、請求項1から12までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- テープを含む、請求項1から13までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグ。
- 0.5から4.5重量%までのポテト形状の黒鉛を含有している繊維強化硬化性樹脂を含むプリプレグ。
- 粒子状強化剤を含有する、請求項15に記載のプリプレグ。
- 航空機部品を製造するための、請求項1から16までのいずれか一項に記載のプリプレグの使用。
- 繊維強化樹脂を含む複合体であって、複合体が樹脂に対して0.5から10重量%までの範囲の導電性粒子を含有しており、導電性粒子がポテト形状の黒鉛を含む、上記複合体。
- 1から8重量%までのポテト形状の黒鉛を含有する、請求項18に記載の複合体。
- 強化剤を含有する、請求項18又は請求項19に記載の複合体。
- 強化剤が熱可塑性粒子である、請求項20に記載の複合体。
- 樹脂に対して5から20重量%までの熱可塑性粒子を含有する、請求項21に記載の複合体。
- 強化剤がポリアミドである、請求項20から22までのいずれか一項に記載の複合体。
- ポリアミドが140℃と240℃の間の融点を有する、請求項22に記載の複合体。
- 粒子が100ミクロン未満の粒径を有する、請求項18から24までのいずれか一項に記載の複合体。
- 粒径が5から60ミクロンまでの範囲である、請求項25に記載の複合体。
- 45容量%から75容量%までの繊維を含有する、請求項18から27までのいずれか一項に記載の複合体。

- 部品が胴体の少なくとも一部である、請求項31に記載の使用。
- 強化剤及びポテト形状の黒鉛を含有する硬化性樹脂。
- 強化剤がポリアミドである、請求項33に記載の硬化性樹脂。
- 樹脂がエポキシ樹脂である、請求項33又は請求項34に記載の硬化性樹脂。
- エポキシ樹脂と、樹脂に対して0.5から10重量%のポテト形状の黒鉛と、樹脂に対して5から15重量%の強化剤とを含む、請求項33から35までのいずれか一項に記載の硬化性樹脂。
- エポキシ樹脂用の硬化剤を含有する、請求項35又は請求項36に記載の硬化性樹脂。
