Claims (15)
- LEDと共に使用するための光学素子であって、
前記LEDからの入射光を受ける底面と、
前記底面から上面への方向に延び、光軸を定める法線を有する上面であって、
前記上面は前記光軸に対して第1の角度範囲を対象として含むように延び、その外側では前記LEDの少なくとも1つの点によって発せられる第1の角度範囲の光が前記上面の仮想的延長部において全反射を免れず、
前記上面が前記LEDから生じる光を前記光軸から離れるように屈折させる第1の光学構造の第1のパターンを含む、
上面と、
前記底面と前記上面との間に延び、前記LEDから生じる光を前記光軸の方向に屈折させる複数の側面と
を含む、光学素子。 - 前記複数の側面が前記光軸に対して傾けられる、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記複数の側面の少なくとも1つが、前記光軸に対して異なる傾斜を有する第1の部分及び第2の部分を含む、請求項2に記載の光学素子。
- 全ての側面が前記光軸に対して同じ傾斜を有する、請求項2に記載の光学素子。
- 全ての側面が同じ幾何学的寸法を有する、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記上面の前記第1のパターンが前記複数の側面の少なくとも1つに広がる、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1の角度範囲の外側に延びる第2の角度範囲を専ら対象として含むように延びる前記上面の延長部分を更に含み、前記上面の前記延長部分は、前記光軸に対して90度を上回る角度を形成するように方向付けられる上面を有する第2の光学構造を含む第2のパターンを含む、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1の光学構造は、前記光軸に対して90度未満の角度を形成するように方向付けられる上面をそれぞれ有し、前記角度は前記上面の中心までの距離が長くなるにつれ増加する、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1の光学構造が、鋸歯状の形をした断面を有する、請求項8に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1の光学構造が、一次元パターンで配置される、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- 前記第1の光学構造が、二次元パターンで配置される、請求項1に記載の光学素子。
- LEDと一体化して形成される請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載の光学素子を含む、発光装置。
