Abstract
【解決手段】Fe粒子を含む超硬材からなる摩擦攪拌接合用ツール(10、210)である。このFe粒子の粒径は10μm以下である。摩擦攪拌接合用ツール(10、210)は、高い硬度を有するとともに、表面からのFe粒子の脱落を抑制する。また、脱落跡(25)が小さく、摩擦攪拌接合時においてアルミニウム材が脱落跡(25)に進入しにくい。従って、摩擦攪拌接合用ツール(10、210)は、アルミニウム材と凝着しにくく、高い耐摩耗性を有する。

前記Fe粒子の粒径が10μm以下である。
図1〜3を参照して実施の形態1について説明する。図1は実施の形態1にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの模式図である。図2は実施の形態1にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの一例の要部断面の写真である。図3〜5は実施の形態1にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの一例の要部表面の写真である。図6は摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの一例の要部表面の写真である。
次に、図7〜10を用いて、摩擦攪拌接合用ツール10による摩擦攪拌接合方法について説明する。図7〜10は、実施の形態1にかかる接合方法の模式図である。
次に、図11を用いて、実施の形態1にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの実施例及びその比較例について試作実験した結果について説明する。図11は、打点数に対するせん断破断径である。
次に、図12及び13を用いて、実施の形態2にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールについて説明する。図12は、実施の形態2にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの模式図である。図13は、実施の形態2にかかる摩擦攪拌接合用ツールの要部の模式図である。なお、図12及び図13では、交換式プローブ202の正面及び側面を模試的にそれぞれ示しており、ネジ部221は、簡便のため同一内容で描画した。
