Abstract
Description
(1)リップをモールドリップにし、リップ摺動部全体に梨地を追加し、リップ表面粗さを大きくする。梨地は、型に放電加工をすることにより与えられる。
(2)梨地を追加することにより、流体潤滑効果が良くなり、トルクが低減する。梨地による粗さにより、すぼまり隙間で油膜が厚くなり、拡がり隙間でエアレーションがおきやすい効果がある。

Claims (4)
- 軸受の外輪および内輪間の開口部に装着されて軸受外部の異物が軸受内部へ侵入するのを抑制する密封装置であって、前記外輪に取り付けられる取付環と前記取付環に保持されるとともに前記内輪に対して摺動可能に密接するシールリップとを有する密封装置において、
前記シールリップは、リップ基端部から径方向内方であってかつ軸受内側へ向けて斜めに成形された第1斜面部と、前記第1斜面部の先端から径方向内方であってかつ軸受外側へ向けて斜めに成形された第2斜面部とを一体に有し、
前記第2斜面部を前記内輪に対する摺動部とし、
前記摺動部に前記摺動部の表面粗さを大きくする梨地加工が施されていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1記載の密封装置において、
前記第1斜面部および前記第2斜面部を一体に有する前記シールリップは、断面略く字状の形状とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1または2記載の密封装置において、
前記第2斜面部の先端は前記取付環の内周端部厚み面と同じ軸方向位置に配置されるとともに前記第2斜面部の残りの部位および前記第1斜面部は前記取付環の内周端部厚み面よりも軸受内側に配置され、
前記第1斜面部はその基端から先端へかけて厚み寸法が徐々に縮小する形状とされるとともに前記第2斜面部はその基端から先端へかけて厚み寸法が略一定の形状とされていることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1、2または3記載の密封装置において、
前記取付環は、金属環であって、前記外輪の内周面に金属嵌合されることを特徴とする密封装置。
