Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer polyolefin stretched film, and a multilayer polyolefin stretched film produced thereby.
Generally, a multilayer polyolefin stretched film such as a polypropylene (PP) film or a polyethylene (PE) film is often used for packaging materials, lamination coatings (laminate sheets) and the like. Besides these PP and PE films, there are polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films, but PVC films emit harmful substances such as dioxins when incinerated, and PET films are not cost-effective and can be recycled. There are difficulties.
As a result, a multi-layer polyolefin stretched film that is advantageous in terms of cost efficiency, reproducibility, and the like, in particular, a multi-layer biaxially stretched polypropylene film (BOPP film; Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film) is often used. The BOPP film is advantageous in terms of cost efficiency and reproducibility, as well as mechanical properties such as tensile strength, rigidity, surface hardness, impact strength, optical properties such as glossiness and transparency, and non-toxicity. Therefore, it is useful for packaging materials (food packaging materials, etc.) and lamination coatings (laminate sheets).
FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of a general conventional BOPP film, and FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a method for manufacturing a BOPP film according to the prior art.
Referring to FIG. 1, a BOPP film generally includes a PP layer as a
For example, the BOPP film as described above is used for lamination coating (laminate sheet). Specifically, a recognition object such as a photograph, an identification card, a printed matter or a menu board is inserted between two BOPP films, followed by heat fusion. When used as a film for lamination coating (laminate sheet) or a packaging film (for example, for packaging foods, etc.), the
2, when manufacturing a BOPP film having the above-described structure, the skin
Conventionally, in manufacturing a BOPP film having a multilayer structure, as described above, the extrusion, cooling, longitudinal stretching, and transverse stretching processes are continuously performed, for example, as shown in FIG. A multilayer film having a structure of PP layer / PP layer / PP (or PE) layer is produced.
Further, after the multilayer film is manufactured through the continuous process as described above, the
Therefore, in laminating the
Thus, conventionally, when laminating the
The present invention is a multi-layer polyolefin that can be laminated by a continuous process even in the case of a functional resin having a low melting point, has a simple manufacturing process, requires less time, and can reduce the production unit price of the product. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a stretched film. Moreover, this invention intends to provide the multilayer polyolefin stretched film obtained by the said method.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a first extrusion step for performing extrusion of a multilayer polyolefin film; a first cooling step for cooling the first extruded film; and the first cooled film in a longitudinal direction. A longitudinal stretching step of stretching; a second extrusion molding step of extruding so that one or more resin layers are laminated on the longitudinally stretched film; a second cooling step of cooling the film laminated with the resin layer And a method for producing a stretched multilayer polyolefin film comprising a transverse stretching step of stretching the second cooled film in the transverse direction.
In an exemplary embodiment, in the second cooling step of the film laminated with the resin layer, air flow grooves are formed in the resin layer using a cooling roll having an uneven structure on the surface. .
In another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a multilayer polyolefin stretched film manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention.
According to the method for producing a stretched multilayer polyolefin film of the embodiment of the present invention, the additional extrusion / cooling step (that is, the second extrusion / second cooling step) is performed after the longitudinal stretching, and the resin layer is laminated through the additional extrusion. Thus, even in the case of a resin having a low melting point, lamination through extrusion is possible. By this method, a multilayer polyolefin film can be manufactured by laminating a multilayer including a resin layer through continuous extrusion. As a result, the manufacturing process is simple and requires less time, and the unit production cost of the product can be reduced.

3 and 4 are schematic structural views of a stretched multilayer polyolefin film according to an embodiment of the present invention.
3 and 4, the stretched film according to the embodiment is laminated on the multilayer film F with a multilayer polyolefin film having two or more layers (F, which may be simply referred to as “multilayer film” hereinafter).
Here, the multilayer film F is obtained by simultaneously laminating two or more layers through extrusion, and each layer contains at least a polyolefin resin as a base resin (main raw material). For example, the multilayer film F may have a stack of 2 to 5 layers, more specifically 3 to 4 layers. In an exemplary embodiment, the multilayer film F includes a
In an exemplary embodiment, the multilayer film F includes three layers, that is, a skin
The stretched film may include a
As will be described below, the
FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating an apparatus for implementing a method according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is shown for illustrative purposes, and various embodiments other than those shown in FIG. 5 are possible.
Referring to FIG. 5, the manufacturing apparatus includes a first extruder 100-1, a
The method for manufacturing a stretched multilayer polyolefin film according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first extrusion step of extruding the multilayer polyolefin film F; a first cooling step of cooling the extruded multilayer film F; Longitudinal stretching step of stretching the first cooled multilayer film F along the longitudinal direction; extrusion molding is performed on the multilayer film F stretched in the longitudinal direction so that one or more resin layers 40 are laminated. A second extrusion step; a second cooling step for cooling the multilayer film F on which the
In the first extrusion step, the multilayer film F is extruded through the first extruder 100-1. Specifically, the multilayer film F is provided by extrusion so that two or more layers are laminated at the same time. Here, the first extruder 100-1 has a number of extrusion portions corresponding to the number of layers of the multilayer film F, and each layer is laminated in an extrusion die (Dies). For example, when the multi-layer film F having a three-layer structure constituted by the skin
Further, for extrusion molding of the multilayer film F, a polyolefin resin composition may be charged into the first extruder 100-1. The polyolefin resin composition includes one or more polyolefin resins as a base resin (main raw material). The polyolefin resin is not particularly limited. Preferably, one or more selected from PP and PE may be used. The polyolefin resin may be one or more copolymers selected from ethylene and propylene, specifically, an ethylene-methacrylic acid binary copolymer or an ethylene-methacrylic acid-ester ternary. A copolymer or the like may be used, but is not limited thereto.
On the other hand, the polyolefin resin composition contains at least a polyolefin resin, but may further contain other resins and other additives as necessary. In a non-limiting exemplary embodiment, the polyolefin resin composition is used in an amount of 0 to 40 parts by weight, more specifically 5 to 20 parts of other resins and other additives with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin. Part by weight may be included. As the additive, those commonly used in the art may be used. Preferably, one or more selected from a slip agent, an antiblocking agent, an antistatic agent and the like can be mentioned as examples. Specific types of such additives are described in detail below.
In providing the multilayer film F that has passed through the first extrusion step, each layer may be formed of the same raw material or different raw materials. For example, as seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
In the first extrusion step of the multilayer film F, the outermost layer of the multilayer film F, that is, the skin
The slip agent can impart slip (or releasability), such as silicon, siloxane, silane, wax, and the like. One or more selected from oleic acid amide and the like may be used. In addition to the above listed slip agents, any slip agent can be used as long as it can impart lubricity to the surface of the stretched film and reduce the coefficient of friction. The slip agent is not particularly limited, but may be used in an amount of 0.1 to 20 parts by weight, particularly 2 to 12 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin.
The anti-blocking agent can prevent adhesion between adjacent films by forming a small space at the interface with the adjacent film, and examples of such anti-blocking agents include silica ( One or more selected from the group consisting of inorganic material particles such as silica), diatomaceous, kaoline, talc and the like may be included. Such an anti-blocking agent is not particularly limited, but is the same content range as the slip agent, specifically 0.1 to 20 parts by weight, more specifically 2 to 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin. Up to 12 parts by weight may be used.
Moreover, when forming the multilayer film F through said 1st extrusion, it is preferable to adjust the thickness of each layer appropriately. For example, referring to FIG. 3, the multilayer film F has a three-layer structure constituted by the skin
Referring to FIG. 5, the multilayer film F extruded through the first extrusion as described above is passed through the
Subsequently, the first cooled multilayer film F is transferred to the
After the longitudinal stretching, the multilayer film F continuously undergoes an additional extrusion process (second extrusion step) and a cooling process (second cooling step). The
In the embodiment, the material forming the
According to the embodiment, the
Specifically, in the embodiment, as the
As described above, according to the embodiment, the
For example, the antistatic agent may include a polyamide resin and ethylene glycol (EG), and as a commercialized product, IRAGASTT (trademark) P18 manufactured by German CIBA may be used. The antistatic agent may be selected from conductive polymers. Examples of conductive polymers include polyacetylene, poly (p-phenylene vinylene), poly (p-phenylene), poly (thienylene vinylene), polythiophene, polyaniline, polyethylenedioxythiophene, polyisothianaphthene, polypyrrole and polypyrrole. One or more selected from the group consisting of (p-phenylene sulfide) and the like may be included.
The antistatic agent may be used in the material of the
On the other hand, when imparting antistatic performance (antistatic properties) to the stretched film, a method of including (adding) an antistatic agent in the multilayer film F, for example, including (adding) it to the skin
Since the antistatic agent is a resin having a low molecular weight and a low melting point, it may ooze out on the surface of the multilayer film F over time. At this time, when the antistatic agent is contained in the multilayer film F, the antistatic agent oozes out in the longitudinal stretching (MDO) step to contaminate the surface of the roll R, and eventually contaminates the surface of the multilayer film F ( (Whitening phenomenon) occurs. Further, it has been pointed out that the antistatic performance deteriorates due to the loss of the antistatic agent, that is, the loss on the surface of the roll R or the multilayer film F.
However, as described above, when the antistatic agent is included in the
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the material of the
Moreover, as a raw material of the said
Specific types of the slip agent and the antiblocking agent are as described above. For example, in the case of the slip agent, 0.1 to 20 parts by weight, more specifically, 2 to 12 parts by weight, respectively, may be included with respect to 100 parts by weight of the base resin. In the case of the anti-blocking agent, it may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 20 parts by weight, more specifically 2 to 12 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the base resin.
In the second extrusion step, the thickness T40 of the
Referring to FIG. 5, the multilayer film F on which the
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in the second cooling step, the
At this time, the air flow groove provides an air flow passage, and effectively prevents wrinkles from approaching during winding. That is, the air existing between the films during winding is effectively prevented from getting out through the air flow grooves and becoming wrinkled. There are many airflow grooves, and the shape is not limited. The air flow grooves may be formed on the surface of the
The air flow groove is formed in the second cooling step. At this time, the air flow groove is formed by using a
The air flow grooves may be easily removed when the stretched film is commercialized or used. Specifically, the stretched film (product) wound around the
Referring to FIG. 5, the film that has undergone the second cooling step is transferred to the
As described above, the stretched film stretched in the transverse direction may be commercialized after being wound on the
According to the present invention described above, as described above, after the longitudinal stretching, the second extrusion step and the second stretching step are performed between the longitudinal stretching step and the lateral stretching step without immediately performing the transverse stretching as it is. The
In addition, the stretched film manufactured according to the embodiment of the present invention can be used for various packaging materials, labels, lamination coatings (laminate sheets), and the like. For example, it can be used in various ways such as packaging materials for foods, electronic products, pharmaceuticals, etc., lamination coatings (laminate sheets) such as photographs, identification cards, printed materials, menu boards, and labels.
On the other hand, the multilayer polyolefin stretched film according to the embodiment of the present invention is manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention as described above, and the layer structure and the structure of each layer are as described above.

As shown in the above [Table 1], when laminating a resin layer (EVA layer), in the case of lamination through in-line extrusion according to an embodiment of the present invention, a conventional thermal lamination film (Comparative Examples 1 and 2) In contrast, it was found to have equivalent or higher interlayer adhesion strength.
