Claims (14)
- 無線電力受信装置における異物を検出する方法において、
最初充電前に異物検知動作を実行するステップ;
充電が開始される時まで異物が検知されない場合、単方向通信又は双方向通信を利用して充電中に異物検知動作を実行するステップ;及び、
前記充電中の異物検知動作で異物が検知されない場合、検知されない微細な異物を温度センサで検知して電力を制限するステップ;を含む方法。 - 前記最初充電前の異物検知動作は、
ピングフェーズでデジタルピングを実行する無線電力送信装置から動作点の電力信号を受信するステップ;
前記動作点の電力信号を受信した強度を指示する信号強度パケットを生成して前記無線電力送信装置に送信するステップ;
前記無線電力受信装置の固有IDを指示する識別パケット及び前記無線電力受信装置の構成情報を生成して前記無線電力送信装置に送信するステップ;
受信電力を測定し、初期電圧を設定するステップ;及び、
前記初期電圧がホールド状態であり、前記初期電圧の定常状態の値が所定基準電圧範囲内に存在する場合、異物検出フェーズに進入して異物状態パケットを生成して無線電力送信装置に送信するステップ;を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記単方向通信を利用する充電中の異物検知動作は、

充電モードで一次コイルに電力を印加して誘導磁場又は共振を発生させた前記無線電力送信装置から、測定された送信電力を指示する送信電力測定報告を受信するステップ;
前記受信された送信電力値と測定した受信電力値との差に基づいて異物を検知するステップ;及び、
前記異物の検知結果を含むASK信号を前記無線電力送信装置に送信するステップ;を含む請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記送信電力測定報告は、FSK方式を利用して送信されるFSK信号で送信され、
前記FSK信号は、AC電流信号によって前記一次コイルで生成される電力を測定した送信電力量を含む請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記FSK信号は、所定周期ごとに繰り返し送信され、

- 異物を検出する無線電力受信装置であって、
無線電力送信装置に具備された一次コアブロックと磁気誘導又は磁気共振により結合することによって無線電力を前記無線電力送信装置から受信する二次コアブロック;
前記二次コアブロックに連結され、前記二次コアブロックで生成されるAC波形に対する全波整流を実行して制御ユニットと外部負荷に電力を提供する整流ユニット;及び、
前記外部負荷に連結される出力端子の初期電圧を測定し、前記初期電圧が基準電圧範囲に存在する場合、前記無線電力受信装置を異物検出フェーズ(phase)に進入するように制御する制御ユニット;を含み、
前記制御ユニットは、
最初充電前に異物検知動作を実行し、又は充電が開始される時まで異物が検知されない場合、単方向通信又は双方向通信を利用して充電中に異物検知動作を実行し、又は前記充電中の異物検知動作で異物が検知されない場合、検知されない微細な異物を温度センサで検知して電力を制限することを特徴とする無線電力受信装置。 - 前記制御ユニットは、
充電モードで一次コイルに電力を印加して誘導磁場又は共振を発生させた前記無線電力送信装置から、測定された送信電力を指示する送信電力測定報告を受信し、前記受信された送信電力値と測定した受信電力値との差に基づいて異物を検知し、前記異物の検知結果を含むASK信号を前記無線電力送信装置に送信するように制御して前記双方向通信を利用する充電中の異物検知動作を実行する請求項9に記載の無線電力受信装置。 - 前記送信電力測定報告は、FSK方式を利用して送信されるFSK信号で送信され、
前記FSK信号は、AC電流信号によって前記一次コイルで生成される電力を測定した送信電力量を含む請求項10に記載の無線電力受信装置。 - 前記FSK信号は、所定周期ごとに繰り返し送信され、
