Abstract
【解決手段】金属製のケーシングと、ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、を備えた電池モジュールであって、ケーシングは、その外表面に、絶縁層8と、導通部であるリベット11と、を備える。また、外表面に絶縁層8が形成された金属製のケーシングと、ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、を備えた電池モジュールの絶縁検査方法であって、前記ケーシングの外表面に設けられた導通部であるリベット11を介して絶縁検査を行う。

Description
なお、このような金属製のケーシングは、通常、ケーシングの表面にコーティングを施すことにより、ケーシングの錆等を防止するようにしている。

前記ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、
を備えた電池モジュールであって、
前記ケーシングは、その外表面に、絶縁層と、導電部と、を備えたものである。
前記リベットの一端は、前記凹部内に収納されるのが好ましい。
外表面に絶縁層が形成された金属製のケーシングと、
前記ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、
を備えた電池モジュールの絶縁検査方法であって、
前記ケーシングの外表面に設けられた導電部を介して行うものである。
胴部材5の側壁に内面から外方に向かって凹部9を形成し、その中央部分に貫通孔10を形成する。また、胴部材5の表面にカチオン電着塗装により絶縁層8を形成する。そして、形成された貫通孔10の内周面から絶縁層8を除去し、胴部材5を露出させる。そこで、胴部材5の外面側から貫通孔10にリベット11を挿通し、凹部9内で加締ることにより胴部材5に固定する。この状態では、リベット11は、貫通孔10の内周面で胴部材5と直接接触し、絶縁層8を貫通して外部に頭部を露出させる。また、胴部材5の内面に絶縁シート12を貼着する。この場合、リベット11の加締部分は、胴部材5の凹部9内に位置し、その表面からは露出していない。したがって、絶縁シート12の貼着作業をスムーズに行うことができる。また、絶縁シート12にリベット11の一部が接触して、絶縁シート12を傷付けることもない。

Claims (7)
- 金属製のケーシングと、
前記ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、
を備えた電池モジュールであって、
前記ケーシングは、その外表面に、絶縁層と、導電部と、を備えたことを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記導電部は、前記ケーシングに固定される金属部材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記導電部は、前記ケーシング及び前記絶縁層を貫通した状態で、前記ケーシングに固定されるリベットであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ケーシングの内面には、外方に向かって窪む凹部が形成され、
前記リベットの一端は、前記凹部内に収納されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記導電部は、前記ケーシングの一部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ケーシングと前記電池セルとの間に配置される絶縁シートを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 外表面に絶縁層が形成された金属製のケーシングと、
前記ケーシング内に収容される電池セルと、
を備えた電池モジュールの絶縁検査方法であって、
前記ケーシングの外表面に設けられた導電部を介して行うことを特徴とする電池モジュールの絶縁検査方法。
