Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a sheet peeling apparatus and a sheet peeling method for peeling an adhesive sheet affixed to an adherend.
Conventionally, in the semiconductor manufacturing process, there is a process of attaching an adhesive sheet to the surface (surface on which a circuit is formed) of a semiconductor wafer (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as a wafer) and grinding the back surface in order to reduce the size of the semiconductor chip. The adhesive sheet is peeled off after cutting. As such a peeling apparatus for an adhesive sheet, an apparatus for peeling by peeling a peeling tape adhered to an end of the adhesive sheet has been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
In the conventional peeling apparatus as described in Patent Document 1, when the tape for peeling is lost and replaced with a new tape for peeling, the residue such as the core of the peeling tape that has been used is removed and newly replaced. A new stripping tape must be installed and this new stripping tape must be hung again in the apparatus. And while performing such a tape exchange operation, since the operation of a peeling apparatus must be stopped, there exists a problem that the capability per unit time that the said peeling apparatus peels an adhesive sheet will reduce. .
Thus, for example, it is conceivable to use a roll label automatic joining device described in
However, in the automatic joining device as described in the above-mentioned
The objective of this invention is providing the sheet | seat peeling apparatus and sheet | seat peeling method which can be appropriately joined even if it is the peeling tape which the adhesive surface exposed on one side.
In order to achieve the above object, the sheet peeling apparatus of the present invention applies a peeling tape having an adhesive surface exposed on one surface to an adhesive sheet affixed to an adherend and applies tension to the peeling tape. A sheet peeling apparatus for peeling the adhesive sheet from the adherend by applying, a feeding means for feeding at least one of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape, the first peeling tape and the first peeling tape A connecting means for bringing the other end region of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape into contact with one end region of the two peeling tape, and the first peeling tape or the second peeling tape; A sticking means for sticking the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape to the adhesive sheet; and a moving means for applying a tension to the peeling tape by relatively moving the peeling tape stuck to the adhesive sheet and the adherend. And the connecting means sprays gas on one terminal region of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape to the other end of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape. A configuration in which gas blowing means for joining the tip regions is provided is adopted.
Under the present circumstances, in the sheet peeling apparatus of this invention, it is preferable that the said gas spraying means sprays a hot air as gas.
On the other hand, in the sheet peeling method of the present invention, the peeling tape having an adhesive surface exposed on one side is stuck to an adhesive sheet stuck on an adherend and tension is applied to the peeling tape. A sheet peeling method for peeling the adhesive sheet from an adherend, the step of feeding out at least one of a first peeling tape and a second peeling tape, and one of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape. A step of bringing gas into contact with each other when the other end region of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape are joined to the terminal region, and the first peeling tape; Alternatively, the step of attaching the adhesive surface of the second release tape to the adhesive sheet, and the release tape attached to the adhesive sheet and the adherend are moved relative to each other to stretch the adhesive tape. It employs a configuration that has a step of applying a.
According to the present invention as described above, the gas blowing means for connecting the other tip region to the one terminal region of the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape by providing the gas is provided. Even if it is a peeling tape whose adhesive surface is exposed on the surface, the inconvenience that the adhesive layer of the first peeling tape or the second peeling tape adheres to the contact body is prevented, Can be connected.
At this time, if hot air is blown onto the peeling tape and joined together, the fluidity of the adhesive can be improved, and the joining between the first peeling tape and the second peeling tape can be performed reliably.

[Operation of sheet peeling device]
Next, as a peeling method of the adhesive sheet AS in the present embodiment, the operation of the sheet peeling apparatus 1 will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, as shown in FIG. 1, the first peeling tape PT1 is supported by the
When the moving
Next, the sticking means 4 drives the
Next, the moving means 5 drives the
When the above operation is repeated and the remaining amount of the first peeling tape PT1 decreases as shown in FIG. 2A, and the
Then, the removing means 64 drives the
Thereby, the second peeling tape PT2 connected to the first peeling tape PT1 is sequentially fed out, and the peeling of the adhesive sheet AS by the second peeling tape PT2 similar to the first peeling tape PT1 is continued. While the peeling is performed by the second peeling tape PT2, the operator removes the residue such as the paper tube of the first peeling tape PT1 remaining on the
Further, the peeling operation of the adhesive sheet AS by the second peeling tape PT2 is repeated, and as shown in FIG. 2B, the remaining amount of the second peeling tape PT2 decreases, and the
Then, the removing
Thereby, the 1st peeling tape PT1 connected with the 2nd peeling tape PT2 is drawn | fed out sequentially, and peeling of the adhesive sheet AS similar to the above is continued.
2 (A) and 2 (B), the portion where the first peeling tape PT1 and the second peeling tape PT2 overlap in the connecting portion PTX in two layers is formed on the adhesive sheet AS by the sticking means 4. When the part is fed to the position where it is applied, this part is not applied by the applying means 4, and is cut and discarded by the
According to this embodiment as described above, the following effects are obtained.
That is, since the gas blowing means 63 for joining the other tip region is provided in one terminal region of the first peeling tape PT1 and the second peeling tape PT2 by blowing hot air, the adhesive surface is provided on one surface. As the first detection means 33A and the second detection means 33B for detecting the terminal area of the peeling tape PT, for example, the color or magnetism provided in the terminal area of the peeling tape PT is detected, or the peeling tape PT A known method can be applied, such as detecting the end region by counting the number of rotations of the winding core and detecting the feeding amount of the peeling tape PT.
Furthermore, although hot air was blown from the gas blowing means, the configuration may be such that air is simply blown.
Further, in the case where the peeling tape PT has an adhesive force (exhibits) with energy rays such as ultraviolet rays, infrared rays, microwaves, and ultrasonic waves, instead of the heating means, an ultraviolet ray irradiation device, an infrared ray irradiation device, and a microwave irradiation device. An energy beam irradiation device such as an ultrasonic beam irradiation device or a combination thereof may be used as appropriate, or the energy layer may be irradiated in advance with the energy beam irradiation device, and the adhesive layer AD increases the adhesive force. In such a state, gas may be blown to join them together.
