Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an automatic accompaniment apparatus for an electronic keyboard instrument that detects accompaniment content accompanying a keyboard operation and automatically accompanies it.
As a kind of electronic keyboard instrument with automatic accompaniment function, the keyboard device is divided into a chord detection key range and a normal performance key range, and according to the key operation of the chord detection key range (accompaniment area) It is known that an accompaniment sound is automatically generated by performing chord detection, while a normal musical sound (melody sound) is generated in response to a key operation in a general performance key area (a melody performance area). .
More specifically, the accompaniment sound is generated in the electronic keyboard instrument as follows. That is, first, code detection is performed according to the key pressing pattern in the code detection key area. In this code detection, a code (consisting of a code root and a code type) corresponding to the key pressing pattern is detected. Next, the automatic accompaniment pattern data stored in advance in the storage means is read out, the chord is developed according to the detected chord, and the developed data is sent to the sound source so that an accompaniment sound is generated. Yes.
In such an electronic keyboard instrument, the chord detection method can select a mode in which any chord is determined from the time when one key is pressed (such as a one-finger mode to be described later), and a mode in which a chord is determined when three or more keys are pressed. There is. Furthermore, in the latter chord detection method, chord detection of 3 or more keys is performed on the keyboard from the split point to the bass side, and fingering for changing chords or 3 or more keys on all keyboards is detected. There is a full keyboard mode in which the code is detected and the code is changed.
In addition, when a fraction code detection mode switch is provided and the fraction code detection mode is set, there is one that detects based on the lowest sound of the depressed key. The fraction code is, for example, “C / B”, the numerator code is the code of the upper part (code part) of the score, and the denominator code is the code of the lower part (base part) of the score.
In the mode in which the chord is determined from three or more key presses, only the denominator of the chord (hereinafter referred to as the base route) is changed when the key is pressed with two or less keys, and the base route can be freely set with the numerator code fixed. Some can be specified.
However, it is generally assumed that keyboard instruments, especially pianos, play bass lines and chords with the left hand, and melodies and counter lines with the right hand. In the full keyboard mode, chord detection is performed even for melody movements. However, accompaniment changes were made along with it, and there was a big problem that the performance was not intended by the performer.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and detection of chords of three or more keys is performed on all the keyboards as in the full keyboard mode, and the melody flow is detected even in the mode of changing chords. Another object of the present invention is to provide an automatic accompaniment device for an electronic keyboard instrument in which chord detection is not performed one by one and no extra accompaniment changes are made.
The configuration of the apparatus according to the present invention is as follows:
A chord is detected based on a key pressed state in an area including at least an accompaniment area and a melody performance area of a keyboard having a plurality of keys, and automatic accompaniment is performed based on the detected chord. In an automatic accompaniment device for electronic keyboard instruments,
The entire area including the area where the accompaniment is performed and the area where the melody performance is performed is set as a first detection mode which is the detection target of the chord detection, and a part of the area where the accompaniment is detected is the chord detection target. A second detection mode to be detected, and setting means for switching and setting these detection modes;
When the first detection mode is set by the setting means, it is determined whether or not the key pressed state in the detection target area corresponds to any of the first code group. First discrimination means;
First selecting means for selecting a corresponding code in the first code group when the first determining means determines that the first code group is one of the first code groups;
When the second detection mode is set by the setting means, it is determined whether or not the key pressed state in the detection target area corresponds to any of the second code group. A second discriminating means;
Second selecting means for selecting a corresponding code in the second code group when the second determining means determines that the second code group is one of the second code groups;
Automatic accompaniment means for performing automatic accompaniment based on the chord selected by the first or second selection means,
When the number of codes belonging to the first code group is set to be smaller than the number of codes belonging to the second code group, and the first detection mode is set by the setting means, the first discrimination means Is determined to be a previously selected code when it is determined that is not one of the first chord group.
According to the above configuration, the number of codes belonging to the first code group is reduced from the number of codes belonging to the second code group, and in the first detection mode, the first determination means performs the first code determination. When it is determined that the chord is not one of the groups, it is determined that the chord has been previously selected. Is reduced, the number of accompaniment changes is reduced and accompaniment playback is stabilized.
In the above configuration, the first determination unit determines the second code group and selects a corresponding code in the second code group, and the selected code is the first code group. If the code group is not included in one code group, it is preferable to have a discarding unit that discards the selection result.
This is because, in the first detection mode, the discard unit (code filter or the like) discards codes that should not be discriminated, that is, converts them into no codes, thereby substantially reducing the number of codes to be detected. Thus, the number of accompaniment changes is reduced, and accompaniment playback becomes more stable.
When the first or second selection means does not select any chord, the automatic accompaniment may be continued based on the chord selected last. As a result, accompaniment playback is further stabilized.
According to the configuration of the above invention, the number of codes belonging to the first code group is reduced from the number of codes belonging to the second code group, and in the first detection mode, the first discrimination means When it is determined that the chord group is not one of the chord groups, it is determined that the chord has been previously selected. Therefore, even if chord detection is performed for each movement of the melody, it is substantially detected as described above. By reducing the number of chords to be played, the number of accompaniment changes is reduced and the accompaniment reproduction is stabilized.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described. This embodiment will be described as further applicable in the configuration of the applicant's previous application.
Therefore, the problems, configurations, effects, and the like of the previous application will be described before the configuration of the embodiment will be described.
Some electronic keyboard instruments include an automatic accompaniment device that detects chords by inputting from a keyboard and converts an automatic accompaniment pattern built in accordance with the detected chords to perform.
The chord detection method includes a mode in which a chord is determined from the time when one key is pressed (such as a one-finger mode, which will be described later), a mode in which a chord is determined when the key is pressed, etc. (such as fingered or full keyboard mode, which will be described later) There is something that can be selected.
In the mode in which the code is determined from 3 keys, only the denominator of the code (hereinafter referred to as the base route) is changed when the key is pressed with 2 keys or less, and the base route can be freely specified with the numerator code fixed. There is.
However, in the configuration having the fraction code detection mode switch, it is necessary to set the mode switch to ON or OFF in advance. When the mode switch is switched during performance, the code detection method detects the fraction code. There was a possibility that the performance would be unnatural.
There has been a demand for a player who can reflect the fractional chord performance in the automatic accompaniment without being aware of such switch ON / OFF (mode switching / parameter setting).
Therefore, in the configuration of the earlier application of the present applicant, the performer can reflect the fractional chord performance in the automatic accompaniment without being aware of the fraction chord detection mode switch ON / OFF (mode switching / parameter setting). A possible fraction code determination device configuration has been provided.
That is, the composition of the earlier application is
A configuration for determining a fraction code according to a key press, wherein a first area for detecting a base route of the fraction code in a keyboard having a plurality of keys, and a route different from the base route in the keyboard And a second area for detecting a code comprising: a fractional code determination device that determines the fractional code by detecting the base route and the code according to a key depression state in each area. Yes,
First setting means for setting the first area in accordance with a lowest key-pressing sound made on a keyboard having the plurality of keys;
Discriminating means for discriminating whether or not to determine the fraction code according to the number of key presses in the first area;
When the determination means determines that the fractional code is determined, a lower limit sound provided in accordance with the lowest key-pressed sound made on the keyboard and a sound key higher than the first region Second setting means for setting, in the second area, an upper limit sound provided according to the lowest sound among the key depressions made;
A bass route is determined according to the key depression state in the first region, and a chord having a route different from the base route is determined according to the key depression state in the second region, and automatic accompaniment is performed according to this fractional chord. And a control means.
According to the above configuration, the determining means determines whether or not to use the fraction code according to the number of times the keyboard is pressed in the first area, and the determining means determines that the fraction code is determined. In this case, the second setting means performs the lower limit sound provided according to the lowest key-pressing sound made on the keyboard and the key-pressing made on the keyboard sounding higher than the first region. Is set to the second area between the upper limit sound provided according to the lowest sound of the sound and the control means controls the bass route according to the key depression state in the first area and the second sound. A chord having a route different from the base route is determined depending on the key depression state in the area, so that a fraction code is automatically detected, and automatic accompaniment can be performed according to the fraction code. It made.
The following configuration is a configuration that clarifies the above configuration. Specifically,
A configuration for determining a fraction code according to a key press, wherein a first area for detecting a base route of the fraction code in a keyboard having a plurality of keys, and a route different from the base route in the keyboard And a second area for detecting a code comprising: a fractional code determination device that determines the fractional code by detecting the base route and the code according to a key depression state in each area. Yes,
First setting means for setting the first region to a sound higher than the lowest sound or the lowest sound by the N1 key expressed by the
Discriminating means for determining that the fraction code is determined when the number of key presses in the first area is 2 keys or less, and for determining that the fraction code is not determined when the number of presses is 3 keys or more. When,
When the determination means determines that the fractional code is determined, it is made for the lower limit sound that is higher than the lowest sound by the N2 key shown in the following
A bass route is determined according to the key depression state in the first region, and a chord having a route different from the base route is determined according to the key depression state in the second region, and automatic accompaniment is performed according to this fractional chord. And a control means.
(Equation 1) 1 <N1
(Equation 2) 1 <N2
(Equation 3) 1 <N3
In the above configuration, the first area set by the first setting means is set to a sound that is higher than the lowest sound or the lowest sound by N1 keys. Also, when determining whether or not the code is a fraction code by the determining means, if the number of key presses in the first area is 2 keys or less, the code is determined as the fraction code, and if the number of presses is 3 or more keys, Is not determined to be the fraction code. Further, when the determining means is determined to be the fraction code, the second area set by the second setting means is a sound that is higher by N2 keys than the lowest key pressed on the keyboard. The second area is set between the lower limit sound and the upper limit sound that is N3 keys higher than the lowest sound of the key presses made on the keyboard of a sound higher than the first area. It will be.
In both the above configurations, the base route is the pitch name corresponding to the key press in the first area by the control means, and the key pressed most recently is the lowest key press made on the keyboard. When the range is within a predetermined range above the sound, the pitch name of the pressed key is determined as a base route, and when the pressed key is outside the range, the pitch name of the lowest key is determined Is preferably determined as a base route.
This is because when the bass key on the bass route side is played legatoly, the key name of the last key pressed in the legato is used as the base root, and the keyboard above the lowest note is pressed. In this case, the bass route can be determined before releasing the lowest note, and the bass route can be changed at a timing desired by the performer. Furthermore, when the key pressed later is outside the above range, the detection range of the other chord code can be expanded by using the lowest note name as the base route. In other words, if the finger playing the other chord side approaches the base root side, it may be mistakenly determined to be part of the chord on the base root side. We decided to use the note name of the lowest note instead of the note name of the key that was finally pressed as the base route. Thereby, even if the detection range of the other code of the fractional code is brought closer to the base route side, it is not erroneously determined. However, the pitch name of the lowest key pressed may be the same as the pitch name of the key pressed last.
In any of these configurations, when it is determined that the determination unit does not determine the fraction code, the control unit changes the third area from the lowest sound to the lowest sound by N4 keys shown in the
Since it is not determined to be a fractional chord, normal chord detection is performed in the third area, and automatic accompaniment is performed according to the chord.
In addition to the above configuration that is not determined to be a fraction code, in any other configuration, as a result of detecting the code from the key depression state in the second area, when the route of the code is the same as the base route, It is preferable that the determination of the fractional chord is stopped and the chord detected from the key depression state in the second area is decided as the chord for performing the automatic accompaniment.
This prescribes a configuration in the case of exiting from the fraction code mode, and is the same as the above configuration that is not determined to be a fraction code.
In contrast to the proposal of the above configuration, the following configuration is used as an example in the present application.

FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of a fraction code determination configuration used when automatic accompaniment is executed in the electronic keyboard instrument.
This configuration is provided as a part of the functions of the electronic keyboard instrument, and is configured to determine a fraction code in response to a key press, and in the keyboard having a plurality of keys, the base of the fraction code A first area for detecting a route and a second area for detecting a chord having a route different from the base route in the keyboard are set, and the key pressing state in each region is set. A fraction code determination device that determines the fraction code by detecting the base route and the code.

FIG. 5 shows an example of data when the chord root is C in the case of the above fingered and full keyboard.
In contrast to the one-finger and fingered that are supposed to be detected with one hand, the full keyboard that assumes detection with both hands changes more complexly, so the type of code that is detected is reduced. Yes.

In the configuration of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 7, the lowest sound on the left hand side is detected, and it is set as the lower limit of the first area (base detection area), and the 15th key (= N1) is used as described above. As an upper limit of the base detection area, whether or not to perform fraction code detection is determined depending on whether or not three or more keys are pressed in the area.
In the configuration of the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 12, in the above-described base detection area (first area: 15 keys up to 9th when the lowest sound is considered as 1 degree), pressing of 3 or more keys is performed. If a key is detected, no base detection is performed. That is, the fraction code is not detected. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 12, 17 keys from the lowest sound to the third degree (10th) on the octave when the lowest sound is considered to be I degree (the third area, the lowest (From the lowest tone to the highest tone by the N4 key shown in the following equation 12) is used as a chord detection area, and a chord that is not a fraction chord is used as an automatic accompaniment code according to the key pressed state in this area. The detection is performed. The above 17 sounds are defined as CBD when playing a typical voicing, CBDEG (= Cm9), as shown in Example 2: Cm9 in FIG. This is because Cm9 is determined with 4 keys of -E (range of 17 keys).
On the contrary, when a key depression of 2 keys or less is detected in the above-described base detection area, the base is detected. That is, the fraction code is detected. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 13, the lower limit of the code detection area is set to the seventh key (= N2) from the lowest tone on the left hand side (in FIG. 13, the hollow gray circle key), and starts from there. The 17th key (= N3) up to the third degree (10th) on the octave when the lowest sound (the black circle key in FIG. 13) of the sounds higher than the base detection area is considered as the first degree. As the highest sound, the code detection area of the fractional code is set between them. Also, assuming a legato playing method of a descending phrase in the bass detection area assumed to be the left hand side, the lowest note on the left hand side to the seventh key (= N2) are excluded from the chord detection area assumed to be the right hand side. Range.
The reason why the lower limit of the chord detection area is expanded as described above is that it is assumed that the right hand key press includes a sound that is next to the lowest sound in the base detection area. For example, when G2-G3-B3-D3 is pressed, the G2 keyboard is out of the chord detection range, so it is ignored in the configuration so far, but in this way, by expanding the chord detection area range, The detection is also possible.
As described above, the temporary code route and the temporary code type are determined by pressing the key of 3 keys or more from the code detection area, and the temporary base route is detected from the base detection area. The final code is determined with reference to the converted data. For example, when the temporary base route is D and the temporary code route and the temporary code type are Bm7 (b5), it is determined as Dm6. If the temporary base route is E and the temporary code route and the temporary code type are C6, Am7 / E is determined.
When only one key press (lowest key) is detected in the base detection area, the fractional code is detected as described above. The pitch name of the lowest note detected here is set as a temporary base route. Then, a final fraction code (base route / code) is determined by combining the code in the code detection area on the right-hand side area.
However, in the bass detection area, there is a situation where the keyboard that you want to use as the bass root does not necessarily have the lowest note due to the legato playing method, etc.In such a case, which of the first key press and the next key press is used as the base root. Must be decided. On the contrary, if the distance between the two keys is not observed, the code detection on the right-hand side code detection area side is affected, and the detection with the right hand may not be possible. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9, the first key pressed in the base detection area is set as the lowest sound, and up to the third degree (+5 keys) is defined as the base detection legato corresponding area. To do.
When the next key is pressed in the base detection legato area (when the next key is within 4 keys from the previous key), as shown in FIG. The base route. FIG. 15 and FIG. 16 show the same thing. FIG. 15 shows the same case as FIG. 9, and FIG. 16 shows that the next key (final key) becomes the lowest tone, The base route.
Then, the fraction code is determined together with the code detected in the code detection area.
On the other hand, when the next key is pressed outside the base detection legato area (when the next key is five or more keys from the previous key), as shown in FIG. Is a temporary base route. FIG. 17 shows the same thing. In the case of FIG. 17, the case of the legato playing method of both the descending phrase and the ascending phrase is shown. Considering that the key that is not the lowest note is included in the chord detection area on the right hand side, if the key is more than 3 degrees apart (if more than five keys), the note name of the lowest note Is detected as a temporary base route.
Then, the fraction code is determined together with the code detected in the code detection area.
The determination of the above base route will be described below as an easy-to-understand example. Here, it is assumed that the first key pressed in the base detection area is the lowest tone, and the key up to the third degree (+5 keys) is pressed / released in the following order as the legato correspondence area for base detection. . It is assumed that there is another key press far above the lowest tone.
At the stage of (1) do key depression → (2) mi key depression → (3) do key release (1), there is no key depression within 5 keys from the lowest sound (do), so do becomes the base route.
At stage (2), since there is another key press (mi) within 5 keys from the lowest note (do), the key pressed later becomes the base route.
At stage (3), there is no key depression within 5 keys from the lowest note (mi), so mi becomes the base route.
Next, another example of pressing and releasing keys will be described.
At the stage of (4) do key depression → (5) so key depression → (6) do key release (4), since there is no key depression within 5 keys from the lowest sound (do), do becomes the base route.
At stage (5), there is no key depression within 5 keys from the lowest sound (do), so do becomes the base route.
At stage (6), there is no key depression within 5 keys from the lowest sound (so), so so becomes the base route.
On the other hand, when the code is detected from the key-pressed state in the second area while it is once determined as a fraction code, when the route of the code becomes the same as the base route, the

If there is no event (step S102; N), the process proceeds to sound generation / mute processing in step S110 described later. On the contrary, if there is an event (step S102; Y), it is checked whether or not the event is an automatic accompaniment process (step S104).
When the event is automatic accompaniment processing (step S104; Y), automatic accompaniment processing is performed (step S106). On the other hand, if it is not the automatic accompaniment process (step S104; N), the process proceeds to a sound generation / mute process in step S110 described later.
In the case of the automatic accompaniment process, a chord detection process, which will be described later, is performed (step S108), a sound generation / mute process is performed (step S110), and other processes are executed (step S112), and the process returns to step S102. .
FIG. 19 is a flowchart showing a process flow of the code detection process in step S108 of FIG. 18 according to the configuration of the present embodiment.
The lowest sound is detected by the keyboard unit 114 (step S200). The lowest sound is set as the lower limit of the bass detection area (step S202). The N1 key (15th key) from the lowest sound is set as the upper limit of the base detection area (step S204).
Next, it is detected whether or not there is a key depression of 3 keys or more in the base detection area (step S206).
If there is no key depression of three or more keys in the base detection area (step S206; N), the base detection function is enabled, that is, the fraction code is detected (step S208). In that case, a base route is detected in the base detection area (step S210). Then, the lower limit of the code detection area where the N2 key (seventh key) hits the numerator of the fractional code from the lowest sound is set (step S212). Of the pitches higher than the bass detection region, the lowest key (lowest note) to N3 key (17th key) is set as the upper limit of the chord detection region (step S214).
Further, a code (code route and code type) is detected in the code detection area (step S216).
On the other hand, if there are three or more keys pressed in the base detection area in step S206 (step S206; Y), the base detection function is disabled, that is, the fraction code is not detected (step S206). S218). In that case, the lowest sound is set as the lower limit of the chord detection area (step S220). The N4 key (17th key) from the lowest sound is set as the upper limit of the code detection area (step S214).
Thereafter, the process proceeds to step S216, and a code (code route and code type) is detected in the code detection area (step S216).
FIG. 20 is a flowchart showing the process flow of the base route detection process in step S210 of FIG.
As shown in the figure. The key of the lowest tone is detected (step S300). The lowest tone key is set as the lower limit of the bass detection region (step S302), and the N1 key (15th key) from the lowest tone key is set as the upper limit of the bass detection region (step S304).
Next, in the base detection area, it is detected whether or not the key is pressed with only one key (step S306).
In the base detection area, if the key pressed is not only one key (step S306; N), the last key pressed in the range of the base detection area is detected (step S308).
Then, it is detected whether or not the lowest tone key is separated from the final key by a predetermined value (III degree; 5 keys) or more (step S310).
If the lowest key is not separated from the final key by a predetermined value (III degree; 5 keys) or more (Step S310; N), the pitch name of the final key is set as the base route (Step S312).
On the other hand, when only one key is pressed in the base detection area in step S306 (step S306; Y), and in step S310, the lowest tone key is set to a predetermined value (III degree; 5). If it is more than (key) (step S310; Y), the pitch name of the lowest note is set as the base route (step S314).
FIG. 21 is a flowchart showing a process flow of a process for detecting a code in the code detection area in step S216 of FIG.
As shown in the figure, first, the octave information of all keys pressed in the detection area is deleted and standardized (step S400). That is, 12-bit pitch name information (C, C #, D, D #,..., B on / off information) is used.
The table is referred to using the standardized state as a 12-bit address (step S402).
It is determined whether there is a code in the table, that is, whether it is a no code (step S404).
If it is a no code in step S404 (step S404; Y), the process proceeds to step S110 in FIG. On the other hand, if it is not a no code (step S404; N), it is detected whether or not it is the first detection mode (full keyboard mode) (step S406).
If it is not the first detection mode (full keyboard mode) (step S406; N), that is, if it is the second detection mode (one-finger mode or fingered mode), the process proceeds to step S412 described later.
On the contrary, in the case of the first detection mode (full keyboard mode) (step S406; Y), a discarding device (code filter) is applied, and codes that should not be discriminated are discarded (no-coding) (step S408).
Then, it is determined whether or not the output of the discard device (code filter) is a no code (step S410).
If it is a no code in step S410 (step S410; Y), the process proceeds to step S110 in FIG. On the other hand, if it is not a no code (step S410; N), a code is determined for the remaining code (step S412). That is, for example, the determined code is stored in a code register (provided at an arbitrary address in the RAM 112). The automatic accompaniment apparatus performs automatic accompaniment based on the code stored in the code register. Therefore, if a no chord is detected in step S404 or S410 and a new memory is not overwritten in the chord register, the automatic accompaniment apparatus will continue the automatic accompaniment according to the last memorized chord.
According to the above-described configuration of the embodiment of the present invention, whether or not the
The base route is the note name corresponding to the key pressed in the base detection area, and is pressed most recently in the range within the predetermined sound (III degree; 5 keys) from the lowest key pressed on the keyboard. According to the configuration in which the key name of the key is determined as the base root, when the base key pressed on the base root side is played legatoly, the key name of the last key pressed in the legato is used as the base root. Even when the upper keyboard is pressed from the lowest note, the bass route can be determined before releasing the lowest note, and the bass route can be changed at a timing desired by the player. Furthermore, when the key pressed later is out of the above range, the code detection range of the other chord detection area of the fractional chord can be expanded by using the lowest note name as the base route. It becomes like this. That is, if the finger playing the chord side of the other chord detection area approaches the base root side, it may be mistakenly determined to be a part of the chord on the base root side. If the key is out of the above range, the lowest note name is used as the base route, so that the code detection range of the other chord detection area of the fractional code is wrong even if it is close to the base route side. It has the merit that it is not judged.
Furthermore, when the
In addition, by adopting a configuration in which the mode is exited from the fractional code mode, it is possible to exit from the mode after the determination of the fractional code is made. Thereafter, the third area is a normal code. Detection is performed, and automatic accompaniment is performed according to the chord.
Further, according to the configuration of the present embodiment, the number of codes belonging to the first code group is reduced from the number of codes belonging to the second code group, and in the first detection mode (full keyboard mode), When the
In the above configuration, the first detection mode (full keyboard mode) detects the code detected by the second detection mode (one-finger mode or fingered mode), and then the code selected by the
When the first or
FIG. 22 shows an example when the number of detection codes is not suppressed and when the number is not suppressed in the first detection mode (full keyboard mode).
In this example, the CM7 chord (C3, E3, G3, B3) is played with the left hand, and the melody (G4 → A4 → B4 → C5 → D5) is played with the right hand.
In this example, in chord detection 1), the accompaniment is changed three times. That is, the sound that is being generated is temporarily muted and re-pronounced at a pitch that matches the new detection code. With an accompaniment arrangement (arrangement), for example, if the pitch of a stretched sound, such as a whole note, is changed each time the melody sound is changed, it deviates from the original accompaniment arrangement. And the sense of rhythm is not stable.
On the other hand, according to the chord detection 2) of the configuration of this embodiment, by reducing the number of codes to be detected, the accompaniment is changed once and the accompaniment reproduction is stabilized. The CM7 (13) chord is not detected during the melody sound A4. However, when the melody and the accompaniment are listened to, the sound of the A sound is sufficient because the melody sound A4 is sufficient.
As described above, according to the configuration of this embodiment that reduces the number of detected codes in the first detection mode (full keyboard mode), even if chord detection is performed sequentially for the movement of the melody, as described above. In addition, since the number of codes to be detected is substantially reduced, the number of accompaniment changes is reduced and accompaniment reproduction is stabilized.
Note that the fraction code determination device of the present invention is not limited to the above illustrated example, and it is needless to say that various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.
The fraction code determination device of the present invention can be applied to a configuration in which an electronic keyboard instrument or a keyboard can be connected to a PC and used as a musical instrument, and in that case, the above-described effects can be achieved.
