Description

The present invention relates to a welding simulator for learning welding work.

Conventionally, welding training for welding technicians has been performed under the guidance of skilled workers who are skilled in actual work. That is, the skill acquisition of the welding work is usually performed by a practical training for actually welding a welding target such as a base material. In such practical training, since it is necessary to receive guidance from a skilled person during practical hours, there has been a problem that the time for receiving training is limited.

Therefore, in order to cope with the above problem, a welding simulator as shown in Patent Document 1 below has been developed. In this welding simulator, it is intended to perform welding skill training even when there is no skilled person outside the work.

However, even when using the welding simulator as described above, the reason is that the welding object such as the base material is required for the number of times of training, and the preparation of protective equipment such as materials and masks is required. Therefore, it takes a lot of time and money to learn basic motion skills. Therefore, in such a welding simulator, it is required to develop an apparatus capable of learning the welding work more efficiently while saving time and cost.

Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the welding simulator which can learn welding work efficiently.

In order to solve the above-described problems, a welding simulator according to the present invention includes a welding torch having at least three detected portions, a monitor having at least three detected portions and displaying a welding target, and detection of the welding torch. A camera sensor that detects the position and angle of the welding torch with respect to the monitor and a control unit that controls at least the display on the monitor. When a welding operation is simulated so that a welding torch is applied to the welding target, the welded portion is displayed on the welding target on the monitor in real time according to the position and angle detected by the camera sensor.

In the welding simulator according to the present invention, the three detected portions of the welding torch and the three detected portions of the monitor are detected by the camera sensor, and the position and angle of the welding torch with respect to the monitor are accurately grasped. Therefore, when the user simulates the welding operation by placing the welding torch on the welding object on the monitor, it seems as if the welding object on the monitor is welded according to the position and angle detected by the camera sensor. Therefore, the welded portion is accurately displayed in real time. As a result, it is possible to simulate the welding operation with high accuracy, eliminate the need for preparation of the welding object, etc., and reduce the time and cost required to acquire the welding skill. Therefore, according to the present invention, learning of welding work can be performed efficiently.

Moreover, it is preferable to have learning assist means for supporting learning of welding work. Here, examples of the assistance performed by the learning assist means include a voice guide that guides the welding rod of the welding torch by voice, and a display guide that guides the rod movement method of the welding torch by displaying characters on the monitor. By providing this learning assist means, it becomes possible to learn welding work more efficiently.

In addition, it is preferable to include a sense of presence generating means that enhances the sense of reality of the welding operation by performing at least one of output of sound related to the welding operation and display on a monitor. According to this realism generating means, for example, actual welding sound is output and sparks are displayed on the monitor, thereby further enhancing the realism of the welding work and making the welding work more efficient. It becomes possible to learn.

The monitor is preferably provided so as to be tiltable so that the orientation of the display surface changes, and the camera sensor is preferably movable according to the posture of the monitor. Thereby, detection accuracy, such as a position of a welding torch and a monitor by a camera sensor, can be raised.

Moreover, it is preferable to have recording means for recording simulated contents of a welding operation by a user, and reproducing means for reproducing simulated contents recorded in the recording means on a monitor. As a result, for example, the user can review and review the simulation result of his / her welding work. In addition, it is possible to record the simulation result of a skilled person and reproduce the simulation result as a model on the monitor, so that the welding operation can be learned more efficiently.

According to the present invention, it is possible to learn welding work efficiently.

In addition, the camera sensor 30 here is attached to the rod-shaped member 4b so that the camera direction is variable. The camera sensor 30 is connected to the control unit 40 via a cable (not shown).

The camera sensor 30 detects the target 11 or the target 12 on the monitor 10 and the target 22 on the welding torch 20, and information such as a three-dimensional relative position, a relative angle, and a relative speed of the welding torch 20 with respect to the monitor 10. Is detected.

Specifically, the camera sensor 30 captures a checkered pattern on the target 11 or the target 12 and the target 22, and detects the position of the welding torch 20 relative to the monitor 10 from the position of the captured checkered pattern. The camera sensor 30 detects the angle of the welding torch 20 with respect to the monitor 10 from the shape and inclination of the taken checkered pattern. Information detected by the camera sensor 30 is transmitted to the control unit 40 in real time as an electrical signal.

The control unit 40 is provided behind the rack 2 and is placed and held on the upper surface of the connection member 25. As shown in FIG. 4, the control unit 40 has a welding simulation program 46 for performing welding simulation work. In this welding simulation program 46, when the trainee H performs the welding simulation work so that the welding torch 20 is applied to the welding object M displayed on the monitor 10, the welding torch 20 detected by the camera sensor 30 is monitored with respect to the monitor 10. In accordance with information such as position and angle, a function for displaying the welded portion B such as a bead on the monitor 10 in real time is executed (see FIG. 5). Next, an example of a method and an operation in which a trainer performs a welding simulation work using the welding simulator 1 in the present embodiment will be described.

First, after the monitor 10 is turned on, the control unit 40 is turned on. Subsequently, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, during the vertical welding training for performing the vertical welding training, the tilting mechanism 19 changes the direction of the display surface 10 a of the monitor 10 to a state in which the display surface 10 a faces forward (hereinafter referred to as “the vertical surface”). , Referred to as “standing posture”). Alternatively, during the downward welding training in which the downward welding training is performed, the tilt mechanism 19 causes the display surface 10a of the monitor 10 to be either in a state in which the display surface 10a faces upward (hereinafter referred to as “horizontal posture”). Either.

Subsequently, the camera sensor 30 is moved according to the posture of the monitor 10, and the camera sensor 30 is moved to an optimal position for detecting the target 11 or the target 12 and the target 22. Specifically, in the upright posture, the rod-like member 4b is rotated around the left and right axes of the support member 4a to move the camera sensor 30 upward and forward. Alternatively, in the horizontal posture, the rod-like member 4b is rotated around the left and right axes of the support member 4a to move the camera sensor 30 downward and rearward.

In addition, after the power is turned on, the setting screen A is displayed on the monitor 10. Therefore, using the welding torch 20 as a pointing device, the user selects his / her name on the setting screen A and presses the OK button, and selects the welding conditions such as the state of the welding object M and presses the OK button. . Note that the state of the welding object M means, for example, whether it is a horizontal fillet or a vertical fillet, or an angle (inclination) at which these horizontal fillets or vertical fillets are displayed. is doing.

Thereafter, a safety confirmation screen for confirming whether or not the protective equipment is worn is displayed on the monitor 10. This is a screen that is displayed for training close to actual work. Therefore, when the OK button is pressed on the safety confirmation screen, a training condition condition confirmation screen is displayed, and when the OK button is further pressed, the welding object M is displayed on the monitor 10, so that the welding simulation work can be started. It becomes a state.

In this startable state, as shown in FIG. 5, when the gripping portion 23 of the welding torch 20 is gripped and the lever 23 a is moved, the welding simulation work is started on the monitor 10. Then, when the welding simulation operation is performed by moving the torch tip 21 at a predetermined speed and angle while maintaining an appropriate distance with respect to the display surface 10a, the following processing is executed. That is, the target 11 or the target 12 of the monitor 10 and the target 22 of the welding torch 20 are photographed by the camera sensor 30. At the same time, the position, speed, angle, etc. of the welding torch 20 with respect to the monitor 10 during the welding simulation work are detected based on the change in the position, shape and inclination of the checkered pattern between the target 11 or the target 12 and the target 22. The information is transmitted to the control unit 40 in real time.

In the control unit 40, a welded portion B having a shape such as a length, a width, and a depth according to information such as a position, speed, and angle transmitted from the camera sensor 30 is obtained simultaneously with the transmission. . And the said welding part B appears in the corresponding location of the welding target M on the display surface 10a in real time. In other words, depending on the distance, direction, speed, and the like between the welding torch 20 and the display surface 10a during the trainer's welding simulation work, a three-dimensional bulge is gradually generated in the portion to be welded of the welding target M. The shape and the like are changed in real time.

If the lever 23a is pressed again during the welding simulation work, the amount of the welding object M to be melted can be reduced, the drawing of the welding flame can be reduced, or the welding spark can be reduced.

Subsequently, when all the welding simulation operations are completed, a pass / fail screen is displayed on the monitor 10 by the above-described pass / fail determination function 41d. The result display function 41c displays the result of the welding simulation work (the trajectory of the rod, the angle, the speed, the extension, the pitch, etc.) on the monitor 10 as a graph.

As described above, in the welding simulator 1 according to the present embodiment, the three targets 22a, 22b, and 22c of the welding torch 20 are detected by the camera sensor 30. At the same time, the target 11a, 11b, 11c or the target 12a, 12b, 12c of the monitor 10 is detected by the camera sensor 30. Then, the three-dimensional position, angle and speed of the welding torch 20 with respect to the monitor 10 are accurately detected and grasped. Therefore, when the trainee H performs the welding simulation work with the welding torch 20 on the welding object M on the monitor 10, the training person H changes the welding object M on the monitor 10 according to the position, angle, and speed detected by the camera sensor 30. The welded portion B is displayed with high accuracy in real time as if welding was performed.

As a result, the welding operation can be simulated with high accuracy, and it is not necessary to actually prepare a welding object or the like every time training is performed, thereby making it possible to reduce the time and cost required to acquire welding skills. In addition, it is easy to visually understand the state of performing the welding simulation work, and it is possible to enhance the presence of the welding simulation work. Therefore, according to this embodiment, learning of welding work can be performed efficiently.

Moreover, when the control unit 40 of the welding simulator 1 includes the learning assist program 41 described above, the trainer H can efficiently learn the welding work while receiving support from the learning assist program 41. Furthermore, since the control unit 40 includes the presence generation program 42, it is possible to express the welding work clearly by visual and voice, and to increase the learning efficiency of the trainee H.

In the welding simulator 1 of the present embodiment, the camera sensor 30 is movable according to the posture of the monitor 10. Therefore, the detection accuracy of the position etc. by the camera sensor 30 can be improved.

Further, since the control unit 40 of the welding simulator 1 includes the recording program 43 and the reproduction program 44, the trainer H can review his / her work contents and reproduce the expert's simulated contents as examples. Therefore, a higher learning effect can be obtained in the welding work training.

In addition, the structure itself can also be simplified by using the circular member which has a checkered pattern as the targets 11,12,22. Further, since the three-dimensional position and the like of the welding torch 20 are detected by detecting the target 11, 12, and 22 with the camera sensor 30 and performing image processing, the three-dimensional position and the like are detected with higher accuracy than the conventional welding simulator. It can detect suitably.

Moreover, as for the welding torch 20, it is not always necessary to use what is used in the actual welding operation as described above, and different types of welding torches can be used as appropriate. However, the welding simulation work can be made close to the actual work by using the same one used in the actual welding work as in the above embodiment.

Moreover, about the targets 11, 12, and 22, the arrangement | positioning is not limited and can be arrange | positioned suitably. For example, only one of the targets 11 and 12 may be provided, or another target may be provided. Also, the number of targets may be four or more instead of three. Also, the shape of the target is not necessarily circular, and the pattern of the target is not necessarily checkered.

Moreover, the various programs with which the control part 40 is provided are not limited to the said embodiment. For example, the learning assist program 41 may employ a function of displaying a point to be watched (gaze point) in red on the display surface 10a during the welding simulation work, thereby prompting the trainee to look at the gaze point. . Further, the learning assist program 41 may employ a function of vibrating the vibration portion provided in the welding torch 20, thereby notifying the trainee of the warning. Further, for example, a function of causing the presence generating program 42 to output a metal odor during welding from a separately provided odor generating unit may be employed.

The control unit 40 has a calibration function (calibration program) that can adjust the reference position of the monitor 10 or the welding torch 20 with respect to the camera sensor 30 or the reference position of the welding torch 20 with respect to the monitor 10.
