Claims (27)
- 波のエネルギーを電気に変換する、海、大洋等の水域に配置される構造物であって、
前記構造物を支持し、吸い込み口を形成する浮体と、波の運動を連続した往復運動に変換する複数の波エネルギー変換機構と、発電するために該波エネルギー変換機構と共働する複数のエネルギー変換システムと、前記波エネルギー変換機構及び前記エネルギー変換システムを定位置で収納するプラットホームとを含む、構造物。 - 前記浮体は、水バラストのための底部殻(109)及び側部殻(107)からなる殻体を含み、
前記側部殻は、前記プラットホーム(101、103)から下方に伸び、断面U字状の吸い込み口を形成するために前記底部殻と一体に結合されている、請求項1に記載の構造物。 - 前記底部殻は、前記構造物に対する波の運動を和らげるために広い平坦面を有する、請求項2に記載の構造物。
- 前記吸い込み口は、水が該吸い込み口に流入し、通過できるように一端部と他端部とに開口を有する、請求項2に記載の構造物。
- 前記波エネルギー変換機構は、波とともに動くことができるクランク機構及び浮台を含む、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 浮台が、前記波に押されたとき、ピボットの周りで上下に揺れ動く、請求項4に記載の構造物。
- 前記プラットホームは、上部甲板と、下部甲板とを有する複数の甲板を含む、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 前記殻体内の前記水バラストは、浮台が常に水面に接触するように前記構造物を水平に保つ、請求項2に記載の構造物。
- 前記エネルギー変換システムは、高圧液圧パイプ(500)と、低圧液圧パイプ(506)と、発電機(502)と、液圧モータ(503)と、蓄圧器(501)と、液体タンク(505)と、液体冷却器(504)とを含む、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 前記エネルギー変換システムは、上部甲板と下部甲板との間に設けられた空間内部に取り付けられている、請求項5に記載の構造物。
- 前記プラットホームは、ヘリポート(507)、クレーン、貯蔵庫(511)、要員詰所(509)及び電気を陸上に送電する変電設備(515)のための領域が設けられた上部甲板(101)と、要員が前記波エネルギー変換機構(105)に歩いて近づくことができる下部甲板(103)とを有する、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- プラントで発電された電気は、変電設備(515)から陸上局へアンビリカルケーブルによって送電される、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 各浮台(201)が、前記プラットホームから伸びる少なくとも1つの保持部材(207)により保持され、前記浮台は、波(209、211)とともに自由に動くことができるように該浮台の中間点で揺動し、少なくとも1つのクランク機構(204)と共働する、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- クランク機構が、液圧ポンプのピストンを上下に押圧する、請求項9に記載の構造物。
- 前記往復運動は、浮台の前部と後部との間で交互に生ずる、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 浮台(201)が、平らな底面と、波の頂点(211)に向かい合う、該浮台の前部にある傾斜面(301)とを有する、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 浮台(201)が、保持部材(207)及び前記波エネルギー変換機構を激しい波の衝撃によって影響を受けることから守る障壁(205)を有する、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 前記構造物は、波が前記吸い込み口に流入する前に広い部分から狭い部分へ進むことができる漏斗状延長部を備える、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 前記プラットホームは、点検中に浮台を静止させるために該浮台の前部及び後部の上部を固定する固定アームを備える、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 固定アームが、浮台と連結するように該固定アームから延長可能な柱を備える、請求項1に記載の構造物。
- 波のエネルギーを電気に変換する方法であって、
海、大洋等の水域に構造物を浮かせること、
水及び波が通過できるように、前記構造物に開口を備えた吸い込み口(113)を形成すること、
前記吸い込み口に波エネルギー変換機構を配置することにより波の運動を往復運動に変換し、転送すること、
前記吸い込み口を通過する波に前記波エネルギー変換機構が押されるように前記構造物を水平に保つことを含む、方法。 - 前記構造物を浮かせることは、底部殻と、側部殻とからなる殻体を使用することである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記吸い込み口の形成は、下方に伸びる少なくとも2つの垂直な側部殻を水平な底部殻に断面U字状となるように一体に結合することによる、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 波の運動を往復運動に変換し、転送することは、浮台が波とともに自由に動くことができ、該浮台にクランク機構を接合することである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記構造物を水平に保つことは、殻体にバラスト水を出し入れすることで安定させることである、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記浮台の動きは、前記吸い込み口を通過する波に前記浮台が押されたとき、ピボットの周りで上下に揺動することである、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記往復運動は、発電のために液圧ポンプのピストンを上下に押圧することである、請求項24に記載の方法。
