Abstract
Description
−調査されるべき組織の中心に生検針を誘導する困難性、
−腫瘍境界(腫瘍の形状及びサイズ)を線引きする困難性、
−腫瘍の播種なしで組織学的分析のために身体から標本を取る困難性、
のような、複数の欠点を持ちうることがわかっている。
前記システムは、2次元蛍光透視画像を3次元組織再構成上に重ねることにより切り口から標的点まで前記生検針をインタラクティブに追跡することができ、前記患者の体内の位置に対して位置合わせされる針軌道に沿った各点における分子組織情報を提供する。
前記針軌道に沿った領域は、分子レベルで病変存在に関する表示を提供するためにスキャン(前方スキャン、片側スキャン)されることができる。
好ましくは、何の組織が前記針の前にあるかを再構成する際に、前記X線データ及び前記針の位置情報は、何の組織が前記針の前にあるかの光学的再構成において積極的に使用される。
針スキャンから推定される腫瘍境界及びX線から推定される腫瘍境界が比較される。前記X線情報は、前記腫瘍の形状の推定を与えるが、正確な境界は決定されることができない。前記針は、前記腫瘍境界の詳細な情報を与えるが、この情報は、前記針軌道に沿ってのみ得られる。前記腫瘍のX線形状を前記針の1次元情報と結合することにより、3次元腫瘍サイズの新しい推定値が計算されることができる(第3の実施例を参照)。新しく推定された拡大された境界は、前記腫瘍境界に対するより良い推定である。
X線情報及び針情報は、更に、同じ領域のMRI画像に結合される(MRデータセットはX線マシンにより生成されたデータセットと位置合わせされることができる)。
光ファイバを備えた生検針は、位置特定ワイヤを位置決めするのに使用される。固定手段を含む前記位置特定ワイヤは、ファイバを備えることができる。
