Description
このようなフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性基油成分は、Shell Bintuluから得られる粘度が8mm2/s以上(100℃で)のエキストラ重質基油残留成分である。
成分(b)の初期沸点は、好ましくは400℃以上である。この初期沸点は、更に好ましくは450℃以上、なお更に好ましくは480℃以上である。
最も広い意味では本発明は、重質基油成分がフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導であってもフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導でなくても、前記特性の1つ以上を有するパラフィン性重質基油成分の使用法(use)を包含する。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料中の化合物の20重量%以上が炭素原子数30以上の化合物である該フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料を水素化分解/水素化異性化する工程、
(b)工程(a)の生成物を1種以上の中間蒸留物フラクションと、沸点が540℃を超える化合物を10重量%以上含有する残留重質フラクションとに分離する工程、
(c)該残留フラクションに対し接触流動点降下工程を行う工程、及び
(d)工程(c)の流出流から残留重質フラクションとしてフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性重質基油成分を単離する工程。
中間蒸留物ベース燃料の沸点は、一般に通常の中間蒸留物範囲内125又は150〜400又は550℃である。
本発明の中間蒸留物ベース燃料は、通常、2種以上の前述のような種類の中間蒸留物燃料成分、特にディーゼル燃料成分の混合物を含有する。
・WO−A−95/33805:低硫黄燃料の潤滑性を強化するための常温(cold)流れ改良剤
・WO−A−94/17160:ディーゼルエンジン噴射システムの摩擦低下用燃料添加物として、カルボン酸とアルコールとの特定のエステル
・WO−A−98/01516:特に低硫黄ディーゼル燃料に耐摩耗潤滑性効果を与えるための、芳香族核に結合した少なくとも1つのカルボキシル基を有する特定のアルキル芳香族化合物
添加剤は燃料組成物の製造中、種々の段階で添加してよい。例えば製油所で添加される添加剤は、帯電防止剤、パイプラインドラッグレデューサー(drug reducer)、流れ改良剤(例えばエチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体又はアクリレート/無水マレイン酸共重合体)、潤滑性強化剤、酸化防止剤及び蝋沈降防止剤から選択してよい。本発明を実施する際、ベース燃料は既にこのような製油所添加剤を含有してよい。その他の添加剤を製油所の下流に添加してよい。
燃料A:菜種油メチルエステル(ADM、ハンブルク、ドイツから)を主成分とする脂肪酸メチルエステルを5容量%含有する鉱物基油、及び
燃料B:フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導エキストラ重質基油(Shell Bintulu)、
を試験した。
燃料Aの特性を表1に示す。
燃料Bの特定の特性値を表2に示す。
燃料B中のエキストラ重質基油の特性を表3に示す。
燃料組成物絵を表4に示す条件下でOM646メルセデスベンツ・コモンレールエンジン中で試験した。
Claims (10)
- (a)バイオディーゼル燃料成分を少なくとも部分的に含有する中間蒸留物ベース燃料、及び(b)100℃での粘度が8mm2/s以上であるフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性基油成分を含有する中間蒸留物燃料組成物。
- 前記フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性基油成分(b)が重質残留基油である請求項1に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記中間蒸留物ベース燃料(a)がディーゼルベース燃料である請求項1又は2に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記ベース燃料(a)がフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ベース燃料を含有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記パラフィン性基油成分(b)におけるε−メチレン炭素原子(%)対イソプロピル炭素原子(%)の比が8.2以下である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記基油成分(b)の流動点が−30℃以下である請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記基油成分(b)が、該燃料組成物を使用するエンジンに存在するエンジン潤滑油の100℃での動粘度における15%の減少を克服するように選択される請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の燃料組成物。
- 前記基油成分(b)の濃度が0.1〜10重量%である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の燃料組成物。
- 中間蒸留物燃料組成物を使用するエンジン中のエンジン潤滑油の粘度を増大する目的で、中間蒸留物燃料組成物にフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性基油成分を使用する方法。
- 中間蒸留物燃料組成物に含まれるバイオディーゼル成分により粘度の低下した中間蒸留物燃料組成物を使用するエンジン中のエンジン潤滑油の粘度を増大する目的で、該中間蒸留物燃料組成物にフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン性基油成分を使用する方法。
